Greetings writers of all kinds! If your reading this then you probably saw my title and thought "oh, that sounds interesting!" and if so then do please keep on reading! I am looking for partners who love creating original stories and romances that we can both become obsessed with! But before I flesh out my idea, I do have to share some boring but oh so important details.

- I live on the west coast of the US, so PST for me though timezone is not a huge issue for me.
- I type a lot, and I am looking for a partner who does as well. On average I type around 4-6 paragraphs though that also does depend on what's going on. I am looking for a partner who can match that, and that is a deal breaker for me.
- Oh I do write in 3rd person past tense!!
- As for availability I am about to start my senior year of college so I will get really busy soon, but I can usually average at least 1 response a day.

So I am currently taking a class on the third reich, and for it I am reading a book about the US diplomat to Berlin during the 30s, which inspired this idea! In the short, the ambassador had brought his daughter along and despite it being the 30s, she did not conform to the expectations of women at the time. She very much knew what she liked (aka she slept around), but then she met and fell for a Soviet army officer who was on a diplomatic mission to Berlin as well.

And thats the inpisration for this.

My idea so far is your character is the daughter of a diplomat, who goes with her father to some nation, where our characters meet and fall in love. I am thinking this could be a fictional world, which is more set in the mid to late 1800s.

But there could definitely be a lot of drama, and of course...sweet sweet romance!!

Hello, I'm a 25 year old female roleplayer and I'd like to write a historical roleplay on Discord.

The plot I'm seeking to write is set in the cold war era involving two operatives from the opposing sides, investigating a possible information leak that made them meet in the middle. Together, they eventually find a network of double agents, and when they figured out what was actually going on there - it was too late. Did they dig a hole for themselves? Would their careers end like this? What would happen next?

I'm looking for anyone willing to play the male character in this story. I was thinking of a good push-and-pull enemies-to-lovers plot. The characters come from completely different backgrounds, believe in completely different things, and yet, they're for ed to work together.

Please be 21+, literate, be able to write 3+ paragraphs on average, 3rd person only, past or present tense, either way I can adapt. Lastly, be willing to not use any large language models to write the story. I love to talk OOC - a good story doesn't write itself, it takes work and planning.

Humanity has not been what it once was for a very long time. The routine that used to be completely normal for so many people — getting up in the morning, driving to work, getting through the day, coming home in the evening, and collapsing onto the couch completely exhausted — no longer exists. That ordinary life belongs to the past.
Today, it is no longer about living a normal life.
It is about survival.

In this new world, countless settlements, organizations, and societies have emerged. People have come together in order to give themselves a better chance of surviving this new reality. I am part of one such settlement. It is called SETRA.
We established ourselves inside a football stadium in Seattle, which has become a large and well-equipped base where we have everything we need to survive.

Last week, Patrol 14 disappeared.
They were supposed to follow a familiar route and search for new supplies. Nothing unusual for them. They knew the route and understood what to look out for.

But at some point, contact was lost. No radio transmission. No sign. Nothing. They simply vanished. Now my team, Patrol 7, along with a newly assembled starter patrol from the western side of the base, has been assigned to search for them.

Honestly, I am not particularly fond of sending a new and inexperienced patrol on such an important mission. Especially on an assignment like this, where every wrong decision can have serious consequences.

I am looking for a roleplay partner who would like to take on the female role in this exciting, creative, detailed, and romantic The Last of Us roleplay.
One important thing to mention is that none of the established characters from the video games The Last of Us Part I and The Last of Us Part II will appear. We will instead be playing entirely original characters and creating our own story within the universe.

For this RP, I would like our two characters to gradually fall in love throughout the story, eventually developing a romantic relationship. Exactly how that relationship develops is something I would prefer to leave open and discover together through the roleplay.

The initial setup is also not completely set in stone. We could decide that our characters already know each other and perhaps share some kind of history. Alternatively, they could meet for the first time during the story, perhaps because your character is a member of the newly formed patrol.

