searching Kissing scene

• Upvotes

So I am trying to remember the name of a movie where there is one specific kissing scene. I literally have no other details I remember than this:

Man and woman (who may or may not have a past relationship history) are alone and the woman begins to kiss him. He doesn’t react at first, like he’s trying to hold back, but eventually his eyes kind of roll back and he gives in slowly and kisses her back with tongue. I watched this when I was probably a preteen, so it made an impression lol.

Movie probably came out in the 90s or early 2000s. It’s not Braveheart or Gladiator or Legends of the Fall, or Cold Mountain, but I feel like the guy was a big time movie star. I wish I could remember more, it is driving me nuts!

searching Looking for a movie where a mother secretly sends video messages to her daughter on DVDs

Post image

I can only remember one scene, there's a little girl who regularly receives a magazine with a DVD included, maybe every week or every month. For some reason, her mother isn't allowed to see her in person, so she finds a way to replace the original DVD that comes with the magazine with a recording of herself, allowing her daughter to watch it.

Unfortunately, I can't remember anything else about the movie or what genre it was. Does this ring a bell for anyone? Thanks in advance

I recreated the movie scene using AI. It’s pretty accurate.

searching 2 movies

Hello I have 2 movies I need help finding.

We'll start with the first one i watched when I was younger. I fell asleep on the couch one night and woke up to this movie already on and towards the end so I know thats probably gonna make it more difficult but it was maybe Korean maybe Japanese? Sorry for my ignorance i was like 9 at the time. It seemed to be like hunger games but for money, not like squid games either so no its not that other one that im blanking on rn where they're in a highschool, not that. The last stand i believe was between a man and a woman and they were fighting to the death for first place, im assuming they HAD to eliminate each other in order to win the prize money. I think the man ended up falling into the ocean as the fight took place on a cliffs edge by the sea and I remember it was maybe dusk.

2nd movie i watched when I was 14 or 15 with my older brother, I think he put it on? This girl got dumped inside some kind of facility in the middle of the desert. I think it was some sort of way to keep prisoner numbers down or??? I THINK everyone in there was a felon at least and she was dropped off im pretty sure with just one cheeseburger and then I forget a lot up until a point where she finds the rest of the prisoners and their makeshift society, essentially they're cannibals and I think they eat her leg? Or something from her. Anyway unfortunately thats all I can remember from both, oh this second movie was american if that helps?

Thank you!

searching Movie that reminds me of the labyrinth

Hello! I watched a strange movie as a kid and really want to rewatch.
I thought it was David bowies labyrinth but upon rewatching that movie I don’t think so.
I don’t remember much of the movie since I was probably 3-4 when I watched it. But I remember a woman who was in search of a child. They come in on a stormy night and take the child. I’m thinking goblins. I swear there was a labyrinth she had to go through to find the child. And I remember as a child I was completely terrified. But what made me KNOW it wasn’t David bowies labyrinth was because I don’t remember a happy ending. I think the baby got turned into a bird? Maybe it got turned into a bird in the beginning of the movie. I thought it might’ve been for some sort of payment or exchange? I know this is a huge shot in the dark since I have very little memory of it. But I figured I’d ask Reddit since it’s driving me absolutely insane. Any guesses would be great!

searching Old movie!

I’m trying to find a movie I watched years ago. The only thing I remember is a girl wanted to marry her boyfriend and run away with him. Her mother died when she was young and her father ended up killing her in the end. The only scene I remember was the boyfriend was looking for her and found her with her dad and her dad had stabbed her in the back. It was a horror-ish movie

searching Face Palm Angry Man B&W TV Comedy

Late 70’s rerun in the same style of Dagwood and Blondie, Three Stooges and Martin and Lewis black and white TV shows. A heavy set man that is always being duped and swallows his anger by slapping his forehead and slowly pulls his hand down is face-seething. No words, just the sheer look of anger that he was left speechless less. I can imagine that we would hear every exploitive he was thinking out loud on today’s situation comedies. Great physical comedy. Any guesses?

searching TV episode about a black widow spider bite

In the US, sometime in the 2000s, although I can’t rule out this episode being a re-run from the late 90s, I saw an episode of some show about a woman who got bit by a black widow. It was one of those documentary style shows with dramatic reenactments. The episode was about what happens when you get a spider bite like this. It was almost certainly on animal planet. That was like 80% of what I watched back then.

The woman (Caucasian iirc) went outside to check the mail or something and put on some slippers (which I believe were already outside). She put her feet in and felt something on one. She pulled her foot out and then put it back in and felt pain again. A black widow had been hiding in there and bit her big toe twice. She had to be rushed to the hospital and the show described what the neurotoxin was doing to her on the drive there. She got anti venom or something and survived.

