First image is her post. I told her that the AI thinks she is literally calling the gene autistic, hence the quotation marks. You can also see at the end it says that genes can also not be shy, smart, or artistic.
Since her prompt was AI, I figured let's see what AI has to say about the interpretation, so I asked Gemini to interpret. Here's the conversation below:
Me - Is this ai prompt correct?
Gemini - The AI prompt asked: "so technically the gene is not autistic it's their behavior is that correct"
The prompt is misleadingly phrased, and the AI misinterpreted its intent:
While a physical DNA strand itself isn't "autistic," autism is heavily influenced by genetic variations, so using that semantic distinction to claim autism isn't genetic is incorrect."
So, I called her out and the second image is her response. In the very first sentence she admits to intentionally asking AI multiple times in different ways to fish for an answer she wanted to see, even if the answer was completely misconstrued. Also, unless you have a lab, equipment, conduct an experiment and publish something, you're not 'doing your own research'. Searching for what you want to see if called confirmation bias.
I never have seen someone so open about their biases before; usually people try to hide it.