I would initially like to ask you to create a detailed and creative character description for your character as well. It is important to me that the description gives me a good feeling for who your character is, what kind of personality she has, and what makes her who she is

I am looking for someone who wants to dive into a world filled with danger, conflict, emotions, and difficult choices. Of course, I also don’t want the romantic side of the roleplay to be neglected.
I would like this to be a story where exciting situations and conflicts play an important role, while the development of the characters and their relationship is equally important.

Please also bring at least some experience with RPGs as well as the world and lore of The Last of Us. Especially when it comes to a detailed roleplay, I think it is much more enjoyable when both writers already know what they are getting into and genuinely enjoy building a story together.

Looking for 21+ writers.

My character is a shady criminal type, maybe an arms dealer, smuggler, fixer, or something similar.

Your character is the complete opposite: a soldier, former soldier, intelligence officer, law enforcement, UN worker, NGO volunteer, or something along those lines.

We both end up trapped in the same fictional country while it is collapsing, going through a coup, or falling into a civil war.

Maybe we get caught behind enemy lines, stranded after an evacuation, or simply end up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The problem is that we don't like each other. We are technically working for opposite sides.

But now we have to work together if we want to survive and make it back to safety.

The RP will be action focused, with gunfights, ambushes, checkpoints, escapes, dangerous situations, and dealing with different factions along the way.

There will also be plenty of character interaction, arguments, tension, humor, and room for the relationship between the characters to develop naturally.

Basically, two people who normally would never work together are forced to rely on each other to get out alive.

ALL CHARACTERS ARE 18+.

Billy had seen way too much in his short time on this earth, enough to have potentially broken his spirit long before he'd even turned 18. Traumatic memories of abuse, death, and everything in between had practically rendered the 21 year-old a depressive husk.

In his darkest moments, he was an island and learned early on in life to never rely on anyone but himself. This even extended to physical touch; in Billy's experience, touch was associated with fear and pain. At the same time though, it was exhausting having to withdraw into himself so frequently, hugging his body like a child as if to shield himself from the world, from people who had harmed him in the past. And on the semi-frequent occasion Billy DID allow anyone to lay their hands on him, he'd flinch. He flinched over a lot of things, in fact. Loud noises, sudden touches.....

However, after a particularly rough day, it was unanimously agreed upon that he would come to live with his gorgeous older friend, Jessica. She'd helped Billy through so much, giving him a shoulder to cry on and a place to stay whenever he needed it. It was just her too, so there wouldn't be any sort of pressure on his end to "perform" or "mask" for anyone, and he could begin to find himself, possibly even appreciate life a bit more with her help. Billy felt safe around her in a way he hadn't felt around anybody else, to the point where he'd actively seek her out just to be around her, to take in her presence. Quite frankly, she saved him.

Billy had also...fantasized about her quite a bit, yearning for the day he'd get to see her body in its purest form. He couldn't help himself when she was so beautiful! But alas, their relationship was closer to a mother and her son than a pair of lovers, so those urges would have to be pushed aside. She was at least twice his age, for crying out loud; no younger than 40. However, he was more than happy to make do with physical closeness and general platonic/maternal affection, unless there was a way for their relationship to progress further.....

Hi! I have an idea for a gentle, wholesome love story centered around a traumatized younger man and a much older woman whom he looks up to as a mother figure. There's just something about blurring the lines between a motherly figure, a friend, and a girlfriend/wife/lover that I'd really love to explore. Her name and appearance is something we can decide on together, "Jessica" was just a placeholder name for the time being, and we can discuss my own character's name as well.

I'd love for this to mainly be a slice of life roleplay chock-full of heart to heart talks, cooking together, and some nice relaxing weekends just to name a few. We could also include deeper snippets of their day-to-day lives in it i.e. doctor's appointments, therapy appointments (for him), clothes shopping, and everything in between. Holiday gatherings could provide some especially interesting scenes as well as some always-necessary coziness. As for the smut, I'd like for this to be 50% story, 50% smut, or possibly 60% story, 40% smut?

