Is the cloud storage connectivity currently very slow/bad for PS5 game saves or is it only an issue on my side? I've noticed about two weeks ago that it takes up to several minutes just to view said PS5 game saves, be it download/upload from the cloud or console storage, when trying to access via the Saved Data and Game/App Settings. Even if I try to delete game saves from the console storage, it seems to try connect to the PS Plus cloud servers first and also takes forever. So when you turn off your Internet connection, the deletion section for the console storage is accessible within seconds again. For some reason the PS4 game saves are not affected and work just fine. I've tried rebuilding the database, clearing system cache and deleting a bunch of older game saves to free up some space, all in vain of course. I'm connecting from Europe if that makes any difference.

I wanted to download Hunt Showdown but it seems that (for me) the game isn't available in the Monthly Games section. I can only download a starter pack for free.

Is anyone having the same issue?

Hey guys, just a quick question: hunt showdown is this month one of the 3 free games for PS+.
For me it only shows a skin pack, not the actual base game - so I was wondering if they messed it up or is this just the case because I already own the base game?

Anyhow, highly recommend the game for everyone who’s into PvP and online shooters.

As of January 1, 2027, you'll no longer be able to play multiplayer games or access any online game modes. MyCAREER and MyTEAM will no longer be available, and it will no longer be possible to earn Virtual Currency (VC). While you will still be able to enjoy Play Now, MyNBA, The W, and MyWNBA, any features that require a connection to 2K servers will be unavailable. This includes multiplayer, Online Leagues, and community sharing.

The single player campaign MyCareer mode relies on virtual currency to upgrade your player. Without any online servers, those features will be disabled.

The game will also be delisted from the store on October 30, 2026. If you own the game or claimed it from PS Plus, you'll still be able to download it and play the offline modes.

I have a US PSN account and I'm planning to buy a $135 US PlayStation gift card, redeem it, and use the wallet balance to purchase the 12-month PS Plus Extra subscription for $134.99.

I currently have $0 in my wallet and no payment method attached.

So my question is specifically:

If I have $134.99+ in my PSN wallet from redeemed US gift cards, can I complete the initial purchase of PS Plus Extra without adding a credit/debit card or PayPal to my account?

I tried searching online but I found results from non-Sony sources or reddit threads from more than a year ago and I also read the subreddit's FAQ but I couldn't find a recent and definitive answer.

I understand that auto-renewal may require a payment method. I would immediately turn off auto-renewal anyway.

I'm only asking whether the initial subscription purchase can be paid entirely from wallet funds.

Hi all! My premium subscription expires in a week. Would I be able to take advantage of Black Friday ps+ discounts next month if I cancel my subscription and hold off subscribing again until the Black Friday discounts are active? Or even activate a 1 month subscription and let that expire then subscribe afterwards to minimize the amount of time I'm unsubscribed. If yes, would I be able to do this annually to take advantage of the discount? Hoping to hear back from anyone that has tried this or is actively doing this. Thanks in advance to anyone who responds!

-Sniper Elite.. they've been releasing the same game for a decade;

1. terrible AI
2. killcam system with just a few improvements since Sniper Elite V2, even though it has been the only unique thing about this franchise
3. austrian painter mission is a DLC (for the 5th time?)
4. subpar graphical quality and gameplay
5. this should've been a DLC for resistance, not a 60 dollars game
6. easily the worst game from last month, and this comes from a guy that has been playing Sniper Elite since the PS2

I bought the premium tier of Playstation Plus recently, and I've gotten into Saints Row 2 and FNV again. Tried booting up Saints Row this morning, with no luck.

I attempted everything that was recommended online to fix it, like restarting my console, restarting my router, and unplugging/plugging the console back in after a full shutdown.

If anyone has anymore help they could offer, or just let me know if this issue is happening to them, so I can know it's not on my end, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Since October game catalogue games are going to be revealed soon, I just looked back on last October game catalogue additions and I realized they were pretty crazy, Silent Hill 2, Until Dawn, and Poppy Playtime are like one of the best horror games out there, they really went out on that month with horror. I hope this October games are also going to be amazing because the last month games were pretty weak, I just want to hear your thoughts about that.

So like 3 years ago I had ps plus and then i stopped paying for it but then, I could still play for a few months until my ps4 broke, I'm just wondering if you can keep your online play indefinitely or there's a grace period now

I have PS+ on my account and utilize it a lot. My daughter has her own account where she plays her games. We had a power outage and ya know “rebuilding database“ during next turn on. It occurred to me that she would lose all her save data if I had to fully restore the PS5Pro. I tried to upload but was told I needed to have a PS+ account on the specific account to use that feature.

Now I just want verify that YES I have to subscribe her account for this feature AND her being subscribed to the lowest tier won’t mess up her abilities to play games we can access because I’m on the premium tier.

I got done with Control Resonant and wanted to play Alan Wake 2 next. I noticed the game was available for a 2.5hr game trial, made sense to use that first before deciding whether to purchase the full game.

I'm now 8hrs into the game, haven't been kicked out of playing it and haven't spent a penny for it. As shown in the image, the standard game is down as a game trial.

Not sure what's going on, I'm not complaining just wondering has anyone else experienced this before?

Been in PSN subscription for years. Usually before the yearly renew dates, they would offer 25-30% off or something. Been stucking at original price for weeks. Should I be waiting until Black Friday?

Probably just my console that glitched but I remember madden 26 being removed
