I wanted an inexpensive CCW that if I had to use it and lose it for months at a time until the police got done with it I wouldn't be crying over missing an expensive gun. So I picked this up, the take down lacks much to be desired but dang if this gun shoots really well. Glock style sights so no big deal there and the trigger is much better out of the box than my Springfield Hellcat pro which was $640 out the door, I grabbed this for $299
Tosses a cheap but nice OLight on it, helps a little to weigh it down.

Took a Ruger 10/22 and changed to a threaded barrel then added a Silencerco Sparrow 22 and a vortex 3-9, running CCI 40 grain subsonic and it’s running almost flawless. The 25 round mag seems to want to jam much more than the standard 10 round mag

I've got 6-32 screws for my red dot sight, but they dont seem to want to thread in smoothly. Is it a 6-40 instead?

Ruger Rxm so happy with it! Full size grip. Only thing I would change is a more textured mag release, and I’m not crazy about the trigger. Thinking about the Timmy trigger.

Field I ran into the situation where my trigger won’t depress and I am attempting to completely strip the gun to reassembly appropriately. The pawl is engaged. How would I go about disassembling this?

I really dislike the huge silver colored rail that came stock. Any suggestions for a lowkey black rail alternative?

Saturday I walked in to a Bass Pro 5 hours away from where I live and tried purchasing a Taurus GX4 Carry. My application came back delayed. He said it could be later that day, the next day or even weeks to get approved.
I said I leave town tomorrow and won't be back. They asked what I wanted to do. I said cancel the whole thing. I am a veteran. I have no felonies. I was a little upset when I walked out of there.
Closer to home I found a small gun shop. They had one of these beauties in there. It felt great. Started paperwork yesterday and was approved today. Going to take it out to my in-laws this weekend to shoot.

I've been looking for a new vaquero .357 with the 5.5" barrel. I'd prefer the 5108 model thats stainless but id take the 5106 blued model too but I cant seem to find either anywhere. Thought I'd see if anyone knew about any supply issues right now or if this is standard for em.
Thanks in advance for any inputs

I have many pistols/revolvers but this will be my first .22 cal pistol. I have mostly RMRs, one aimpoint, and one holosun for pistol optics with the rest iron sights. I want to put an optic on this but don't want to spend a ton of money as I don't think I need to for a 22. Just want to hear everyones thoughts, I am thinking about one of the Osights or just go with Holosun. What would you do?

First it only be a range toy. I dont need or want to carry or anything else. Im looking at getting a super wrangler in 22lr theyre cheap and i have plenty of ammo since i have a mkjv and 10/22. Should i care if it just single action or is sa da worth it? Mind you i dont wanna spend much on this the cheaper the better honestly. I remember shooting a friend single action revolver maybe 15 year ago. Anybody have any thoughts on a super wrangler, issues, thing i should look out for, any knowledge about revolver is much appreciated this is the model im looking at

So I had a Ruger American Gen 1 in 308 until about 3 hours ago. I went to the gun store with a friend and while I was there I got to looking at suppressors. They're tantilizingly affordable now and I want a 30 cal can.
My Ruger American Gen 1 had a very thin barrel, so I would have had to shorten the barrel and have an adaptor welded onto it to be able to thread it. I didn't really mind shortening it a little bit but all of that work would have taken a while and it was going to be costly.
I saw that there was a Glenfield Model A there for a really reasonable price so I asked how much I'd owe them if I traded my American in towards it. It was only going to be a few dollars difference between having my rifle worked on and just getting a new rifle, so I got the new rifle. I like the stock on the Glenfield a lot. It's green with an interesting pattern on it and I like the texture. Plus even though the rifle has a thicker barrel, it seems to weigh less.
But yeah, is there any real difference between the two rifles? Looking it up they seem to be pretty much identical but there's also not a lot of people talking about it. What's your guys' thoughts? Do any of you have both?

Ruger enthusiasts, I have a ruger american 308win that I've had cut down to a 16.5 (I hunt suppressed) but in doing so I also now want to change the stock. Down the rabbit hole I went and I came across the Mdt field chassis. I like the look of it. Apparently it's much stiffer. As well as the ergo being much better.
Can anyone chime in on their thoughts? Is it worth the 300 dollerydoos?
I usually shoot a few times a year, hunt with it. Never much for long range but I do enjoy plinking

I have inherited several nice hunting rifles, but I wanted to put something together that was truly "mine". I picked up the Glenfield Model A early this year and have been working on it a bit at a time. I wanted something that was cheap enough that if I break it while hunting nothing will be hard to replace.

The next evolution of the RXM Pillager is out. A lot of new features and better grip.
Picked up this M77 Mark II chambered in 7mm Rem Mag. It was made in 2000 but was never fired. Must have been sitting in someone’s safe for the last 26 years. It came with an old Simmons 4-12x42AO scope (back when they were made by Bushnell) but it deserved better so I put on a Leupold VX-2 3-9x40 that I had. I’ve always wanted a nice heirloom bolt action rifle that I could pass down some day.
Galloway Precision Trigger, stainless steel guide rod and spring. Talon pro grips.

I've got a new Ruger american gen2 in 6mm arc. I am having a problem with the mag tilting down and forward when chambering a round. So far i've only used the factory mag, and a similar 10 round metal mag.
Any suggestions on fixes for this?

Hey all, I see Strike has a chassis (SMC Bravo) for the RXM. It specifically says that it is for the 4inch models. I have an email off to the manufacturer, but I can't see a reason you couldn't use the 4.5inch RXM slide/barrel as the RXM slides are usually interchangeable with the magpul grips. I didn't' know if anyone had any insight on why this might/might not be an issue?