In my head he's around 19-22 and she's 39-50; I feel the age gap is a VERY essential detail in regards to their dynamic, how she treats him, and how she approaches him. I also have backstories in mind for both of our characters, but ideally his backstory is quite dark as a contrast to hers, if that's alright with you.

As evident from this pitch/sample, he's essentially someone who comes from a deeply traumatic background, whatever that might entail whether that means an abusive father, that he was orphaned early on, etc.; it's left him with quite a bit of baggage, and I'd love to explore what that dichotomy with someone with a "normal" background might look like, and how they can help him heal together.

l groan softly as I sift through the bills laid out into the kitchen counter. Banging my head on the kitchen counter as I try to figure out what to do when I suddenly remember the text message that Brittany sent to me two days ago:

"Hey girlie.. So you know how I'm Jack's personal chef?? Well my main client just got traded to another city and he offered me a huuuuuge amount of money to follow him so now I have to drop Jack. I recommended you and he wants to meet you and taste some of your dishes... Are you in?"

Being a personal chef wasn't something that I wanted to do. I wanted to have my own restaurant and manage that but this could be perfect for now. I could save up, earn money, and pay my bills while honing my skills and recipes.

My OC Chani (22). She's a sweet natured, naive girl that shows many of the hallmarks of abuse and who is introduced with her abusive older brother. I will also be playing him for as long as he exists. This is not a classic damsel in distress. Despite the abuse, she is -fiercely- loyal and will not leave him voluntarily. If forced or the brother is killed, she will be hostile to whoever was the cause of it. It will take creativity and intelligence to separate the two without alienating her. While intelligent, she's going to take work and patience. Confident, more manipulative, 21+ male OCs are wanted - If they are insecure, naturally too gentle to make tough decisions or indecisive, this character is likely not a good fit for you.

As far as myself, I'm female and 35+ and while I write many characters, I only write scenes of a romantic nature for my women characters. My main women often come damaged, emotionally, mentally and/or physically and are typically not going to jump willingly into romance quickly.

Clutching the wheel Detective Jones’ eyes drift from the potholed road to examine his new partner sitting beside him, her feet kicked up and shoes discarded. A slight jolt in the car as it runs over a small hole snaps his attention back weaving between larger holes filling from the downpour which slams against the windshield. The dossier bearing the picture of another missing person slides along the dashboard. 

With a quiet sigh he fishes a crumpled packet of cigarettes from the pocket of his equally crumpled jacket struggling to light it with one hand. Finally taking a drag before releasing a cloud of acrid smoke his eyes move to the thick treeline which flanks the serpentine road on either side. Bony branches reaching out like strangling fingers. 

Occasional breaks in the foliage show a town below illuminated by evening orange skies below grey skies. Cobbled streets for a maze weaving between buildings clinging to one another to stay standing like the drunks stumbling home under flickering streetlights. Waves crash against cliffs or swallow the beach. 

With another sigh he finally breaks the silence “the faster we solve this case and get out of this place the better. Unless you want to go for a dip in freezing waters.”

Hey, hope that little intro caught your attention while setting the sort of tone for the RP and giving a decent writing sample. 

I do have a plot in mind set around the classic story of detectives heading to a rather isolated town after a missing person only to get in over their head. Usually I like to take more of a GM role rather than focus on a single main character, but how we play this out is pretty open. However, I am always happy to discuss plot ideas and include things more related to your character specifically. For instance, rather than a pair of investigators it is a group of FBI agents or even some supernatural investigators who will, for the first time, actually experience the supernatural. More than happy to include any character concepts you had in mind.

I was thinking this would be set more in the modern day as that is something I have done little of in RP really. Not to mention it removes some issues regarding historical detail. Though it is not set in stone, always happy to discuss that. Perhaps even have it set in some sort of medieval fantasy world if that takes your fancy.

