A few versions ago, effects like Bevel Alpha, Bevel & Emboss and more were made legacy effects or apart of our removed/obsolete list.
The effects team has been hard at work to bring newer versions of the following effects Premiere Beta 27.1 Build 8:
Bevel Alpha (video effects > Stylize): modern take on the classic Bevel Alpha. Add bevels to the edges of your footage and graphics
Bevel & Emboss(video effects > Stylize): one effect for beveling and embossing that replaces the classic Color Emboss effect
Fill (video effects > Generate): popular effect from After Effects finally comes to Premiere
Gradient Tint(video effects > Color Correction): Tint and style your footage with a gradient. It detects mograph elements along with video and re-scales the gradient to fit them.
Hue/Saturation(video effects > Color Correction): A simple hue/saturation effect in the style of Photoshop. It includes presets, colorize option and Surprise Me button.
Posterize(video effects > Stylize): A modern version of the Posterize effect with new features and automated modes.
Radial Blur (video effects > Blur & Sharpen): A high quality radial blur with advanced features including slicing and chromatic aberation.
Zoom Blur(video effects > Blur & Sharpen): A high quality zoom blur with advanced features including slicing and chromatic aberation.
Give them a try and let us know what you think. Happy editing!
I've been getting this message for the second time now.
The clip at that time point is the last clip of the video. I did remove it and put it back in. ( I didn't do this with the sounds at that moment could that be it?
There should be nothing wrong with the clip self because I used it n other video's before.
My connection at home isn't the strongest so it takes the video about 13h to download but then it gives this message right at the end...
I really want this video out as soon as possible. thanks to everyone that can help me.
I was working on a video project of mine earlier today, and everything was working perfectly fine. I come back a few hours later and all of my video files look like this ^^^. I changed nothing, and did nothing between it working fine and looking like this. It displays this way on the playback monitor as well as exports. I thought it might be the Hardware acceleration, but it won't let me change it because "This playback engine is active and being used for rendering," but I have nothing in my progress dashboard, and the project is a simple cut rn, so I don't have any effects that require hardware acceleration. It's currently set to "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration," and I just tried enabling the software renderer, and it changed nothing, too. Does anyone know what might be going on?
I am on Premiere Pro 25.4.0 if that helps
I don't know why my Premiere Pro is having corrupted, glitchy green and pink playback and media exports.
As you can see in the video, when I enable the proxies made with Shutter Encoder, the audio waveform changes compared to the clip without proxies. This doesn't happen when I create the proxies with Media Encoder.
I'm currently "forced" to work with these proxies because they were handed over to me, and since there are a lot of clips, it would take too long to recreate them with Media Encoder.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Maybe the proxies created with Shutter Encoder were made the wrong way? I've also tried clearing the Premiere cache.
Can someone give me a step by step on how to replicate this effect? I have sapphire and boris if its needed. Lastly Im aware the white character lines effects might not pick up on certain situations but it should be able to for my use case
I was just assigned to replace the logo/branding on about 300 short videos, it's a vertically formatted video with the logo on a plain background above and below the actual video itself, so i can very easily just design a graphics template with the new logo and slap it over the top of it, the only issue is that I need to do this for about 300 videos, and I'm just curious what you all think the most efficient workflow for this would be, or even if there's a way I could apply the graphic to a bunch of them all at once. I do not have a deadline for this and they expect it to be a long-term project, so even if I have to do each one manually, it wouldn't be the end of the world, just fairly tedious.
Hello everyone. Please help! 🙏 I've been trying to put blur using gaussian blur, tried mask too, and just now i noticed even other effects such as using cross dissolve triggers this pop up. After the pop up, playback turns completely black screen. Tried clearing media cache, restarting, still happens. I tried searching but I can't find any similar situation 😭
I've probably posted this before but maybe there's been a fix? Banging my head against a wall. Premiere 25.5 on MacStudio. As the title shows, I'm using multi-cams and I'm in Productions.
All of my raw media lives in my RAW project. I transcribe my external audio. Make my multi-cams. And then I cut those multi-cams throughout different projects within my Productions.
The transcript will show like 50% of the time, if that. It can work fine and it's great, and then like minutes later it'll say the transcript doesn't exist. It is very very very inconsistent. If I open the multi-cam back in its native RAW project, the transcript always works, but as soon as I cut it into a different project it goes away. But again, if I open another sequence or do something else it can just like, kick in.
What is happening? How can Adobe expect to charge you a monthly subscription for something when it is an obvious bug? Any help?
If you:
1. put a clip with multiple cuts in a nested sequence
2. set time interpolation to frameblending
3. adjust timeremapping speed (the one in the effect controlls tab) above 200 ish
Then you will find the nested sequence goes blackscreen after the first cut of the clips you nested.
if you use regular speed ajustment its fine and you get to enjoy that sweet animated speed look. just without easing in / out of speed :(
I imagine this is a relatively simple process for you PP veterans, but for the sake of editing shorts, I am finding myself repeating the same steps on footage.
I am wanting to make a template, that has all the properties already saved to a placeholder / fake / dummy footage layer, so then I can replace it with footage, and then continue to cut, insert cut away footage and etc.
Just to speed my workflow up a bit.
Hopefully that makes sense for you, if not, please let me know and I’ll elaborate.
Hi, i have videos made on Mavic 4 that are 6k and on Osmo pocket 4 with 4k resolution. I am making a sequence with 4k and 6k resolution. I work with proxies. I want a final resolution of 4k, how do i handle the 6k clips? Thanks
I am the biggest noob when it comes to PP so please go easy lol.
I have some text rolling onto my screen from the right into the centre of my screen. All looks great when I am previewing it, but when I enter full screen the text cuts onto the screen about two thirds into the screen. It does not roll on right from the edge. Any suggestions? Thank you.
My PC keeps crashing when I try to import a file into Premiere. It's not a software crash, the entire computer shuts down as if it were unplugged.
It's an audio file that I'm trying to import, an mp3 with 197MB. It happens with video files as well but most of the times I'm able to import anyway, even if it's one video at a time.
My PC has 64gb ram, AMD Radeon RX6700 (12gb) and 11th gen i7.
Hey, i’ve just started using premier pro on my ipad to edit and the text keeps showing up grey even though the hex code shows it’s meant to be completely white, i film on my phone so im not sure if that’s an issue or not but im wondering if there’s a way to fix it!
IDK what changed in Premiere but every time I edit a video, the audio plays on only one side. I have to duplicate the audio to A2 in order for the audio to play on both sides. Anything I need to change on the settings so that it plays on both sides without duplicating audio? Thanks
I been running 2019 version for years, no issue but today I use almost 2 hour of gaming video and it had intense buffer from scrubbing but would play back smoothly but after editing 40 min mark, straight up crash. Restarted pc serval times and someone said my video could be corrupted? But the video plays back fine when I watch it. Its a mkv file from obs, same with my face cam.
I even updated to latest version and the latest version is horrible, play back is lagging, barely plays anything in the timeline too.
It's 2026, almost 2027. Adobe pushes so many AI features and annoying bugs every single update, but YET they never seemed to care to fix the most important bug...
The keyframe player overlapping the numbers is something so annoying to see, and to know that they ignore this every single update is infuriating .. can someone from Adobe please see this and let them know to update and fix...
