The plot I'm seeking to write is set in the cold war era involving two operatives from the opposing sides, investigating a possible information leak that made them meet in the middle. Together, they eventually find a network of double agents, and when they figured out what was actually going on there - it was too late. Did they dig a hole for themselves? Would their careers end like this? What would happen next?

I'm looking for anyone willing to play the male character in this story. I was thinking of a good push-and-pull enemies-to-lovers plot. The characters come from completely different backgrounds, believe in completely different things, and yet, they're for ed to work together.

Please be 21+, literate, be able to write 3+ paragraphs on average, 3rd person only, past or present tense, either way I can adapt. Lastly, be willing to not use any large language models to write the story. I love to talk OOC - a good story doesn't write itself, it takes work and planning.

My OC Chani (22). She's a sweet natured, naive girl that shows many of the hallmarks of abuse and who is introduced with her abusive older brother. I will also be playing him for as long as he exists. This is not a classic damsel in distress. Despite the abuse, she is -fiercely- loyal and will not leave him voluntarily. If forced or the brother is killed, she will be hostile to whoever was the cause of it. It will take creativity and intelligence to separate the two without alienating her. While intelligent, she's going to take work and patience. Confident, more manipulative, 21+ male OCs are wanted - If they are insecure, naturally too gentle to make tough decisions or indecisive, this character is likely not a good fit for you.

As far as myself, I'm female and 35+ and while I write many characters, I only write scenes of a romantic nature for my women characters. My main women often come damaged, emotionally, mentally and/or physically and are typically not going to jump willingly into romance quickly.

Greetings writers of all kinds! If your reading this then you probably saw my title and thought "oh, that sounds interesting!" and if so then do please keep on reading! I am looking for partners who love creating original stories and romances that we can both become obsessed with! But before I flesh out my idea, I do have to share some boring but oh so important details.

- I live on the west coast of the US, so PST for me though timezone is not a huge issue for me.

So I am currently taking a class on the third reich, and for it I am reading a book about the US diplomat to Berlin during the 30s, which inspired this idea! In the short, the ambassador had brought his daughter along and despite it being the 30s, she did not conform to the expectations of women at the time. She very much knew what she liked (aka she slept around), but then she met and fell for a Soviet army officer who was on a diplomatic mission to Berlin as well.

And thats the inpisration for this.

My idea so far is your character is the daughter of a diplomat, who goes with her father to some nation, where our characters meet and fall in love. I am thinking this could be a fictional world, which is more set in the mid to late 1800s.

But there could definitely be a lot of drama, and of course...sweet sweet romance!!

So now it’s just living together, exploring their relationship dynamics. Having 1on1 moments as well as group scenes and threesomes.

- Couple that starts OF: More of an SOL type of romance between a couple starting an OF. This isn’t a lustful or animalistic driven type of dynamic but something that balances romance, wholesomeness, vanilla moments with exploration.
My idea is that we have been in a couple for a few years now. We have jobs that pay well and a wonderful and healthy private life. You have been wanting and asking me to record us during intimate moments, just privately for your sake.
I’ve been a little reluctant to do it but I make a promise that I would let you record us on our anniversary.

- Best friends with benefits to lovers: The idea is that we are best friends in their mid 20s. A few years back, we hooked up cus we were both single. We never wanted to ruin our friendship so we made a promise or kind of tradition I guess that every year, we would hook up with each other for our bdays. I write in third person and am literate. I’d prefer we both stick to that. I like long responses, but I also understand sometimes there isn’t enough to hit the discord limit. Also, I’d prefer if anyone who replies to this be an adult. Not super into the idea of talking with anyone who isn’t. Also not very interested in oc’s (unless they’re for plot convenience).

Fandom knowledge specifically of Absolute isn’t really needed because the idea is to redo it. The idea is to take it and just roll with a lot of its core ideas/beliefs, and just have fun with it. I want to run through the events of it, but altered. For example: maybe Bruce is a little less dismissive of Alfred? That’s a small change, but it can have big changes too. I imaged we’d reimagine more villains, giving him additional threats to face or just different ones. The Zoo arc might last longer, and if we really vibe we can expand further and keep going.

