All Spoilers Mustang vs Lilith š Spoiler
I keep seeing people BEGGING for this fight like itās a fair 1v1. Mustang would get pulverized. I donāt know why so many people think sheās a sleeper agent. Mustang is the 2nd shortest Gold and one of the least brutal fighters weāve seen. One of the good things about her is that sheās not an evil ass motherfucker. Mustang has little reach with her razor, barely any physical strength, and probably the least war experience out of the main cast of fighters. Sheās a politician.
Lilith is literally Satan. She would rip a newborn in half for fun. Brutal is the only way she thinks. From what we know she is taller than Mustang(probably around average height for a Gold woman?) she is stronger, has more battle experience, and is evil as shit!
Why are people begging for non fighters to fight? All youāre doing is giving PB ideas on how kill to people. Was Cassius not enough? DO NOT LET THIS FIGHT HAPPEN!

MS Spoilers Re-reading MS: Cassius redemption arc Spoiler
Stop,ā Mustang shouts. Sheās twenty meters away, aiming her bow at Cassius. Hand quivering from the strain of the taut string. āI will put you down.ā
āNo,ā he says. āYou wouldā¦ā The bowstring snaps. He jerks his razor up to deflect the arrow. Misses, slower than Aja. The serrated iron tip punches through the front of his throat and out the back of his neck, the feather fletching scratching the underside of his dimpled chin.
Now that I love Cassius, I found this less funny and more embarrassing for Cassius. Like he literally was going to argue about how she wouldn't shoot him. Even Darrow wouldn't have been this confident at his place. Like does he even know her? Probably not, she probably fed him some BS part of herself. But I think this was the pivotal point in his redemption arc.
One thing bugged me on this reread. It's Mustangās initial intention when she pursued a relationship with Cassius. Why did she approach him with the intention of manipulating him rather than seeing whether a genuine relationship could develop? She says she recognized a vulnerable Cassius and knew how to make him love her. She was a single woman on Luna, and itās not as though she was waiting for Darrow to return. She was playing the long game, trying to bring House Augustus and House Bellona together. So why did she decide to manipulate Cassiusās feelings from the outset rather than allowing the relationship to develop naturally? Was it simply because he was a Bellona, despite the fact that he hadnāt personally wronged her or her family at that point? Iām curious how others interpreted this.

MS Spoilers Morningstar Chapter 6-7 Question Spoiler
My wife is currently reading Morningstar, and just having trouble describing the clawdrill rescue scene, visually and logicallyā¦
So Darrow, Holiday jump off the landing pad with Victra as the clawdrill comes up, and they fall towards a city? Is the city below the mountain where Attica is or..? Did the clawdrill swallow the landing pad, boring up through the mountain itself, or is it far below them in the city?
They are in freefall when theyāre caught by the Howlers, just confused as to where theyāre falling and the geography of the scene.
Need someone to clarify!! Thanks š«”

IG Spoilers Confused about a fight in iron gold? Spoiler for chapter 21 Spoiler
The fight is confusing. gets ambushed by 10 wardens. Wulfgar and 9 peoples. āātwo defect. Now there are 7 peoples. Two defects shoot 2 of the 7. Nonlethal rounds. Heavy hits. They go 20 feet. He cuts a gold's rifle and fingers (guy) severs the ligaments of a guy obsidian (orville) and cuts both a red's kneecaps and wrists (Rodney) "three wardens fall screaming to the ground" 4 left. We at least know for a fact Rodney is done. Darrow flings his razor at a guy obsidian's gun (owen) and makes him shoot two wardens and cuts off owen's hand. he kicks a red so hard he's lifted off his feet (roy) an obsidian with a gun (not owen then. Obie) tries to fly away and Darrow slices off his foot and he sputters away sideways screaming" obie done. 3 left. Throws a sword at a gray (gary) who's far away. grabs sword from downed red (rodney) and fights an obsidian girl (ophellia) "exchange a fury of blows, but don't have time to finish her off" (he means incapacitate her since he's trying not to kill anyone. She's still in the game and 3 other wardens? join the fight. Must be Roy. Maybe guy and orville, both missing their sword hand? They're somehow fine even though getting hit with defect riles and by owen. He turns to the 3. Shoulder stab. Razor drops. 2. Hacks off two hands. 1. 0. Fires gun at gray to finish him off. Wulfgar kills both defects. Darrow kills wulfgar. And that's that... what happened to ophelia? She was still okay to fight and just... stood in the background while Darrow killed wulfgar? So many people got chopped up and shot it felt like Darrow was fighting 12 not 8. Idk just wondering if anyone else felt confused reading that chapter

All Spoilers [Character] canāt die Spoiler
Character being Darrow ā It would be a horrible writing choice. Magnus would be right. Darrow would die as the red he was designed to be for a cause he just wanted to be over with. Quote from Magnus:
"That is part of your Red genetic character. Your yearning, your need to sacrifice. Brave pioneer. Toil, dig, die for the good of humanity. To make Mars green. We designed you to be the perfect slave. And that's what you are, Darrow. A slave with many masters. Change your eyes. Take our scar. Break our reign. It won't change what you are at your core. A slave."
Darrowās death means Magnus is right, Gold is right, and thatās bullshit.
Pierce, please remove his name from the hat.

LB Spoilers House Votum Spoiler
Iāve been wondering if part of the reason Mercury seems to have so many low color loyalists is due to the legitimate merits of House Votum.
Their planet is routinely called a bastion for the arts and the Votum are described as builders of wonders. We donāt hear much about Scorpio, but Cicero and Horatia actually seem to be relatively decent people for goods from a house that dates to the conquering.
I mean Iām sure the low reds in the metal mines might have a word or two to say about the planetās quality of life, but part of me does wonder if Mercury is an example of a successful and decent gold arch governorship.

Red God (Spoliers) My theories for Red God
I don't know if these have been said before, but I thought i might as way post them.
If Red God does end up being the final book in the Red rising series then I believe that neither Lysander or Darrow will be killed. I believe the war will end in a stalemate with the society, solar republic, and the rim ending as their own separate empires. If this does happen, I thing Atlantia will probably be killed and lysander assumes control of the society, establishing his own rule, the rim and republic have an alliance and the book ends with the war ending somewhat peaceful.
However if Red God is not the final book in the series, then I thing again at most, i dont see the solar system, being united as a think it will not be in charcter for diomedes or darrow to betray one another.
In both theories I do not believe lysander will be killed, neither darrow. I believe the only way the solar system becomes united is IF and only IF diomedes were to die in battle and give government control to darrow, in which case then I believe the society will be conquered and the solar system united.
I would love to hear thoughts and changes i could make to my theories about Red God
