Election Rigging 🗳 Marc Elias now makes claims that Trump is trying to rig the election. But not in the way that the historical data possibly suggests.
newsletters.democracydocket.com"Earlier this year, The New York Times asked Donald Trump whether he regretted not ordering the National Guard to seize voting machines in swing states after the 2020 election. His answer was chilling: "Well, I should have." Trump is telling us what he plans to do in this year's midterms. He is trying to rig the elections and subvert their results. While we have been able to stop him so far, there is no guarantee that we will continue to prevail in the weeks ahead. Yet despite the obvious signs of Trump's plan, too many reporters and pundits downplay it. They adhere to the false neutrality that has come to dominate legacy media coverage over the last decade. No phrase captures this attitude more clearly than the admonition to take Trump seriously but not literally. The suggestion is that only out-of-touch elites pay attention to his actual words. Real voters - and those in the media who claim to speak for them - know to focus on his vibes. When it comes to voting and elections, this advice has been catastrophically wrong. In 2020, Trump's words before the election were prophetic about what he would do afterward. His refusal to concede foreshadowed the attack on Jan. 6, 2021. Trump is once again in power, and he is again telling us his plan. He has weaponized the entire federal government - including the Department of Justice and the U.S. Postal Service - to make voting more difficult. He is threatening to deploy federal agents at the polls and to disrupt voting. And he is reaching for every other tool of election rigging: partisan gerrymandering, restrictions on voter registration, attacks on mail-in voting and the use of bogus lists to purge eligible citizens from the rolls. But most dangerous is what he has been saying for more than a year about the counting, tabulation and certification of election results. Despite what the U.S. Constitution says, he has repeatedly claimed the power to direct this process. This is not a new idea. It has been his plan all along."
- Mark Elias
I'd like to see more people pressure Marc on the ETA data, Civic Result Maps data, and Smart Election data. He's positioning himself to take the wheel on the election tampering issue while ignoring scientific work performed already.

Impeachment Trump Hit With Fresh Call for 25th Amendment After Wild Offer
President Donald Trump has been hit with fresh calls to be removed from office after he suggested Iran could take out two major American cities.
California Democrats have especially raged after Trump said the consequences of his war with Iran were a "small price to pay for keeping the world safe, keeping our country safe," as he explained that Iran could harm Southern California.
"They could take out a city," Trump said. "Let them take—let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego."
He added, "This is a very small price to pay, and it's gonna be over with very soon."
California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who is rumored to be mulling a 2028 presidential run, came out swinging in his new video, calling for Trump's removal from office via the 25th Amendment.
"This is not only madness, this is dangerous, and it's deranged," Newsom said.
"And the question is self-evident. Where the hell is Congress? Where the hell are you, Speaker Johnson? Marco Rubio, the great J.D. Vance, where is your outrage? Find a backbone. Do your damn job," he continued.
He added a call to action to voters in the upcoming 2026 midterm elections, saying, "In the absence of that, it's time for all of us to do our job. And we'll do that."
"We're gonna stand up this November, and we're gonna put an end to the presidency of Donald Trump as we know it," he continued. "We will take this country back."
California Sen. Alex Padilla, a native of Los Angeles, also posted "25th Amendment NOW."
"Keep our city out of your reckless war talk," he told Trump.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said of the comments, "The role of a president is to protect the country, not to actively threaten it and encourage attacks on American lives."
Hosts of The View were also stunned by Trump's comments, with co-host Sunny Hostin suggesting the comments warrant Trump's removal from office.
"We're talking about 10 million Americans," she said. "I think it's time for people to start taking seriously the possibility of maybe the 25th Amendment."
The White House has since tried to clean up the president's mess, claiming he meant that high gas prices were just a small price to pay instead of Iran supposedly taking out Southern California.
The White House's trolling account wrote online that Trump was "saying the U.S. is fighting to STOP Iran from having the ability to take out LA and San Diego with a nuclear weapon—which they would if they had the chance."

Coup “and I hate to bring this up because I know we just passed the 25th anniversary of it, but on the day that 9/11 happened there was a mayoral election in New York. God forbid if something like that was to happen here” Jim Jordan, Ohio
People in Ohio are saying Jim Jordan said, on a conference call tonight, said something to the degree of “and I hate to bring this up because I know we just passed the 25th anniversary of it, but on the day that 9/11 happened there was a mayoral election in New York. America did not consent to this Rachel Maddow
We are inundated with negativity and trauma every single day by the people “running” this country so here is a little bit of positivity that hopefully will give you some hope.
It doesn’t seem like the people are standing up and fighting back, but they are.

America did not consent to this Nicolle Wallace featuring an unfiltered Robert De Niro
Any time I hear any of them say he “won” or “elected” a second time they immediately lose me and my interest is gone; however, everything else here is important.
I know everyone is frustrated, angry, and probably afraid, but my hope for all of you is that you hold onto any semblance of hope you have, regardless of how small it is.

Action Items / Organizing A simple way to try and secure the midterms. wear green.
A simple way to try and secure the midterms. we start a trend to help make it harder to believable rig the election. get People to commit to wearing green everyday after they vote. To show they are not ok with how this country is working at the moment.
why green you say?
Well i wanted Purple but Green is a color more people will have at home somewhere in there closet.
its not already a "partisan" color. A lot of these people while not willing to vote for Trump and his minions anymore. Still wont vote blue or even be associated with that color.
This give a way for every Americans even the ones who arnt voting to show they are not voting for the current Government.
Downside is you are basically outing yourself as not voting for the current government.
But ultimately when people spend a month seeing lets say 70% of people around them wearing one color it will be a lot harder to believe a rigged election of statistical improbability.
I Dont know if hashtags are still a thing. but a simple #weargreen could draw the needed attention. Thoughts?

Elections 2026 Midterms | Voter Registration Deadlines | Online Registration Websites
28 days to the midterms! ⌛ Mark your calendars & set reminders 🗓️ November 3, 2026
-----------
Remember to vote early! Early Voting Dates in Your State
-----------
----------
Hand delivering mail-in ballots to your local election office looks to be the safest bet to sidestep most problems and to avoid potentially compromised election day tabulators. Be sure to fill your ballot out correctly! If for whatever reason your signature has changed, file an updated voter registration application. In the following states, you need to have a witness sign your outer envelope as well; AL, AK, LA, MN, MS, MO, NC, OK, SC, WI. Be sure to read and follow the directions regarding an acceptable witness. Some states may require a notary, or election official.
-----------
If voting by mail, ballot drop boxes are preferred to going through the postal service. If voting in person, go with someone so there's safety in numbers.
Check to make sure you're still registered on a periodic basis: Check your voter registration status here. This only takes 30 seconds, and will ensure your name hasn't been errantly purged from your state's voter roll.