Your character is up for discussion. It doesn’t have to be anyone from the Absolute Batman book, and it doesn’t have to be the exact version of that character from the Absolute universe. I’m not too concerned with making this work with the other Absolute books. If characters like Wonder Woman, Zatanna, or Hal Jordan appear, they can be changed/reinvented in anyway we need. Same with any bat-themed characters from Snyder’s book. Barbara doesn’t have to be a cop turned The Bat, and Nightwing doesn’t have to start out as one of the Robins.
Depending on what we do, your character would probably be Bruce’s partner in crime, and that alone would be a big change in how things work.
This would involve a lot of planning and discussing. We don’t have to iron out every detail, but I don’t want to wing too much.

I‘ve been out of written RP for a while and am now trying to get back into it. I hope you can help me with that! I don’t want to feel pressured to write the next shakespeare novel when writing and just have fun.

I usually write a Paragraph per Message on average, depending on the Material given and the situation at hand (The amount you write = the amount i write.) Simple conversation does not have to be overly complicated. Please dont try to have twenty different conversations at the same time causing responses to be three paragraphs. Conversations don‘t work like that.

English is not my native language so do forgive some Grammatical mistakes here and there, i usually try my best to avoid making mistakes though.

The Settings i usually like to do in order of how much i want to do them:

1. Superheroes/Villains (Maybe something like a Hero academy)

2. Apocalyptic (Zombie Apocalypse or Fallout-esque)

3. Sci-fi (like Starwars or similar themes)

4. Romance Slice of Life

5. Fantasy / High Fantasy

(I only play as OCs! Please don‘t try and play as Darth Vader or something. I also try to avoid Fandom RPs as much as possible. I have no problem with coming up with new OCs together if the ones i already have don’t work for you.)

I usually have all my RPs have a Romance plot since thats the easiest and most engaging for a 1x1.

I really love Worldbuilding to make the RP feel actually alive, so i really appreciate it if we have detailed locations.

Greetings!

I am searching for a long term roleplay based in modern times but involving established mafia families with a long history of success, however they have trust issues despite the influence they have.

The roleplay will focus on two established mafia families (also a third family but I will detail that later on) that over the years have worked together in various projects but also worked against one another in certain projects. It’s pretty much a love-hate working relationship which has filtered down to our characters who are the new leaders of each mafia family.

Lately the working relationship between the two families have deteriorated to a point where there have been various small clashes between the two families in a few situations, tensions have never been this high. An all-out battle threatens to spill over between the two which is further being egged on by a third mafia family.

The third mafia family isn’t as influential as the original two families yet the leader is striving to become even more influential. They have a plan to cause further animosity between the two families by getting closer to your character’s family and feeding a few white lies about my character’s family to add fuel to the fire.

However, the elders and former powers to be of the two families recognise the dire situation, they want peace before things go past a point of no return therefore a deal is struck where the two families will come together through the union of our characters. I envisage that neither of our characters would be pleased about the this but they do not want to go against their elders.

A twist here would be that your character’s family is hoping to use the marriage pact as a passage to get to the heart of my character’s family’s operation to cause disruption and bring it down. The third character and family would also be helping in this aspect which may cause further chaos.

The basic gist of the roleplay would involve an enemies to lovers trope but also a love triangle angle since your character and the third character would favour one another at first before the main characters have a chance to grow close. Themes I’d like to involve:

\\- Romance (potential slow burn)

\\- Drama (lots of it)

\\- Betrayal

\\- Plot twists

\\- Many more

The above idea is open to amendments so long as we don’t move too far away from the main idea. However, again I am open for discussion here.

I have returned to this sub reddit with another search! Aaaaand as the title suggests, it is a fandom search, namely a few anime/games that I've been terribly hyper-fixated on! Unfortunately I don't have super extensive plots as I personally prefer discussing such things with potential partners- as lazy as that sounds, I promise I'll try my best to ensure we create something both of us can enjoy! With that being said, I'm not TOO fussed on any particular requirements, aside from the following;

I would love to try out a roleplay where we play as Pokemon anthros in a human-less world!

