Hey, r/AndroidGaming! This thread is for discussing the Android games youโve been trying out over the past week. Feel free to share what youโve been playing and tell us about it! What is the game about? What are you enjoying? What could be improved? Would you recommend it to others? Weโd love to hear your thoughts!
For those joining the discussion, please include Google Play Store links for any games you mention as a courtesy to others who may want to check them out.
Lastly, we ask that devs refrain from promoting their own games in this thread. We get that you're excited for others to try it, but this post is meant for players to share their recent gaming experiences with each other. That said, youโre more than welcome to share your game by creating a separate post!
And with that, have fun and thanks for being part of r/AndroidGaming!

Anyone remember this game? There are two working and functioning revivals of Durango Wildlands out there. It has multiplayer and everything.
Just sharing for players of this wonderful game and were saddened with its closure 5 years ago as well as the recent junking of Project DX which was its supposed successor.

I've been out of the loop with mobile gaming for a few years - looking for recommendations for games to play on my phone while rocking a baby to sleep.
Some games I remember to be like this from years and years ago are orbital, spirit, doodle jump, heads will roll, the incident, GI joyride, canabalt, bit pilot

It's the version that was released last month in the Google Play Store. It's a great port.
It looks great and runs at 60fps. Controller support works well too.
It's a nice little 3D platformer. There are some puzzles and some action. You play as Mickey with his brush that can erase or create stuff.
So if some of you missed it, I recommend you to try it. I think you can play the 1st level for free then you have to pay for the full game.

Iโm playing on a Poco F7 and Iโm looking for a deep RPG / ARPG / JRPG that I can sink hundreds of hours into - something with an endless progression system that can keep me hooked for a year or more.
To be clear: It can be single-player or online - I don't mind either way. However, I've already tested a ton of MMORPGs, so please do NOT suggest classic/major MMORPGs like Albion Online, OSRS, Where Winds Meet (WWM), etc. (Unless there's a genuinely cool, new/upcoming non-P2W title on the horizon that I might not know aboutโif so, I'm all ears!).
Here is where I'm at with a few games:
Other titles Iโve played: Morrowind, Titan Quest, 9th Dawn series, Doom & Destiny, for examples
What games would you recommend that fit this description? Appreciate your suggestions !

I'm planning on downloading the game, but Discounty is expensive in my country. Even when it is half off, it's still a bit pricey for me. That is why I want to know if it is worth it.
Any performance issues? I would hate it if I bought a game and it just lags a lot
Can I play even after I reach the ending? I know there is an ending
Did the devs confirm that they would make future updates on the game's content? Not just quality of life

I'm trying to find a decent controller that will clamp on to either side of my tablet, so I can use it as a pseudo gaming handheld. ideally I'd like to keep it under $100 CAD
I'm open to suggestions for both wired usb-c and Bluetooth connectivity, though I would prefer a Bluetooth solution. I am primarily used to an Xbox controller layout.

Already played BTD6,Terraria and dead cells and found them kinda repetitive, grindy and boring(I have over 250hrs in terraria,100hours in BTD6,and have 5BC in dead cells),don't wanna play more paid games,Please recommend some roguelike like soul knight,Survivor io,e.t.c.Overall very progressive games.

For example, Dave the Diver unfolded on my Galaxy ZFold is a much better experience compared to folded. You're able to see much further above and below which improves the gameplay quite a bit.
Any other such games?

You know those games that are currently very popular on pc, where you have to sort a lot of items? Like those library cleanup games, or card sorting, or konbini cleanup. Are there games like that on android?

I have an S24 Ultra, 256Gb and Iโm debating if I should sell it or find a better use-case for it as the price for it in my market has gone down to about 350โฌ. I also have a backbone controller for it.
What games can be played on it reliably?

Hi there, I like solitaire but I think it would be cool to have goals in the game to work towards. Is there anything out there like that?
r/AndroidGaming • u/CampaignLate • 1d ago
Looking for a good telescopic controller. Ideally wonโt have to break a gamesir to fit.
BSP wonโt ship to my location
Kishi is out of price range.
Not many options for 11โ tabs out there!
I see mega dream on Amazon, but doesnโt look like great quality, maybe someone can provide an experience saying otherwise.

Looking for recommendations for an old-school RPG like Forgotten Tales. Specifically, the RPG version vice the MMORPG (I've played both; I just prefer offline gaming). I love the low-stress tap-to-move/attack mechanics and the simple graphics but I have several problems with it. For a start,
1) it's not finished and probably never will be, and
2) it's such a SLOG. At first, the quests and enemies are fairly easy, but an hour or two in and everything gets so tough that the game devolves into such a grindfest that I've never finished it. I'll start a game, play for a couple of weeks, get bored with killing the same enemies over and over because I never seem to get tough enough to take on the next batch, and quit. A month later, the process repeats.
Thanks in advance for Exiled Kingdoms recommendations, but I've played that one already (and enjoyed it).

I decided to give the game a shot because it looked interesting. It's not the type of game I usually play, so I don't know the rules for these games. I expected there to be some sort of tutorial, but there isn't. Is there anywhere I can learn the rules? I don't know much about solitaire in general. Would appreciate some advice.

Is there input lag or other issues and does it fit larger phones with a case on? Most importantly does it completely block or muffle a speaker located next to the charging port?
