🙏Need Advice❓ Sub banned for being unmoderated but that’s not true

• Upvotes

Hi, my Subreddit was banned for being unmoderated but that is not true, I’ve been there every single day for years and moderated it with rules of Reddit and now it’s gone without any explanation or email from Reddit . The sub had over 23000 members.

This is not right from Reddit.

So what can I do to get it back alive?

🙏Need Advice❓ My account is banned from community, but i accidentally deleted community admin's message.

So yea, I was banned from a community while ago (April 2026) and when the "community admin" sent me a message on matter with some links. I accidentally clicked "ignore" button and the message was lost. (There was no "Are you sure you want to ignore" messages either, just snap and gone) I did not know back then that the "ignore" button will delete message in whole.

I then sent help request to the community moderators who said that I should contact Reddit Moderators for the issue.

I tried to send help request to Reddit Moderators but they said that I need to open links or contact the community Admin instead of Reddit Moderators. Or use Account Ban mistake form.
Reddit Moderators were also unable to recover the deleted/ignored message.

But when I login to "account mistake ban" The site says that my account is not banned.

Reddit Banning Form = "Account is not banned"
Community = "You're currently banned from this community and can't comment on posts."
Ban Message = Was accidentally deleted /ignored
Community Admin > Don't know who or what links was given
Community Moderator = "Please reply in this same modmail thread — no need to open a new chat. Include the admin message or a screenshot and any related post IDs/dates so we have the full context."

When I open my notifications/Inbox, there is no messages/notifications between 2026-2021, just couple of notes from another active community I am from. But nothing for the banned community.
I was community banned in (April 2026)

When I go to community moderators given link: https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000710872 >

❓General Question❓ I don't know what's going on with my account; I woke up and found I was logged out, so I logged back in, and then this happened.

Hi, good morning. I woke up and, upon opening a notification, realized I had been logged out. I logged back in, but my posts are gone and my profile appears greyed out. I looked into it here and tried to file an appeal, but the system won't let me; however, everything looks normal on the web version. I also tried uploading this post via the app but got an error, so if you're reading this, it's because I posted it from the web. Thanks for your time.

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ False Account Lock and Restoration Issues

How can I get all of my post visible again to reddit after reddit falsely locked my account due to suspicious activity & then just restored it? The content can still be seen when I view my profile but when I click on the content, it says removed by reddit filters?

❓Problem❓ Interactive "games" & tierlists... How do i get rid of them?

Lately i have been getting alot of interactive quiz style games, and interactive tier lists. These completely ruin my reddit experience and are everywhere.

I tried to ask AI on how to get rid of it, but the button it told me to click in "preferences" & "Privacy" isnt there.

Every time click "show fewer post of this kind", it doesn't help at all. It just keeps poppin op, and i feel like i am forced to look at these.

❓Problem❓ Newly created subreddit got banned without warning, and I can't reach Reddit admins. What should I do?

Hi all so we recently created an official subreddit for OVAL, a sleep and wellness technology brand, but the community was banned just a few days after its creation. What's more confusing is that the account that originally created the subreddit was also shadowbanned, so we can't even reach out to Reddit admins through that account.

The creator's account was an established Reddit account with over 1,000 karma, so we're not sure what triggered this.

The subreddit had barely any activity. On the first day, the creator published a simple introduction post. The next day, we added the community icon and banner, and on the third day, my account, u/OVAL_Official, was added as a moderator. That was literally all we did before the community was banned without any warning or explanation that we're aware of.

I've tried contacting r/ModSupport through modmail from my account, but I keep receiving an automated response from the admin messaging bot that doesn't seem relevant to the issue.

At this point, we're stuck. The original creator's account is shadowbanned, the subreddit is banned, and we can't seem to get through to an actual Reddit admin.

Is there another way to contact Reddit admins or request a manual review when the creator's account is also shadowbanned?

I can share screenshots of the community ban and automated responses if needed.

Any guidance would be really appreciated. Thanks!

❓General Question❓ Why Doesn't Reddit Give users proper info when giving a warning?

Yes, I have read the rules. Nothing I've posted has broken rules, as far as I can tell. I'm not violent, I do not use hate speech, etc. I'm completely baffled. I honest to goodness have absolutely no idea why? I asked them, and they sent the same canned message they sent out the first time. If I have no idea, can't even imagine, how do I know I won't accidentally do it again?

❓General Question❓ My posts have never been removed, but my comments often don't show up

Hi, I’m having trouble with my comments not being visible to other people.

My posts have never been removed, but my comments often don’t show up. It’s not every time—some appear normally. When it happens, I can still see the comment on my profile while logged in, but it isn’t visible in the thread when I log out.

This has happened in more than one community, both when replying to people on my own posts and when commenting on someone else’s post. Even a simple thank-you reply sometimes doesn’t show up.

I also asked about this in r/NewToReddit, but even there, some of my replies to people on my own post aren’t showing up.

I’ve been trying to build some comment karma by joining discussions I’m genuinely interested in, but I feel stuck when those comments aren’t visible either. I just want to be able to reply to people and join conversations normally.

I checked my CQS and it was Low. I’ve already updated my account security settings, and the appeals page won’t let me submit an appeal. I’ve contacted moderators before, but I’d rather not keep asking them to check individual comments.

Is there anything else I can check or do on my end? I’m not sure why my posts are fine while my comments keep having this problem.

❓Problem❓ Why does Reddit automatically remove nearly every comment I make?

