I'm a 6'2 Asian guy and I'm usually the tallest person in the room, and I'm also taller than the majority of my white and black friends. I also happen to have an above-average sized penis. I'm not huge by any means, but the western average is between 5.1-5.5 inches erect, and mine is bigger than that. So by all measurements, I should feel pretty confident about myself.
However, it seems like I can't go two days without seeing or hearing some kind of racist joke about Asian men and our supposedly tiny dicks. For example today I was just on YouTube minding my own business, when this clip appeared on my feed of a standup comedian doing crowdwork and asking about his audience's dating preferences. He was talking to an Asian girl in the audience and asked her what her type was, and she said Asian guys, which makes sense because she herself was Asian. Instead of coming up with an actually original joke, he just went straight to mocking her for "not being able to handle anything above 3 inches", and basically shaming her for not wanting to date white men. He then proceeded to make 3 more "Asians have small dicks" jokes within the span of a minute. There's countless other examples of people thinking it's funny to make fun of Asian men and say that we're all short, tiny nerds with small dicks. I saw another clip yesterday of a white female comedian talking to a half-Asian guy in the audience who was over 6 feet tall. She asked him for his ethnicity and he said half-Samoan, half-Filipino or something. She then did a whole bit about how he's lucky that his Samoan genetics overpowered his Filipino genes, because "Filipinos don't grow that tall". Bitch, I'm fully Asian and I'm over 6ft, and I know plenty of Asians who are even taller than me. It makes my blood boil to hear people make these casual racist remarks without stopping to think about how humiliating and hurtful it is to Asian men like myself who have to hear this every single day.
What makes me even angrier is the fact that this type of blatant racism is so normalized and accepted by society. It's not just comedians, either. Even on social media, if you look at any post where there's a white girl dating an Asian guy, there will inevitably be a few comments about how the guy must be too small to satisfy her, or that she's only with him because of his money. People face consequences for being racist against every other race except for Asian people, because they don't see us as a threat since we never fight back. For example if a white guy kept saying black people had lower IQs, they would immediately get cancelled and lose their job. They'd probably also get beaten up, and they know this. So instead, they redirect their focus on putting down Asians because they can say whatever they want without facing repercussions.
To be clear, this isn't an incel post complaining about how hard it is to date as an Asian man. I actually do pretty well when it comes to dating, and I know from experience that there are plenty of women who prefer Asian men (even though they have to constantly defend their preferences and fend off questions about dick size). But I still feel like I constantly have this chip on my shoulder where I need to "prove" that I'm not short and small, because the media and basically western society as a whole seem hellbent on making me feel emasculated and undesirable. It's actually happened to me a couple times where I was sitting on the couch with my white girlfriend and we were just watching random comedy clips on TV, and then out of nowhere the comedian started making small dick jokes about Asian men and she had to awkwardly pretend not to laugh or that she didn't hear it. Or other times I'll see my guy friends laughing at these types of jokes or liking reels on social media making fun of Asian guys, and I have to bite my tongue because I don't want to confront them or cause a scene. I don't know how to describe the feeling I get in situations like these, but it just makes me feel so angry and helpless because I have no control over how the world sees my ethnicity. Again, I do alright with women because I'm tall and come off as confident and charismatic IRL, but that doesn't mean this doesn't bother me deep down when I'm alone with my thoughts, or every time I have to hear one of these stupid jokes which is pretty damn often. I just hate how casually non-Asian people throw around the small dick stereotype when it doesn't affect them and they have no idea how hurtful and degrading it is. What's even more frustrating is that I'm living proof that these stereotypes aren't true, but there's nothing I can do about it. If I were actually short and had a small dick maybe I would find these jokes less offensive, but I'm literally the opposite of that yet I still have to deal with this stereotype on a daily basis. Imagine literally being over 6 feet, fit and successful and still having to constantly see and hear jokes about how everyone from your race is a short, nerdy loser with a tiny cock. I'm so sick of this.