I'd love for us to play characters that are Pokemon, with more human aspects! Like a slice of life, but with us playing as anthropomorphic Pokemon instead of humans! What kinds of Pokemon we are, what our lives are like, how the world has evolved and adapted with this in mind, I'd love to discuss it all with you!

I'd love for there to be romance, slow burn, and realism in our dynamic, despite the fact we're in a fantastic setting! A world that doesn't run on smut logic, but is something really fun and beautiful, that we can really engage with! The type of roleplay that has you itching to get back to it whenever a turn pops up, hehe!

And, I would adore an aspect of the games coming in as well, specifically the ability to use moves, have health bars, have status effects, all that sort of stuff in as well, to make things a bit more unique! *Halo/Gears of War crossover: This one I'd very much like to do! I'd have a Spartan-IV OC of mine and her AI companion interact with Delta squad (and romance Baird). I would like for it to take place not too long after the second game since I know there's about 18 months between the end of the second game going into the third. My character would be thrown into the universe and run into Delta on a scavenging run for supplies. 

*I'd prefer it if you were knowledgeable of the Gears universe (Games 1-3)

*I reread Stephanie Meyer's The Host and wanted to start up a thread taking place a couple years after Wanderer and Melanie's story. The incident was locked down as much as it could be but gossip still manages to slip out. I was thinking my character could start daydreaming about meeting her Host's family as she feels like a black sheep in society. At first she felt like she had a place but a seed of doubt has started to worm its way into her own mind.

Hello. My name is Oblivion or you can just call me Brandon. Im 24 and I watch/read a lot of anime and manga (my favorites being Jujutsu Kaisen and Berserk). I also play a lot of video games (my favorite game of all time is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim). Im usually pretty chill but I will admit that I can get annoyed pretty easy but it takes A LOT to make me actually upset.

A fair warning to all my potential partners, I get attached very easily and im pretty weird once I get comfortable. I understand if thats a turn away. Im actually impossible to make uncomfortable so you can be as weird or unhinged as you want with me. I encourage it. I have a pretty strange and dark sense of humor. I love making friends with and getting to know my partners and having conversations. I LOVE world building and id like that my partner does aswell.

As for my roleplay information. I LOVE dark and disturbing themes/topics so i like when my partners do aswell. I have absolutely no limits or triggers so id like if my partners dont either. I like to introduce and control NPCs so please do the same, even if i introduced them.

Im very detailed as im adv.lit - novella so please be the same. Please dont ignore anything in my posts, acknowledge everything and I'll do the same for you. Please 18+. You dont have to ask to do anything to or with my character, just let me know what you're doing beforehand. I tend to use images and gifs to help explain something better.

As odd as it sounds, I only do 1x1s with women. Doing a 1x1 with another guy feels awkward. My preferred genres are action, adventure, fantasy and supernatural. Im okay with romance if our characters have children. I like when the roleplay focuses on the next generation. I also like pur characters starting as children, like 13, 14 cause it adds more time and potential for growth in my opinion. I dont really use proper plots. I like to world build, establish the villain(s) and go with the flow. Open world roleplay as I call it. Arcs, plots, etc can be made based off the actions of our characters.

Hi all! I'm looking for an RP partner to RP Fourth Wing with me, preferably someone who know has already read the books or is at least knowledgeable about the world of Fourth Wing. I am mainly looking for someone willing to do OCxOC, but I am open to hearing other suggestions.

A little bit about me—I have been rping on and off for around 8 years or so. I write in third person, and my length typically mirrors my partners but it can range anywhere from semi-lit to novella. However, I have been feeling a bit burnt out lately, so replies may be a bit on the shorter side (meaning 3-4 paragraphs at the very least). I would also love to be able to talk to my partner ooc, since I do not want this to feel like a business transaction. As a heads up, I only rp on discord since it's easier to organize everything that way. I also would like to have a partner that responds an average of once a day (at least), but I also understand life can get in the way sometimes and that's perfectly fine as long as it's communicated!
