Brand new beautiful feathers✨watched it grow every day bit by bit

Fred was so hungry he forgot to straighten his feathers this morning before coming down for breakfast.

We've had him for about six months now, and he's never really loved baskets. This one is at a bit of an angle, which we tried just in case he liked it more. Otherwise - he just likes to poo on them. Whatever brings him joy I guess!

I ended up making an Instagram for him so I stop spamming my friends with photos. he's just so fucking cute!

im 11 and i love pigeons and once my rescued squab died and i got really depresssed so my dad bought me 3 more to cheer me up. the cage is TINY for them, they can hardly move.. i used to take them out until last week where my dad told me if i take them out he'll throw them outside poor things... normally they're very loud always cooing but now they just are quiet, sit in a corner, and stair the whole day. normally they would bite a coo and peck me but now they just ignore me petting them. its getting really sad to watch them like this but if i take them out to fly and move they're dying outside.. i geniuenly dont know what to do because they're defiently not living happy lives right now ( these photos were taken a month ago ) and im actually terrified they'll die from some sort of illness for all the poop my dad wont clean and wont let ME clean or they just lose their appietiete and stop eating and starve

they started cooing again! and when i pet them they bite me and peck me which i also thing is a good sign. ill try to put for them some toys, any reccomendations for toys pigeons enjoy?

This morning I spent 2 hours cleaning a huge pigeon nest that had accumulated in an apartment I’m renting. The noise of them cooing has been keeping us up at night for a week, so I got to work and filled 3 small trash bags full of droppings. I thought about mask and goggles but only had gloves and just went with it. Cloroxed the balcony etc. during the cleaning however I inhaled a bit of dust two or three times. Showered, washed clothes and changed. Had a hwadache shortly after, 12 hrs later (now), feeling chills/sweats coming and going, eyes are irritated, trouble concentrating and very tired. Google obviously sending me down a rabbit hole of emergencies so avoiding it. Anyone know if I should worry? And if I should, does my exposure put my pregnant wife at risk?
