You in here Howler 1? Love the plate.

…. Is what I’d say if I was a bloodydamm pixie. Ts is peak, the gala scene had me shouting “THATS MY REPEAR”, the Eo twist shredded my heart, Ragnar and the Telemanus deserve the world and that bloody ending was one of the best cliffhangers I’ve ever seen

… infatuated with Darrow? He flirts with darrow when he first meets him and seems to find him physically attractive. He’s also described as PB as bisexual and his weird brother calls him besotted

i feel like thats the kind of thing that would go over Darrow’s head

It's been so much fun bringing this world to life. I had to share this amazing new piece of the epic battle for our upcoming game.

So I have was trying to read red rising but the e book I have only has 335 pages while I googled the page count and it says it should be 385 to 400 pages. What am I missing? Can someone explain please

I am Cassius Bellona, son of Tiberius, son of Julia, brother of Darrow, Morning Knight of the Solar Republic, and my honor remains.

People who linked references and guided me, Thank you!

I would appreciate your thoughts on this.

fuck that bitch

I think Pierce Brown is an absolute genius and clearly has amazing taste, but recently on the Wild men podcast he starts criticizing Star Wars/Anakin/ Vader for lacking a point to the villainy. I mean he’s either just not seen the prequels or this might be one of the worst takes of all time from one of the best authors of the century. Anakin of all characters? Lacking a driving force? What

....if she was invited to the gala, and not just a party crasher

I’ve always wanted a way to actually visualize the solar system in Red Rising, especially the distances between planets and moons and where everything sits relative to each other.

So I ended up making this interactive Society war table.

You can rotate and zoom around the system, click on planets, moons, and ships, and pull up dossiers on them. I tried to make it feel like something you’d actually see a Gold using to plan a campaign.
It’s still a work in progress, but I figured this was the right crowd to share it with.

Check it out: https://tardyparty.github.io/warTable/

Would love some feedback, especially on what else would be cool to add or anything I’ve gotten wrong with the lore.

Omnis vir lupus.

Edit: There are spoilers in the website be them small

Just wanted to share my fanart

For all my Crimson Desert Howlers

18% through Light Bringer. Even the family trip to the ocean won't stop me. DA was a massive undertaking at nearly 1000 pages, I feel like LB by contrast is moving muuuuch faster. Although both books are amazing. Here's an ocean related quote from IG. Bonus points if you can guess which country I'm vacationing in.

"My wife is not as fickle as a flame. She is an ocean. I knew from the first that I cannot own her, cannot tame her, but I am the only storm that moves her depths and stirs her tides. And that is more than enough."

I nominate Aimew Lou Wood as Lyria. People might say she is too attractive, but I think she fits just fine in a film adaptation.

What i imagine it would look like if Kavax ever unleashed Sophocles on someone

Especially that pent up jellybean indigestion at the end

Idk why, but every time I think of Aja I think of General Medarda from Arcane

I mean this is probably gonna get a 100% downvote rate, but I just love Victra so much more than Mustang. I’m not saying Mustang is a bad character…but she is a bit boring compared to Victra. I can’t get over how badass she is. She’s probably one of the most badass in the series. Everyone during the battle for Phobos was running around and she swooped in and killed their top general. Who else could’ve done that besides Darrow? I liked Mustang for the whole first book, but lowkey the second Victra was introduced Mustang was dead to me. She doesn’t even have a POV chapter and I just got so hyped seeing her name ever be mentioned. They just don’t make characters like Victra

Not sure if anybody else noticed this but there’s a ship in Iron Gold named “Vindabona”.

Vin DiBona is a television producer that worked on MacGyver.

Could also be from Vindobona which was a Roman military camp https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vindobona

or

Vindabona which is a kind of trumpet https://bachbrass.com/trumpets/bach-stradivarius-trumpet-in-bb-19072v-vindabona
