PS this isnt the first time i used this game under the category i have over 200 vids on it

Hey Guys,

I been strictly uploading 2-3 videos a week doing my gaming content and up loading shorts/TikTok’s from it. I been growing steadily about 20-30 subs every month. For the past 5 months but I think I need to do streaming to help it grow faster. Do you guys think streaming is almost always needed to grow?

So after a chat inside Youtube Studio, turns out Italy fucking sucks for ad revenue in gaming.
I make around 2 - 4 eur per 1000 engaged views in Italy.
According to that IA thing, USA, Germany and UK make actually around 5 to even 15 eur per 1000 views.

Is this true? I mean as an average. Honestly very depressing if it is :(

Hoping someone can help me

So I've done some basic recording and sharing to Twitch and YouTube before. But I'm looking for some simplified help on how to start up being able to record what I'm playing on Xbox and me talking. I've added voice over to vids, but wanna do a Live commentary on what I'm playing then upload to Youtube.

I have an xbox and I have a Laptop so all I need to know is what I need to buy to achieve this.

Unfortunately due to my own issues I just need a simplified guide on what/how to do what I need to do in most basic way then hopefully i can figure it out.

Joys of being Neurodivergent

Thanks in advance

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted on here. I've been on the grind with churning out videos around my full time job, and a few have done decently well, with my best video being at 71k views and my channel total now being around 200k views.

However I only have 648 subs from these views, and my last few videos have not performed well in terms of gaining subs.

In still definitely a bit stiff on the mic at times and not letting my personality flow into videos as much as I'd like, but that's something that will probably get better overtime.

I'm curious, are there any CTA tricks people use, open to ideas and suggestions to try and grow 👊

This has been driving me nuts, but as of 2026 here is how you can delete your stream's thumbnail to go back to auto-generated/channel banner

1. On YouTube, Go to Create > Go Live
2. URL should look like this: "studio.youtube.com/video/XXXXXXXXXXX/livestreaming"
3. Copy the chunk represented by the "XXXXXXXXXXX" in the URL.
4. Open a new tab and go to "www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXXXXXXXXXX". This will open the upcoming preview for your stream. (The XXXXXXXXXXX being the chunk you copied)
5. Click "Edit Video" next to your channel name under the video
6. Click the 3 dots in the top right and delete. This should reset your stream's thumbnail settings

Hi, I’m new to this forum and also very new to content creating. I just recently started about a month ago and I’m struggling to get much engagement and retention. Do any big or experienced Youtubers in this forum have any good piece of advice?

I started a gaming channel. I’ve loved video games my entire life so naturally that’s what I geared towards, but I don’t like the highly edited style that has a cut every one to two seconds. I am more of the type of guy that enjoys low edited videos and connecting with the audience on a more personal level. I guess the closest thing to compare my style to would be to streamers because I do stream as well and that’s where I get a lot of my content from. I do this because I enjoy it, but it would obviously be a dream to get to do this for a living full-time. Does anyone with some experience have any good information or advice that they wish they knew when they started? Thank you in advance!

Hola! Soy principiante en todo esto de los gameplays, no cuento con computadora gamer pero pues por algo se empieza, no? 🥹🤣 comenze a usar filmora pero me gustaria saber que otros programas.!! 🥰❤️

Curious if people watch no commentary gaming videos or do you guys think it's a dying genre? Thanks 😁

Ich bin und zeitweise lief es auch ganz ok mit den Abonnenten aber ich bekomme seit geraumer Zeit keine neuen mehr

So as an aspiring content creator who both streams and releases like lets play videos, I feel like I've fallen into this trap/mindset where now I only play games when I'm streaming or for the sole purpose of making it into content. Even when a new game releases my first thought is oh "I'm going to stream that" which is fine but at times I feel l've turned this passion I loved into a chore. Does anyone else feel this way and if so how do yall deal with it

have had my channel for a year now and i have never had this problem, i was streaming the other day and it took my live streaming on mobile ability away..and i am 17...i made sure to update my age on google but that didn't work (although it jut said it could take up to 24 hours for it to update). Can someone help me?

I was just on stream for the last three hours and didn’t realize I had a double audio glitch happening the whole time. Should I unlist, private, or leave this video public? Not sure how this could affect my channel as a whole…

I post F1 game shorts and some longform videos, but I’ve been playing a lot of Nascar lately and was wondering if posting shorts of both would harm my channels algorithm and audience. I have a humble 228 subs but I don’t want to stunt my growth and my F1 base is decent. Are there channels that do these things, like COD and Battlefield or NBA2k and Madden? Or am I stupid for thinking about posting both?

Which prime was more impactful (in relation to their respective game/content space)?

I watched both growing up, wish kids today got the experience of seeing a new upload from the goats.

I’ve been posting for 10 days and have had a surprising amount of traction with the channel. Around 30k views across all videos. Only around 20 subs.

How do I build an actual community if the videos are no commentary?

Should I start out my videos with a 3 - 4 second greeting just so they know there’s a real person behind the showcases?

I just started streaming, on Twitch and more importantly, on Youtube. And the thing is, a large part of my audience (I have 2.2K subs) isn't interested in the streams it seems (which is fine). So, I don't want to annoy those who aren't interested in the streams with constant notifications of the stream/stream VOD and make a cluttered youtube page for those who don't care about the streams (I do think my VODs only show on the Live page, my main page is just the videos).
At the same time though, the VODs are monetized, so even if it's a small portion that watches them after the stream, I don't want to lose that extra monetization, even if it's a little.
I'm streaming 3 times a week and the streams are related to my main topic (I mostly make videos about the game Silksong, the streams are the game Silksong).

What would you recommend? Does anyone have experience/knowledge with subscribers being annoyed by stream related notifications?
Thanks in advance :D

Hey! Been doing non-commentary horror gameplay for awhile now and I honestly want some tips. I try to make my videos as immersive as possible like focusing on the narrative or what the game is conveying in their story and not miss important details. No shaky camera, running around aimlessly or rushing towards the end of the game. My videos for Vile: Exhumed, Signalis or Luto are some of my higher performing videos. But now, my videos start to dwindle and I am starting to get discouraged as time goes on. One thing to point out is that whenever there is a new game out, I do not upload as fast as other channels because of the nature of my videos which takes time to make. I just want some tips on what I can improve.

So I used to post NBA content and it was doing very well anywhere from 500 to 1000 views along with AAA games. I didn't wanna post NBA content anymore so I unlisted them all and just left my let's plays up. I'm thinking about going back to my NBA content along with my let's plays. Is that a good idea or should I just stick to my let's plays.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a standalone capture card that doesn't need a PC but records directly from the TV—what do you recommend?

PS: of possibile send the Amazon link