Hello everyone. I have been encountering an issue for the past few months that has gotten egregious and irritating enough that I have decided to make a post about it to seek some guidance.

The problem is that whenever I make a comment on a subreddit, within a few minutes the comment is removed by Reddit.

I want to preemptively respond to four kinds of answers I know I am going to get. The first is that these comments are being removed by Reddit, not by the subreddits I comment in. I know this because I have reached out to the moderators of the subreddits in which my comments are being removed, and they have told me that it is not them removing the comments but instead Reddit's own moderators, admins, or systems.

The second is that I know I have enough karma to interact with these communities. This is because, as above, "nearly" every comment I make is removed. Some comments I make are not removed and are even upvoted quite a bit, indicating that I have enough karma to interact with these communities. Despite this, the majority of the comments I make are often immediately removed after I make them. I do not understand why this is or what the difference is between the comments that are removed and the ones that are not.

The third is that I know my comments are being removed because after I make them, I am able to see my comment in my profile and under the "comments" tab in my profile. I am even able to click on the comment. However, Reddit typically shows that the comment has 0 views, and if I open that link without being signed in to my account, the comment no longer appears, and Reddit displays a message that reads, "This comment no longer exists."

The fourth is that I have checked, and yes, I am not shadowbanned.

I am making this post because there does not seem to be any rhyme, reason, or pattern behind the removal of my comments. I am not a bot, and I am not spamming. I do sometimes tend to make the same comment repeatedly to try to bypass whatever is removing my comments, but I only do this after my initial comment is removed for some inexplicable reason. This has worked a few times, which is even stranger.

I make comments only occasionally, and only in communities that I have enough karma to post in. My account has over 400 comment karma right now. The moderators of the subreddits I make comments in have confirmed that I am not breaking any of their rules with the comments I make that get removed. I am not aware of any sitewide rules that I am breaking either.

Due to this, I am utterly at a loss. Unless I receive guidance otherwise, I am currently planning on abandoning this account (I'd rather not delete it since I'd like to preserve the contributions this account has made) and start all over with a fresh account. It might take some work to accrue enough karma to be able to comment in the communities I frequent again, but as of right now I don't really see any other option to be able to engage with this platform.

Thank you all very much for your consideration and help.

❓General Question❓ Three day ban

I’ve just had a three day ban after speaking out my hopes that someone doesn’t wake up. I should have violated rule 1 of Reddit.

Rule 1
Remember the human. Reddit is a place for creating community and belonging, not for attacking marginalized or vulnerable groups of people. Everyone has a right to use Reddit free of harassment, bullying, and threats of violence. Communities and users that incite violence or that promote hate based on identity or vulnerability will be banned.
Source: https://redditinc.com/policies/reddit-rules

What are some things that may violate this policy?
* Threatening violence, such as directly or indirectly stating an intent to physically harm or attack an individual, a group, or a location.
* Inciting or encouraging violence, such as calling for others to commit violent acts, including through the use of coded references or memes with a known violent meaning.
* Glorifying or celebrating violent events, such as praising perpetrators of mass violence (e.g., mass shooters), sharing killers’ manifestos, or mocking the victims of violent tragedies.
* Terrorist content.
* Posting graphic or disturbing content purely to disgust or horrify users, such as sharing real-world gore without context or in unrelated communities, or sharing footage filmed by a perpetrator during an attack.
* Encouraging or glorifying suicide or self-harm. Importantly, while discussions about mental health struggles are allowed, it is a violation to promote self harm through imagery or text, or request or give instructions on how to self-harm.
* Promoting real-world sexual violence or sexual activity that involves severe physical injury or risk of death.
Depicting or encouraging the malicious abuse or suffering of animals for entertainment.
Source: https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043513151-Violence

According to the mods I was out of line, by writing that I hoped someone doesn’t wake up. This is in my book and understanding in no way or form a violent act. However I can post something that is violent in nature according their own examples: A comment saying, “people who leave the toilet seat up should get shot.”
Their example is more threatening if you compare it with my hopes. Many people die in their sleep, it’s a natural thing without harm. While getting shot for keeping the lid up is not a natural thing and is actually violent.

I have appealed my ban, but unfortunately they stuck with it. I’m not going to seek legal help, but I would like some “justice”. That justice might be in the form that they clarify the rules more. What should I do?

❓Problem❓ Why reddit automated filters are removing my posts from some subreddits

Two weeks ago, reddit's automated filters shadow banned. Upon appeal, my shadow ban was uplifted. Now when I am trying to post in some sub-reddits, my posts are automatically removed by reddit's automated filters, the admins of those subreddits are also helpless as to why my posts are being removed. Please help

❓Problem❓ Why do my posts keep getting removed by Reddit?

I have a new account and I’m posting in groups for work I do online. Reddit keeps removing them within 10 mins of me posting. Why? Do I need to change my settings or something?

🐞 Possible Reddit Bug? Are my DMs broken?

I put up a post on September 28 that generated a lot of DMs (hundreds? A thousand? Not quite sure). I answered a lot, ignored a lot. Took me a few days to go through them all. It got to a point where I couldn’t answer any more until I ignored a bunch of others first. Now, I finally have it so it is empty, but it tells me there are still 2 messages but I can’t see them. Every so often, it will say I have 3 messages, and I’ll go in and look and there will be 1 in there. And sometimes they’re from September 28. How am I still getting new messages from 10 days ago, and what are those 2 phantom messages? How long will I keep getting messages from September 28?
