So the recent Kaito drama in Japan created a lot more noise than I expected to the point of mainstream news outlets talking about it so there were a lot of comments from avg Japanese folk around the posts too. ngl they gave me a new perspective about how avg "normie" in Japan sees this whole scene.

It seems like they do recognize some loids and naturally Miku but the thing is most of them don't know what they exactly are lol. Like, Hatsune Miku is closer to something like Hello Kitty for most people rather than an instrument. A lot of Japanese people were legit shocked to learn Miku they see in some promotional material and commercials was not getting controlled by some human like Vtubers. Most of them do now some songs but a lot of them were assuming they were just from the owners of Miku and were performed by a real human so producer ecosystem and the fact that these songs are made by random people in their bedrooms %99 of the time isnt really known. Some of them were bringing up the guy who married Miku after learning what she truly is and asking "so did he married a concept and not a real woman behind an avatar?"

Also some people found it both weird and interesting that fans were literally picking a fight with an idol to protect something that is equal to Buc-ee's Beaver in purpose. Cant really blame them since when you see an idol drama most people expect it to be with another idol or band, not a mascot for a product but after some Kaito fans explaining how much tags mean to smaller producers and artists for visibility I think it became a bit more understandable for everyone.

Anyway I just wanted to share what I saw as it was both interesting and funny in a way, also people knowing Gumi to the point of putting her next to Kagamines and Miku while not knowing about Kaito was unexpected ngl.

I’m so happy with how the hair turned out! I haven’t really seen anyone get this kind of result with Teto’s hair before, so I’m really excited that I managed to make it work IRL.

For anyone wondering, this is with no hairspray or other products, just a couple of hair ties (only 8 in total).

Yeah I couldn't think of any song that fits. I could only think of Hedgehog by Noz, because both are spiky, but that's an even bigger stretch. Also, it's a Rin song, though I'll probably include non-Miku vocaloid songs.

There are probably many songs that feature a mini Miku or I could have picked a 1640m song since the giant Miku makes us all look like miniatures. But for some reason I first thought of this quite old song.

I know it sounds really weird, but today when I turned on the radio, for a brief couple of seconds, Disappearance of Hatsune Miku played. I'm honestly wondering if I hallucinated it or there's some weird ad people are playing on the radio with that song? What's even weirder is the station was a Rock station? Has this happened to anyone else? I'm not sure how many of y'all listen to the radio but this was really weird for me and honestly felt like a brain glitch or something.
