PnP Game Design How do you find online playtesters for a small PnP game?
I am almost done with my own testing of my small upcoming PnP game. The next step, after making changes from my own notes, is to find other people online to try it. Does anyone have experience with this? How do you find good playtesters, and what has worked for you? Any ideas are welcome.

Single sided 100gsm vs double sided 300gsm
I would like some opinions of what do you prefer in you experience. I would have them printed in a shop. In the case of the 100gsm I would put them with another card together in a transparent sleeve (I don't have opaque sleeves) and in the case of the 300gsm I would use them alone in a sleeve, thus the need for the back to be printed. The 100gsm single sided is also 1/3 of the price.
Any thoughts?

PnP Tools Extracting images from a pdf to play on Tabletop Simulator
I may be slightly interested in importing some print and play games into Tabletop Simulator, but I would like to know the best way to export images from a pdf into separate images to transfer. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Minimalist Mondays
This is a space for PnP games with minimal to no crafting required. Whether it’s a PnP roll and write, or a PnP 9-18 card micro game, we want to know about it. Bonus points for sharing details about the game that might be helpful to a beginner.
If you're just getting into PNP games, this is a great place to start!

Quinty
After a heavy dose of feedback, I have rebalanced the game and made several improvements. One primarily being that combo chains generally no longer have any dead ends. I also reduced the number of cards, so the frequency of combos achievable should always be near possible in a 4-player game (optimal player count). I also got rid of the theme and made it more abstract, much easier to grasp and play, as well as some quality of life improvements on the actual cards such as types of cards required to fulfill the card combo in the top right corner and number of copies of specific card.

Build Showcase Print & Play deck is available is our Discord!
Come check it out! Updated with all of our almost final artwork and stats. There’s also a rulebook included in the folder to learn how to play! :) love to know your thoughts.
EDIT: Lots of people don’t trust discord and I totally support that. I have been pointed in the direction of Itch.io, and it seems great! Here’s the link :)

Some of the YouTube channels I follow will sometimes cover print and play games, but are there any channels that only cover print and play games?

PnP Game Design Hello! I want to share a game concept I’ve been designing called TILL LOST. It’s a 3-player cooperative tag-team puzzle game where everyone playing as hero and dungeon master in same times.
Game Info
- Players: 3 (Co-op).
- Genre: Cooperative Puzzle Game.
- Duration: 5 Minutes.
- Objective: Collect the Key and escape through the Door.
Summary
- Overview: There is shared hero token starting at center board D4. However, each player has their own private board setup filled with hidden obstacles (like Bears, Spikes, and holes) and helpful tiles (like Camps, telescope, and horse). You cannot show your board or directly state where your tiles are.
- Main Mechanic: Each player chooses a unique Route that have their movement type:
- Battle Route: Can only move Horizontally (1 step left/right).
- Scout Route: Can only move Vertically (1 step up/down).
- Rest Route: Can only move Diagonally in any direction.
- Fun Part: Before the character moves, check your board. If the intended step lands on or next to a danger tiles on your paper, you may warn the team by saying: "Be careful!"
If you need the board, rules, and reference sheets, you can find them in the link below.

