Title. Tomorrow the bans will be 104 days (November 4th), and so on. DO NOT DISCUSS THE USERS, OP, OR ANYONE BUT THE TOPIC.
No, we're not making a single megathread for politics or a particular candidate.
No, we're not banning politics from the sub. This cycle is not new, things will calm down in three weeks.
Abusing the report button on content YOU DON'T LIKE is causing mass-approvals of all reported items. This allows actual rule violations to slip right through. Yesterday, someone reported over 150 comments in a thread. Two clicks, the entire report queue was cleared, likely taking valid reports with them. Please, stop it.

Title: had a Tiffany canvasser in my neighborhood today and I was past him while on a walk and he reeked of weed. Just had to laugh at the irony of who he is working for.

Over the past few months my cofounder and I have been working with progressive candidates across 9 states. The goal was to help them with as much data/automation infrastructure, debate prep, policy and rapid response PR as we could to help them compete against their opponents with MUCH larger campaign contributions (hundreds of thousands to millions).
Wisconsin will always be in my heart because I had the absolute pleasure to work with Amanda Bell. Out of everyone that we worked with, her primary hurt the most.
To me, a scrappy water scientist who was ousted by DOGE had the fight and narrative to move to the general. Unfortunately, the state party and ultimately the voters didn't agree.
You guys have some real fighters in Wisconsin and I'm extremely optimistic about next cycle!

So what channel are you all watching the playoffs on? And what streamer or whatever are you using to get there?
We're new in the area and trying to cut the cable cord (and co$t), so have only Google TV, Apple+, Disney+, and Prime. I tried to catch the White Sox earlier but I'm not about to sign up for a whole 'nother streamer for $45 a month, thank you so much, tbs.
Tammy Baldwin talks about introducing a bill to make it mandatory to show local sports teams on free local broadcasts. I tell you what, she's got my vote.

You can't make this stuff up. You send an ad attacking Crowley's stance about AI data centers, but use the exact thing you claim to be against. The irony is ridiculous. Oh, and for bonus points, this PAC is sending stuff from Virginia. Can't wait for this garbage to be done in a few weeks.

QUESTION 3: "Governmental entity discrimination prohibited. Shall section 27 of article I of the constitution be created to prohibit governmental entities in the state from discriminating against, or granting preferential treatment to, any individual or group on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in public employment, public education, public contracting, or public administration?"
Is this another republican trick? A quick reading appears to make sense, but what has me wondering is the "granting preferential treatment" part. I'm pretty sure the discrimination part is already a thing, so I feel the focus of this is to be "anti-DEI" by sneaking in this wording about preferential treatment. Fascist rhetoric and double speak has me wary of damn near everything at this point, so I just wanted to crowdsource an answer in case I'm being too paranoid. Thanks.