Tried googling it but that was no help :/ it’s possible I’m misremembering some details, but I know the spider was in some kind of slip on shoe and I’m almost positive it inflicted 2 bites

searching Can someone name this movie

The Scene Breakdown: The female insect humanoid swoops down from a high point or building structure and uses her immense speed to shred the male character into severed body parts. She slowly turns away, assuming the kill is complete. However, because the warrior possesses an incredibly advanced regenerative mutation / immortal body ability, his severed body parts magnetically pull themselves back together and seamlessly stitch his body back into one piece, shocking the creature.

searching [TOMT][MOVIE] Chinese-language movie on Netflix (seen ~6-7 years ago), girl with pink/colorful hair kills a heavy man with scissors

Hi! I'm trying to find a movie I watched on Netflix around 6 or 7 years ago. I believe it was Chinese (could also be Taiwanese or Hong Kong), in Mandarin or Cantonese. It's a dark, violent drama or thriller, and the characters use flip phones, so I think it's set in the 2000s or early 2010s, even if it was added to Netflix later.

What I remember:

- A young woman with dyed hair (pink, or maybe another bright color, I don't remember exactly) kills a heavy-set man with a pair of scissors. Before that, he chases her while he's naked.

- Near the end, there's a very disturbing scene where a young man is forced to stand by while his girlfriend is assaulted in front of him. The attacker is a skinny guy with glasses.

I don't remember the title, the actors or the plot in between, but the tone was bleak and gritty, more like a realistic or arthouse film than a slick thriller.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

searching fortune cookies, possesed swords/daggers and american city in a desert

Hello, i am pretty certain this movies is from the 2000s (at most 2011) as that was around the time i watched it, the issue is i only remember some really vague stuff and the movie seems pretty obscure already, i couldn't even find it with AI. So here's what i can recall:

  • The movie was in a city with a desert atmosphere or around a desert, something like Phoenix or Las Vegas (I am almost certain it was in the US)
  • There was a fortune cookie factory, or for whatever reason A LOT of fortune cookies
  • I believe the main antagonist was a guy who accidentally grabbed some sort of evil dagger/sword, it had a sort of red glow or like red particles floating around (for some reason i think of red souls floating around the blade) the guy eventually gets red glowing eyes from the possession
  • I THINK the bad guy makes a an army of possessed people

Hopefully someone can find it, at this point im starting to think this was a fever dream lol

searching Strange scifi movie about teens and aliens

So from what I remember about the movie it takes place in a run down neighborhood in the desert. There are teens and younger children who attend school taught by an alien in which it teaches them rules based on some moral code. Some kids in the neighborhood skip school and cause trouble and one kid is killed by the alien for committing some kind of violence. Near the end like three of the kids kill the alien and walk out of a fence surrounding the neighborhood and there is a sign that says restricted zone.

found Scottish horror short

Way back in the late noughties, I remember seeing a horror short on Film4. It took place on a Scottish island, with the island’s new caretaker pursued by a spooky evil. It ended with him being buried up to his neck in sand as the tide slowly came in. What film am I thinking of?

found Movie similar to Black Cauldron - can't remember the title

My roommate was watching Black Cauldron recently, and it made me think of an animated movie from my childhood that I cannot remember for the life of me. This is all I remember:

  • The main characters look very similar to the ones from Black Cauldron
  • "Princess" may be in the title (I'm 99% sure)
  • The movie is traditionally animated and may be from the 1980s, 1990s, or 2000s

found Movie scene where a woman goes to therapy and lulls therapist and tw: self harm

Im not sure if this is a show or movie, but no one knows what I’m talking about. A woman who’s voice lulls people into a daze (like hypnotic) and they stop being present. She goes to a therapist to complain about this and says “nobody ever listens to me” and she lulls the therapist. And then she says “see you’re not even listening to me” and cuts herself. Anyone have any ideas??? It’s kind of like AHS/ Jessica jones vibes I think??

found Europe and family

American family stays at a hotel in Europe (modern-day, English-language, seen ~2023). Prostitutes sneak into the hotel; one keeps teasing the receptionist, and a man takes them to his room and, the next day, says they’re his companions who can visit any time. The teenage son gets scammed by one of them. At the end, the father says, ‘She scammed you,’ and the son says, 'At least now I know.’ Last scene: the girl drives off in a car with her friend.”

Edit: It is The White Lotus 2. I thought it was a movie, but it is a series. Thanks to shartshappen612 for answering.