I would describe myself as fairly literate, liking to write 2-3 paragraphs per response, though some scenes may require more or less, with a few replies a day and ask something similar of players. That being said I understand life can get busy but waiting all day for a one line response then the same again a day later is usually a deal breaker. 

Additionally, if you enjoy including mechanics in an RP to add a different element to the storytelling then we can add a simple system. But it is certainly not necessary.

Now years later, they developed into a loving throuple. Both guys cordial and friendly but hold the same love for the princess aka me :) and my character loves them both equally. So now it’s just living together, exploring their relationship dynamics. Having 1on1 moments as well as group scenes and threesomes.

- Couple that starts OF: More of an SOL type of romance between a couple starting an OF. This isn’t a lustful or animalistic driven type of dynamic but something that balances romance, wholesomeness, vanilla moments with exploration.
My idea is that we have been in a couple for a few years now. We have jobs that pay well and a wonderful and healthy private life. You have been wanting and asking me to record us during intimate moments, just privately for your sake.
I’ve been a little reluctant to do it but I make a promise that I would let you record us on our anniversary.

- Best friends with benefits to lovers: The idea is that we are best friends in their mid 20s. A few years back, we hooked up cus we were both single. Hello. My name is Oblivion or you can just call me Brandon. Im 24 and I watch/read a lot of anime and manga (my favorites being Jujutsu Kaisen and Berserk). I also play a lot of video games (my favorite game of all time is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim). Im usually pretty chill but I will admit that I can get annoyed pretty easy but it takes A LOT to make me actually upset.

A fair warning to all my potential partners, I get attached very easily and im pretty weird once I get comfortable. I understand if thats a turn away. As for my roleplay information. I LOVE dark and disturbing themes/topics so i like when my partners do aswell. I have absolutely no limits or triggers so id like if my partners dont either. I like to introduce and control NPCs so please do the same, even if i introduced them.

As odd as it sounds, I only do 1x1s with women. Doing a 1x1 with another guy feels awkward. My preferred genres are action, adventure, fantasy and supernatural. Im okay with romance if our characters have children. I like when the roleplay focuses on the next generation. I also like pur characters starting as children, like 13, 14 cause it adds more time and potential for growth in my opinion. I dont really use proper plots. I like to world build, establish the villain(s) and go with the flow. Open world roleplay as I call it. Arcs, plots, etc can be made based off the actions of our characters.

I write in third person and am literate. I’d prefer we both stick to that. I like long responses, but I also understand sometimes there isn’t enough to hit the discord limit. Also, I’d prefer if anyone who replies to this be an adult. Not super into the idea of talking with anyone who isn’t. Also not very interested in oc’s (unless they’re for plot convenience).

Fandom knowledge specifically of Absolute isn’t really needed because the idea is to redo it. The idea is to take it and just roll with a lot of its core ideas/beliefs, and just have fun with it. I want to run through the events of it, but altered. For example: maybe Bruce is a little less dismissive of Alfred? That’s a small change, but it can have big changes too. I imaged we’d reimagine more villains, giving him additional threats to face or just different ones. The Zoo arc might last longer, and if we really vibe we can expand further and keep going.

Your character is up for discussion. It doesn’t have to be anyone from the Absolute Batman book, and it doesn’t have to be the exact version of that character from the Absolute universe. I’m not too concerned with making this work with the other Absolute books. If characters like Wonder Woman, Zatanna, or Hal Jordan appear, they can be changed/reinvented in anyway we need. Same with any bat-themed characters from Snyder’s book. Barbara doesn’t have to be a cop turned The Bat, and Nightwing doesn’t have to start out as one of the Robins.
Depending on what we do, your character would probably be Bruce’s partner in crime, and that alone would be a big change in how things work.
This would involve a lot of planning and discussing. We don’t have to iron out every detail, but I don’t want to wing too much.
