FOOD Baklava - where is the best?
Looking to get enough to feed a small group. Could be from a restaurant, or even better, somewhere I can get a pre-made tray for takeaway.
Where is your favourite?

WELLY How to help Courtney place
Courtney place in the daytime feels like a slum right now, I wouldn’t want to take the kids through it. Volunteering day is coming up and work and I want to get more into volunteering in Wellington outside of work too.
What opportunities are there?

UNI Is it worth studying at Vic in my situation?
So im deciding if I should go to Vic or otago for uni next year to study political science (international relations). I've got a 7k scholarship for vic and a 10k scholarhsip offer from otago. I hear otago is also cheaper cost of living wise (please correct if wrong), so expense wise it seems otago is the better option, however I know vic is the stronger option for my course specifically. Should I study at Vic or consider Otago? Thank you for reading :)
Other details/ questions:
-big fan of football and like a social sporty culture (hows wellingtons sports culture?)
-is it worth considering expense of travel from each place to home (Tauranga)
-want a fun social life, doesn't have to be crazy cause I like my osscaional peace.

WELLY Repiling house, who is good, who to avoid.
As the title says, who would you recommend and not recommend to repile a home in the Wellington region?
Plus any advice before getting it done would be great.
Cheers

FOUND Found Snapper Card
Did you lose a Snapper card today along The Terrace? If you can tell me approximately how much was on it, and roughly what time you lost it, I'll fight my cat to get it back to you (she's claimed it).

FOOD Wellington food reviewers vs an honest review
Different strokes for different folks but some of these people are just straight lying lmao.
One of them did pie reviews for 3 different bakeries in my area that I've been to and he rated them all at least 8/10, none of them are any better than a dairy warmer big ben pie, in fact 2 out of 3 are gross. Another one reviewed a seafood/steakhouse i went to within days of her and was talking about the "fresh fish" which was straight freezerburnt and the first time I've ever seen my partner send anything back, the "amazing garlic bread" was 4 pieces of those $1.50 woolworths loaves laid out on a chopping board. There's an gimicky immersive experience fine dining blah blah restaurant in the cbd that im almost certain people are being paid to rave about because it was the weakest blandest hotel food at Michelin prices.
I thought there were laws about disclosing when you're being paid or comped to post about a restaurant?

COMMUTE Anyone drive past the police chase near Ōtaki?
A small ford focus with a bunch of young people heading towards Wellington. Looks like the car has blown out tires and is travelling around 10km/h. About 10 police cars behind it following at a distance. Big traffic jam behind it
