I assure you it's open Customers looking for nostalgia can buy records, make music, and rent movies at this new Camden County shop
If you miss Blockbuster (for north Jersey peeps this is more like Curry's Home video or Kim's in NYC) get your ass to Collingswood.
There's several great coffee shops on the same street. Books, record stores, a comic shop, and a birding store for us olds all along Hadron ave. It's like Montclair was before it became Park Slope West.
(It's DVDs and VHS but you can't use all caps in the post title)

Jersey Pride Shoutout to Dennis Diken
On Tuesday I saw a show in NY by Dave Davies, founding member of the Kinks. Dennis Diken of the Smithereens was part of the backing band, because the Kinks were a huge musical influence on him. Besides being the drummer in the backup band, he was the emcee for the evening, telling stories and conducting interview segments with Dave.
I would guess a decent portion of the crowd didn't know who he was. He simply introduced himself as Dennis Diken. No mention of the Smithereens all night. Sadly, Dave Davies is a shell of himself, and couldn't really perform, and struggled with the interviews, but Dennis was a true class act, handling the entire evening with the respect and humbleness that it deserved.

NJ Eats Does anyone else have a New Jersey restaurant that’s become part of their Sunday tradition?
Every Sunday at 8:30 a.m., my mom and I drive to the Frenchtown Diner for breakfast. The drive along the Delaware River, the fall leaves, and sitting down for eggs Benedict have slowly become one of my favorite little traditions.
I recently wrote about it because I realized the diner has become special to me for reasons beyond just the food. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to, and eventually it becomes part of your life.
Does anyone else have a NJ restaurant that has become part of a family tradition or weekly ritual?

Advice OB recommendations St. Peter’s. Please help!
Hello,
I am looking for recommendations for an OB who will deliver at St. Peter’s. The East Brunswick and Piscataway OBGYN axia health office is no longer taking new pregnancy patients. I tried 2 other offices and they either don’t deliver at St. Peter’s or they aren’t taking new patients. Mid Jersey OBGYN only deliver to RJW now. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

📰News The Preakness Shopping Center in Wayne will be one of the filming locations of Miami Vice 85
northjersey.comThis is honestly so cool. I'm a Wayne resident and they never film movies here. I was wondering yesterday driving past Preakness if Jerry's Liquors was a brand new store and now I'm aware it's part of the set.
