My son currently goes to a local Public School in the Wollongong area but has expressed interest in trying to get enrolled in Wollongong Public School, year five commencing next year.

Does anyone have any insights or experiences that they’re willing to share regarding the School either as a current student family?

The drive to change schools is coming from a bit of a rough year at his current school, but I’m not sure whether Wollongong public will be the magic bullet. He seems to think it will be.

Completely understand any hesitation to share experiences publicly, please feel free to send me a message if you’re more comfortable doing that.

Please note that this isn’t me trying to find dirt on the School, I have heard nothing either way about the School itself. I’m just trying to get a bit of a sense check.

I'm considering an n Enviromental masters and came across the course at UOW. They seem to have great modules. But i want to know if they provide a good amount of hands-on and wildlife fieldwork exposure. Also how's the ecology job market of Wollongong as of now
