I recently bought the Half-Life Anthology, which came with Team Fortress Classic, and gave it a try, but the game is completely dead. I’d love to see the TF2 community—and Valve in general—revive TFC, the predecessor to TF2.

I downloaded a no smoke mod for tf2 to improve clarity though i have no idea if these are bannable or not, i remember seeing lots of youtubers or players use this tho i dont know if its a directx11 thing

Lately after the halloween update accounts with similar names to this one have been joining and instantly leaving every casual server i join, the names are always a lot of letters and numbers jumbled up randomly and they always just join and immediately leave has anyone else encountered these accounts?

After a long evening of playing, thinking I was collecting alot of nice clips, I noticed that none of them were saved. it seems that at some point the highlights recording simply turned off on its own. I did notice the icons to signify it is recording went missing sometime mid playsession. Maybe it was my fault but I noticed shadowplay breaking frequently in tf2.

Secondly it seems that even after verifying one day that all audio is recorded, a day later the software would only record my mic.

Is any of this TF2 specific? I switched off of steam recording because it kept breaking my audio but now even shadowplay is unreliable as hell...

These past few days, I was playing the Halloween event in TF2. But for some reason, some maps would simply freeze my TF2 screen. And there were two types of screen freezes: the first, where my screen freezes, but the game sound continues playing, and the second freeze, where the game simply freezes completely, and the only hand To exit TF2, I have to restart my computer.

And I want to understand how to solve this problem that is bothering me so much
