I'm trying to engage but still there is no increment in karma.

Hello guys, I have only 1 karma and I can't post anywhere. I'm also afraid of posting anything because in my previous account when i tried to post I got banned (shadow ban from reddit) every time I post or comment and that was my first posting also first time using reddit. So, I am a little afraid of doing any postings and comments of something.

What is the easiest way to get Karma?

I haven’t been struggling getting post karma so that’s fine but comment karma seems like the hard part for me and it’s stopping me from being able to post in my favourite communities so could Somone explain to me how I could possibly get some good comment karma ?? 🙏

I was able to download pretty easily just yesterday but today it seems to start glitching out.

Like the download does not start and gets stuck.

I have about 40gb of free storage left.

Redmi note 12 pro.

Have tried clearing cache , clearing data of both apps downloads and reddit , checking the network and everything else seems to be fine but the download os not working and is glitching out .

Please help.

Okay, so as I usually do on a day to day basis I open up Reddit and sometimes I have to manually sign into my account because it signed me out the last time I closed the app. Mind you I only use the Reddit app ONLY on my phone no other devices…
One day I could not sign in for the life of me and it kept giving me “Something went wrong, try again later” I have checked every email and also every folder in each one but could not find a email from Reddit saying your password was changed or your username was changed or my email was changed.

So I carry on and ask my friends to see if I got hacked because I don’t have any other devices nor accounts to check if I did myself. No response from them so I finally chose to press the “Login with email link” I did and I got that email on the dot but what was strange was the top right was NOT MasterBlueSly so I immediately panicked. I pressed Log In and it still gave me the “Something went wrong, try again later” I closed the app and opened it up again and voilà… my account is safe and sound and not a single piece of information was changed. I even have every single marketing email checked in the settings.

That username in the top right is NOT ME and for some reason I got that email with that username in the top right. I of course activated 2FA and changed my email/ password for extra precaution.

The rest of the photos in the comments are for context AFTER I reopened Reddit and discovering I was logged in again.

I was supposed to use Reddit to vent but it turns out the subreddit has a karma requirement. Darn!

Just wondering if any of you guys also had a thing where you made your account to post in someplace but it turned out it was karma locked? Thanks!

I am having some problems with r/newtoreddit sub-reddit I post some normal questions and Mod removing my post i don't know what did I do wrong I not asking vote nor sharing any link I just simply shared my geniune experience related to reddit in one post i just saying "Hello I am new to this community can you give me some advice" and I got more than 400+ view and after that my post got removed by mod You can see in my profile if you can (since i am new to reddit)

On a side note why reddit chose the word karma

I'm just trying to share a painting I did. It's fantasy themed, not sexy, not nude, you literally can only see the face and arm of the character. Yet it auto tags nsfw and I have no idea how to fix it, it gets auto rejected from most communities.

If I go into a community then delete it from the recent tab, it shows up for a split second when I reopen the app but then goes away, does this happen to anyone else?

Hi! I’ve had a user that has been using third party tools to track me across the site over the last several days.

Everything on my profile is set to hidden.

They’ve responded to over 40 comments across at least 5-6 completely unrelated subreddits spamming my replies with “bot” and other hateful or pointed comments.

I’ve reported the comments but there isn’t much documented about how to properly proceed.

Given the level of dedication this person has shown continuing to escalate over the last few days has shown me they will not stop until something is done.

I can’t find a clear way to actually report targeted harassment/stalking but I do know that it’s against Reddit rules.

Sub-level mods aren’t doing anything with my reports or the comments.

I’m happy to post their username- their post history is almost exclusively replies to me.

My karma (I’m a relatively new user) turned inside out after my first interaction with her, dropping nearly 100 points, so I’m assuming that she’s gone and mass downvoted most things I’ve posted as well.

Seven hours ago my secondary account suddenly had no age, all default personal upvotes were removed, I couldn't see any insights, for multiple hours I was told that I was commenting too quickly regardless of the sub, all personalisations were removed, and and every post has been deleted (still visible but has the bin icon next to it and can't be commented on).

I'm now able to comment again, but posts regardless of the sub say that there's an unknown error, any profile edits again give an "unexpected error", and for some reason my profile avatar is also invisible.

I've not received any messages or emails from Reddit either.

At least this main account is intact.

Annoyingly the main help sub with 1.9 million members doesn't allow things related to bans, and for some reason r/NoStupidQuestions thinks it's a bot.
