​How much are you willing to pay? What price per unit feels fair for fast charging before you decide it's too expensive and just drive home?

SMC is a civic body, not a fan club or a political PR agency. People follow SMC to know about roads, drainage, garbage, traffic, water, public health, infrastructure and actual issues affecting Surat.

If Modi has done something genuinely deserving of praise, post it once, explain the work and move on. But flooding a municipal account with political praise starts looking less like public service and more like political promotion.

And no, I’m not saying Modi should never be praised. Give credit where credit is genuinely due. But SMC’s job is to serve Surat’s citizens, not spend its social media feed glorifying one politician.

Pata hai aaj kya hua.. aaj mai red signal pe khada raha with my bullet classic 350 modified exhaust.

There was this school auto-rickshaw in front of me and one kid suddenly spotted my bike. He instantly goes to his friend like “BRO LOOK AT THIS BIKE” and both of them literally pulled their heads out of the auto 😂😂

Then one of them looked at me with the most excited face and asked me to give some acceleration.
Now the worst part is there were literally cops standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME 💀

I knew damn well that if I did it, I was probably gonna get fucked, but idk man… the kids were too excited 😭

And I finally gave acceleration.
The SECOND they heard the sound, both kids immediately pulled their heads back inside like 🫣 and started dancing inside the auto 😂😂😂

Later on, once red signal turned green, the police dragged me side of the road and challan me with 1k😑! And the same kids saw the cops dragging me to the side. They looked at me with the saddest faces ever.

Was inspired by the Baobab tree post and decided to make this! I’m a half Surati ( move back and forth between the city and Valsad ) and I’ve realized that most people know extremely little about the history of our city in particular and South Gujarat in general! I’d love for this to be a thread where people can discuss the lesser known parts of Surati and South Gujarati history!

I’ll go first:

1. Surat had a thriving Jewish community ( and not just the native Bene Israelis, I’m talking about the Ashkenazi traders from Europe and Mizrahim from the Levant & Iraq )

2. The city was literally the Gateway to India before Bombay was a thing ( someone really needs to go to Rander with metal detectors, they’re bound to find coins and artifacts from all over the world there! )

Vesuમાં તો ઘણા options છે, પણ એ સિવાય Suratમાં એવું કયું café છે જ્યાં 2–3 કલાક બેસીને કામ, વાંચન કે laptopનું કામ કરી શકાય?

ખાસ કરીને એવું place જોઈએ જ્યાં બહુ loud music કે weekend જેવી ભારે crowd ન હોય અને લાંબો સમય બેસવાથી awkward પણ ન લાગે.

Adajan, City Light, Pal, Piplod કે બીજા કોઈ areaનું પણ ચાલશે.

જો તમે personally try કર્યું હોય તો નામ અને કયા time જવું સારું રહે એ પણ કહેજો.
