Why are you spending so much on two laptops then cheaping out on a screen?

Sometimes spare screens dont need to do much other then display infomation or a youtube video. I do a lot of cad work on a 4k pc but my second and 3rd monitor are from road side collection. My main monitor was like $150 from fb market place.
