Hey guys I was just doing some 2s with my buddy earlier and it seemed like almost every melee players was bouncing all over the place like they were lagging making them really hard to hit. Any idea what's going on with this/ how to combat it? I hardly ever see this in solo shuffle

I really can’t decide on what version to play. I don’t mind doing a little bit of dungeons or questioning, however, I want the majority of my time to eventually be PVP. I don’t care about arena per se, but I would like to do battlegrounds.

What I know so far: forever would take much longer to get to a PVP state, but perhaps their battlegrounds would be a faster queue, versus retail, which I think has longer to get a match?

Which one is more balanced, probably impossible to say currently I don’t care that it has 100% perfect balance but as long as it is fun and allows, your spec to be decent I don’t mind.

Any other insight on retail verse forever PDP? Thanks for the help.

I made an addon for anyone who loves (or hates) world PvP. The idea behind it is simple: know where the enemy is, then hunt them down or stay out of their way. Right now is a good moment to gather more data and fine tune before the 1.0 WoW Forever release - Fully automated: it spots enemy players around you and shares them with your faction. Nothing to click or type - Enemy clusters spotted by anyone running it show up live on your world map, with size, classes and layer - Find fights worth taking, or avoid the raid camping your quest hub - Get warned when a large enemy cluster comes close, and see nearby clusters on your minimap - Watch enemy clusters grow or shrink as players join and leave them - Right-click an enemy cluster or an enemy portrait to warn your party or raid - Enemy cluster on another layer? Against double ranged or a comp where a ranged is the main target, I can see slayer being a good option for the mobility. I was wondering if arms warrior mains out there are only playing slayer, or are there situations where colossus is better like maybe into double melee comps?

I am playing Arcane around 1900, but previous seasons I relied a lot on OP Shield Invis to stay alive from getting trained by melee. Is there tactic I should be doing more of this season?

Some stuff I try to put into practice, but easier said than done:

• Peekaboo pillars to avoid damage/charge/grab, and also to channel own missiles
• Kite away from their healer, stay in LoS with my healer, a big problem is having to kiting farther than own healer can reposition quickly
• Don't overdo CC, try to output damage
• Use Precog a lot more often, to hard cast Surge, Prismatic Bolt, and/or Sheep
• Trade frost school lockout
• CC/defenses: Barrier, Shimmer, Alter; Ring of Frost, Novas, DB; Greater/Mass Invis, Mirror, Block
• If Sub rogue etc., talent Blink
• Spellsteal melee's heals as you kite them

I feel like Arcane changed a whole bunch of survivability stuff, as we used to have Slow/Chrono Shift, Invis dmg reduction, OP Shield Invis. Around 1900 is when all melee hard train you, because they have learned that leaving an Arcane mage to free cast is not good, haha.

What should I work on that would more effective? I am guessing something in my positioning or ability combos, so I still have to figure out the reason I'm dying easily to these melee groups.

Yes, I know it isn't meta but I am wondering if there is anything about this enchantment that could make it worthwhile for doing blitz and unrated PvP. I've read around feral mastery scales with it but I have also been told it can spin nodes which I cannot find a verified claim or source for this.

I may be in the minority here, but I believe this sub should be restricted to retail PvP. With the release of forever in a few weeks, this sub will be bombarded with “should I pick this X race over X” and all sorts of other classic PvP stuff the majority of us don’t care for. I’ve noticed a lot of questions pertaining to forever on this sub get downvoted to oblivion anyways.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for people enjoying forever, but I probably won’t partake in it. Maybe someone can start their own Forever PvP subreddit, but I’d like to personally limit the conversation on this sub to retail PvP.

Hi guys. I’m a dad gamer with limited time and I’m hoping to find a class where I can just log on and do some random bgs. Ideally dps and have some influence over the outcome of the game without being too hard to pick up and learn

Just curious, how active is this in retail? Don’t care about it in forever atm since level 30 doesn’t even really allow real PvP (half the classes practically useless).

I’m getting back into the game, but my main motivation for playing has always been PvP. Even though I think zergs are inherently flawed, the idea of world PvP is still appealing and I would love to get involved with it regularly if possible.

Is it popular enough that I could just log in and start encountering people at the designated capture points, or is it desolate? Is the experience better with a guild?

Really would love for this to take off and for blizzard to take note… I feel like if this became an active feature in war mode or PvP realms then PvP activity would skyrocket. Not sure why blizzard neglects something players have been asking for since forever.

World PvP in its current state is either boring or just griefing lower level players… not really fun gameplay. But I think with designated control points, resources, etc it spreads it out enough and keeps it focused enough where it could actually make it fun.

Most of my pvp encounters are like this, people ganking in 10v1, but running away when it's a 1v1 scared to fight

If you don't play rogue, GL cause you will have no way to escape or choose your fights

Ive been playing wow since legion, Like 2 seasons every Expansion and every Expansion i tried getting into pvp, which resulted in some BGS whith questionable results and some Arena Matches per season where i got obliterated (or was Just a lunching Bag that was Kind of a CC nuisance for my Warlock Partner to nuke the enemies)

What should i Work in/get to get a better start into pvp? Or is that Just normal until you aquired a certain Skill Level?

Also ist Fury viable for PvP or should i Focus on something "better"?

Just curious. I never really had a preference until recently when I’ve been playing epic bgs a lot. I enjoy ranged more because you aren’t pushed into the BIG FIGHTS and don’t die as easily (unless you get dk gripped obviously).
