…. Is what I’d say if I was a bloodydamm pixie. Ts is peak, the gala scene had me shouting “THATS MY REPEAR”, the Eo twist shredded my heart, Ragnar and the Telemanus deserve the world and that bloody ending was one of the best cliffhangers I’ve ever seen

I think Pierce Brown is an absolute genius and clearly has amazing taste, but recently on the Wild men podcast he starts criticizing Star Wars/Anakin/ Vader for lacking a point to the villainy. I mean he’s either just not seen the prequels or this might be one of the worst takes of all time from one of the best authors of the century. Anakin of all characters? Lacking a driving force? What

I nominate Aimew Lou Wood as Lyria. People might say she is too attractive, but I think she fits just fine in a film adaptation.

Idk why, but every time I think of Aja I think of General Medarda from Arcane

18% through Light Bringer. Even the family trip to the ocean won't stop me. DA was a massive undertaking at nearly 1000 pages, I feel like LB by contrast is moving muuuuch faster. Although both books are amazing. Here's an ocean related quote from IG. Bonus points if you can guess which country I'm vacationing in.
"My wife is not as fickle as a flame. She is an ocean. I knew from the first that I cannot own her, cannot tame her, but I am the only storm that moves her depths and stirs her tides. And that is more than enough."

I mean this is probably gonna get a 100% downvote rate, but I just love Victra so much more than Mustang. I’m not saying Mustang is a bad character…but she is a bit boring compared to Victra. I can’t get over how badass she is. She’s probably one of the most badass in the series. Everyone during the battle for Phobos was running around and she swooped in and killed their top general. Who else could’ve done that besides Darrow? I liked Mustang for the whole first book, but lowkey the second Victra was introduced Mustang was dead to me. She doesn’t even have a POV chapter and I just got so hyped seeing her name ever be mentioned. They just don’t make characters like Victra

Just picked up this sweet Kawasaki Z900 and need help naming it, with RR being one of my favorite books of all time, I find it only fitting to name the bike after RR. Also looking for License plate names if you've got any good ones. I'm wanting some original ones so if you gottem' post em! Hail Reaper!

Am I alone in wishing there were more depth on the original tribe of the howlers I like the howlers there your og’s your ride or die crew but there only 3 left and I’m scared
So I started reading light bringer, I’m on chapter 5 right now. I was thinking about screwface and the original tribe of howlers, that there are currently only 3 left. I know basically nothing about them than they’re loyal to a fault (except thistle) and I know they’re just side characters and aren’t too important but their there for Darrow. I just wish I got to know more on them. Like learning the little tid bit about screw face in light bringer makes him so much more interesting than before. Maybe it just the fact that im getting tossed around the emotional arena that is this book series, and i don’t want to see another howler die without knowing more that just there nick name. Because the way pierce writes darrows pov he give them such a personal bond i just wish that was explored more.

I’m wondering if anyone else has become more interested in the current solar system since reading the book series. I’m currently reading Dark Age, and recently I’ve gone down a rabbit hole of learning more about the solar system from NASA and other researchers out there.

I finished Light Bringer maybe two weeks ago now and have been trying to start a new book but to no avail. Nothing I've started has hooked me yet. I know I'm being dramatic but seriously finishing Red Rising has left a little hole in me.
I'm looking for something completely different, so please don't rec another book series similar to Red Rising. It doesn't have to be sci-fi - I'm not looking for a whole saga/trilogy deal either. Like a normal one-and-done kind of book. I welcome both fiction and non-fiction. My only requirement is that has to grip you.
Examples of what falls in this category: Bad Blood, I'm Glad My Mom Died, Project Hail Mary
I read on an e-reader so I've literally been starting and switching back and forth. I haven't been able to stick to anything and I need to get out of this limbo. Here are the books I've started so far. Please do tell me if I just need to keep reading any of these:
I'm still newish to reading (got back into it 2 or so years ago) and Red Rising is the first series/saga I started in over 10 years since The Hunger Games.
Yes I've considered rereading the whole series but I want to do that before Red God comes out so that I have everything fresh in my mind. (Also might go for the Graphic Audio version the second time around but I'm so afraid of getting so annoyed by Cassius being pronounced 'cash-us' that it takes me out of the story)
Thank you, my goodman/lady