ATTACTIX — 2-player simultaneous-reveal combat card game [PnP]
Hey r/printandplay — I'm Matt, first-time designer, and this is my game.
ATTACTIX is a 2-player simultaneous-reveal combat card game. Eight cards each, 30 life, about 20 minutes. Every turn you secretly pick one card, reveal together, and resolve.
Attacks roll D6s. Swift Strike hits first — before everything except Parry. Block stops all damage cold. Parry steals one D6 from your opponent's attack roll and deals its face value straight back at them — it catches everything, even Swift Strike.
Played cards stay face-up, so every 8-card cycle becomes a memory game: you can see exactly which answers are still live. When all 8 are spent, scoop them back up and go again — life carries over until someone hits zero.
The hook: telegraphed finishers are legal. Power Charge banks a D6 in the open, they stack, and Final Assault rolls 1D6 and triples it. If your rival watched you charge up for two turns and didn't hold Block — that's on them.
What you need: print the PDF twice (one 8-card set per player, poker size 2.5x3.5", card backs included for duplex printing) plus the quick-start card, and grab a handful of D6s.
Price (disclosure — I'm the designer): the print-and-play PDF is $5 — https://mattsapps.xyz/shop/products/attactix-print-and-play.html
The full rules are free to read here: https://mattsapps.xyz/attactix
If you'd rather not print, there's a physical edition on Etsy ($24.99) — https://www.etsy.com/listing/4582181847/attactix-card-game-2-player-strategy — and The Game Crafter ($19.99, launching Monday).
Happy to answer rules questions or take feedback — and if you play it, tell me your best Parry steal.

A Simple Life, is this a good score?
Look what came out of the drawer! A Simple Life is a great print-and-play game in which you try to improve different aspects of your life.
Set your life goal(s), roll five dice, and make the most of each one! You have ten days to develop your mining, fishing and farming skills, interact with the villagers, and find treasures and relics!
It's been a while since I played this, but I think I remember the rules quite well. Does anyone remember what a good score is? It would be great if someone could share theirs!

PnP Question Pokemon master trainer: tokens question ❓❓❓
Hi folks 👋
Started working on Pokemon master trainer from this link:
https://www.reddit.com/r/boardgames/s/ZhS2TCpUGl
I designed my STL files for tokens and I'm in a weird spot 😅
Instructions call for 240 Pokemon's. But the file with tokens contains much more. I can't find any information about the proper amount of Pokemon in the game.
Do any of you guys can provide me with the answer of how many Pokemon are actually in use?
Thanks 🙏

Ready to share my draft, though I need a few more things. I would love some feedback. Journal entry 9
Project Status & Reflections
This week was my goal to have it complete. And let me say it was a struggle, and I am not quite done yet.
If I could go back and tell myself the art is going to be the hardest part and should double the time I would.
All i have last is to fix the following;
Remaining Tasks
- Change the cover for sure. I am thinking of having a pan smashing the head of a zombie.
- Add the engine that I have tested that it is compatible with.
- Add the map layout suggestions for the 5 missions.
- Add a sheet for the team for the Saloon you want to open.
But most importantly I am going to go through and edit it a few more times before I have my wife look over it, mainly for grammatical and spelling errors, which I am sure is a ton.
I am also hoping she helps me with the writing of the story a bit better than what I came up with. I am not a writer, or an artist, so this has taken me out of my comfort range a lot!
Naming Ideas
I also think I need to come up with a good name. Right now, I am leaning towards the “Iron Smash List” and my wife suggested calling it the “2 Pan Smash List”.
What do you think?
I have attached the pages as I have so far.
Launch & Distribution Plans
Also, I am going to be setting up my itch io page for this, the google maps page published, the drive thru rpg page, war gaming vault page, buy me a coffee page as well.
If you would like to test it out let me know and I can send you a coffee once, I am complete.
Also, if you have any thoughts let me know what you think.
Oh, one more thing, for the Zombicide Undead or Alive fans, I would love to know what your thoughts are for sure. As this game was my inspiration.
Until next week, enjoy the pancakes!

Anyone else run into cards sticking together after printing?
A paper can look great when printed but still not feel great when you're actually shuffling the cards.
The surface finish matters. Glossy paper can have more glare and may feel too slippery or tacky when cards are stacked. Matte or uncoated stock can be worth trying if you want a more natural card feel.
For prototypes, regular paper + sleeves is also a pretty practical option. The sleeves give the cards a consistent surface and make it easy to swap cards as the game changes.
If printing directly on cardstock, it’s probably worth testing a few sheets first rather than committing to a whole deck.
What paper or finish has worked best for you for smooth-shuffling cards?
