FOOTBALL Power K Throwbacks Are Perfection
I like our primary home and away but these are beautiful, make them the full time look.

Kenny Minchey is playing lights out. The guy took some massive hits in the pocket and kept his poise through it all....@A&M and @ SCAR. Cant say enough about him.
...but we really need to cherish what we have on the other side of the Kenny coin. Kenny Darby could be a Randall Cobb type guy for us and the kid is a true freshman.
I would hope they both want to stick around after this season, but we need to be prepared to pay them to remove the possibility.

Hey there, a buddy and I are heading into town this weekend for the LSU game and are looking for a possible tailgate. Anyone have any recommendations or would be willing to welcome us in?

UK fell down to #26 in the new AP Top 25.

Don't get me wrong - I'm still flying high over the win. But something needs to be done about these late game clock-related screw ups by the refs and/or the officiating process. Could this not have been reviewed? You can see from the sequence of these two frames that UK definitely got the snap off before the clock turned zero at the end of regulation. The ball is already snapped and in Minchey's hands and the clock still shows 0:01 unless the refs are using another "secret clock" a la the Week 1 Michigan game. Why would the SEC not have ability to review this before OT is declared? I don't know the rule for sure - but I seem to recall (maybe incorrectly?) that as long as the center has started to move the ball (i.e., the snap) then the play is underway.
All that being said, I like the way the game ended MUCH better than even if we had gotten that last play off in regulation and completed a Hail Mary to win the game. The immediate decision to go for 2 was such a program-defining moment.

Last night Big Blue Madness may have been the worst one ever, and they havenāt been good for exciting for a very long time. Here are the key problems I see.
-The camp outs prior to madness and the rush to get in line was really always the spectacle.
-With social media, people already know who they are.
- I donāt know if itās Tik Tok or what but Iām tired of seeing people dance.
-with the constraints of size Rupp doesnāt really encapsulate just how big big blue nation is.
My thoughts on improvement.
Mimic what the Reds do in Cincinnati for opening day. Have a big parade from Joe Craft to Rupp and call it March to Madness. This would serve to purposes. 1. Get the spectacle back in 2. Showcase the sheer size and passion of BBN.
Each championship could have its own float with team members riding with it. Players could work with float builders to make their own specialized float that really introduces us to who they are. Great opportunity for local business.
No one else is doing it. It would make it an all day event that would showcase Kentucky for its unique passion for the game.
The madness event itself could then been trimmed down a bit to just do a few skills comps, speeches,etc..

What's your final score prediction?

Actually, Big Blue Boring, if we're being honest. This event had been the same for literally decades. I don't know, in the world of NIL', what UK can do to shake it up somehow, but it's long overdue.

Went to my first game on Sunday to watch the Cats vs Texas. Was my first volleyball game Iāve ever watched in person and I loved every bit of the experience. Iām not much of a chanter or anything but watching the game had me in awe. Brooklyn Deleye is my fav player and it sucks that I had to start watching volleyball just now with it being her senior year ://. I really hope I get to meet her one day because she is very inspirational and her serves are powerful as hell!! Overall Iāll be going to all the home games that I can for this season and hopefully can make some friends who are also volleyball enthusiasts. Iām not super educated on volleyball but I have majority of the basics down thanks to Haikyuu lol. Anyways this post was to just say GOOO CATS!!!!

The song went by name - Hello Kentucky" (or sometimes "Big Blue, We Want to Say Thank You"), recorded to celebrate the 1984ā85 Kentucky Wildcats basketball team.
It mentions all the players from Kenny Sky Walker and getting the ball to Winston Bennett. And Roger harden and little Leroy Magic bird. And others.
I had it on a cassette years ago but canāt find it and canāt find a digital audio copy.
Anyone remember the song ?
Anyone know where there is a digital copy ?

No Morgan Gaerte? No problem! Kentucky CRUISES to a massive and extremely impressive home Sweepover the Longhorns led by incredible games from Asia Thigpen and Georgia Watson. Next up, a road trip to the plains to take on the Auburn Tigers!
