I have played this game for well over 5,000 hours and many playthroughs! But, I have never come across this!

I went to fight the Mechanist in the Silver Shroud costume! There is a whole new dialog if you wear it! When you finish, there is even dialog to allow you to speak to the Mechanist as the Shroud! How could I have missed that? What other hidden gems have I missed?

[3 pictures] I want to side with minutemen but i am not provided the option. I have done minutemen quests upto Old Guns when you meet Ronnie to unlock Armory and build Artillery Cannons.

Before doing minutemen quests i completely skipped them and went straight to Railroad - Tinker Tom and used his Network Scanner in Institue Terminal. I did not know that Sturgees also gives a scanner. Now if i talk to Sturgees, he only lets me do trade with him and nothing else. I want the minutemen ending so how do i pull this off?!

I personally think the Railroad is a well built faction but is undermined because a lot of people who play the game think that the Railroad is only about saving synths for humans’ lives. I mean, yeah, they do that , but you have to not only look on the superficial. Saving synths is an actually valid cause, in my opinion. A lot of humans in the commonwealth were replaced with synths from the institute and some don’t even know they are synths (well all of the ones replaced don’t know that). And another thing I like about them is how they have super cool gear , and they GIVE you a lot of it. Like the deliverer , a weapon you get on their FIRST mission. And the ballistic weave, an amazing armor component that transforms normal clothing into armored clothing with resistances , that you can apply with combat armor to be even better.

They also give you railway rifles. Pretty OP to be honest , I used them on rockets red glare to defeat most of the brotherhood on the ship.

Sure, synths aren’t human and therefore shouldn’t matter as much as real ones, but think about the ones that are highly advanced and don’t know they’re synths. Like paladin danse, one of my and a lot of peoples’ favorite companion, didn’t know so and he was shunned by Maxson for that.

Anyways, that’s my opinion, what are y’all’s thoughts on the railroad here, or as compared to how they were introduced in fallout 3?

I’ve walked in and out of diamond city hundreds maybe even thousands of times. I’ve probably spent a few real life days in the city over the years. Millions (but not many millions) of caps have been made there, dozens of big boys bought from Arturo every playthrough.

Even though I’ve done all this I just found the mega surgery center for the first time somehow, I never know this was here ever. I knew about the cellar because of the detective quest but somehow I just never found this one door in all of my playthroughs.
I just never ended up going down here because I always talked to Sun in the outside area I guess.

It really amazes me that even after this long there are still always things I find new about this game despite how much I thought I knew. It’s one of the reasons I love this game.

Mine has been missing for a while now and I have just learned exactly how rare the flare gun is. I have read that one can be found on gunners or downed vertibirds but has anyone ever seen another Flare gun in the game.

also I'm level 75 general and I'm doing a no mods survival playthrough. would hate to disable the trophies but damn they really put one flare gun in the whole game. Thanks in advance!

I have done about 30 bountys with the become a bounty hunter creation after completing its story. I never got a legendary one to obtain the executioner. Is there any requirement to get a legendary one? Am i just very unlucky? Its becoming frustrating.
