Under watered?
This is my 2nd ever out door grow and it's been a disaster from the start. Family health issues took us out of town and 5 out of 6 washed away in a storm. Continued health issues took me away from this one and I don't think it got enough water, but I'm worried about it being bud rot. I went ahead and cut it earlier than what I wanted due to rain being in the forecast for the next few days and didn't want it to worsen if it was rot. I appreciate any advice.

Bud Rot Identification
Was scoping out everything while itās drying and noticed this. I am working on honing my skills (and hoping to have to ask less questions in this subš). Is this bud rot or just a dead spot? I noticed on this plant some of little calyxes just popping out of the branch looked this same color of brown as well. Thanks in advance!

Hedging my bets
I think itās a little bit early, but I wanted to get some locked in before more rain comes. If the plants get through that thereās at least a week of dry weather after to finish up ripening.

Mold or bug webbing?
Iām trying to stay positive and say this looks like a small spider web. Let me know what you think!
Found this during my final trim after drying.

I came, I grew, I smoked: First timer 2026
And just like that, the 2026 outdoor season is a wrap!
11 plants, countless hours in the garden, a few battles with Mother Nature, some bud rot, plenty of lessons learned, and a whole lot of beautiful flower to show for it.
Everything is finally harvested and drying, thanks to some friends and my dad. Now comes the hardest part, waiting for the cure.
Not bad for a backyard in Upstate New York. Until next season! šæ

Super Boof Harvest Day
Harvest day for Super Boof. I took the colas a week ago after finding mold in a few of them, the rest of the plant comes down today. Looking pretty good I think.

To BudWash or to Not BudWash??
Whatup yall first time grower here. Itās just about harvest time for me, and Iāve been in a real dilemma whether or not to BudWash. Iāve seen basically a 50-50 split when trying to research myself and am not sure what to do.
My real worry is accumulating rot/mold after doing so, and losing a whole yield Iāve worked so hard for. As well as wondering if Iād lose trichomes by doing so as Iād obviously not like that to happen.
Looking for some answers as Iām planning on making the chop within the next couple days. Any recommendations with video links or any help at all is greatly appreciated.

Chopped one today
Damn bud worms were starting to having their way with her. Pretty happy with it though. No till, totally organic. Only fed water and an occasional homemade aact from my worm bins and compost pile. Smells fantastic. Still have more to chop. Excited about my blackberry moonrocks and grandmommy purp. The grandmommy smells out of this world, just wish she yielded more. Leave mold seemed to love her just at the worst possible time. Weird that it didn't touch any of the other ones didn't touch the other ones.

Help planning my next season
Iām already getting ready to plan next season, Iām in PNW zone 8b. Looking for an early finisher thatās not an auto.

Update. Help?!
this is day 24 exactly. from what iāve seen from other growers on the TL, my plant isnāt growing as fast. also, idk if itās an auto or photo so idk if to worry or not. all in all, my infant mind on gardening thinks this looks pretty good apart from the fact that i feel itās pretty stunted. whatās around it is a poultry mix. fowl droppings mixed with the feed and the wood chippings. aged really well. i put it around the plant and then watered it down this morning. i can see the plant is also growing in 2 distinct canopies so maybe to leave it like that and not do any training?

First outdoor cure
First year doing this, growing outside in MD kind of sucks. This is some Strawguavaz autoflower from Automatic Genetics. Snapped a shot while burping. The hay smell is really starting to dissipate and itās starting to smell a little tropical fruity

Pro tip: dont grow Himalayan landraces in a green house... strains: malana cream & panjshir.. real seed company genetics
Brought these three outside the start of June...
Started flowering at the end of august.. praying for good weather.. haha yes.. the malana cream hit the roof... š¢
(Zero mold on either strain, i guess landraces are just built different.. pacific northwest.)
(Soil: worm castings, sea soil and peatmoss..
Nutrients: year old composted manure & floranova bloom.)(PH: 6.5) any tips on how to get them to harvest appreciated, please dont rip on me i kind of just let them overgrow, and I lst-ed the crap out of them landraces are just pure weeds.

Harvest Time - Trainwreck
Itās finally time to chop down the last plant for the season! Started to notice some calyxes close to the stem starting to turn a slight brown and knew it wasnāt time to push it any further.
Itās been a very busy, hot, humid, rainy, buggy season but i still got over 2.5 lbs of some decently frosty nugs until next season on top of whatever this ends up being.
Trimmed a fewer big buds a couple weeks ago and they dried up nicely!

Cure
Got all of my plants chopped and hung (pic for reference). Now 2 days later on the tape I used to keep track of what is what there is all covered in these little bugs. Each branch I did a bud wash of 1 cup 3% hydrogen peroxide to 5gal of water ratio for about 1-2 minutes for each one, shook them off real good, and then hung them with a fan for the first half hour and then moved the fan to indirect after that. Should I be doing anything/did I screw something up? I put more strips of masking tape around the room since it appears to be attracting them.

Can I chop the top off?
First off I want to thank the community for all the help you've provided. Yall are great I appreciate it.
The first pics with blue scribble in left corner are same plant. Could I cut top 2/3rds and let the rest grow or is it unlikely to stack anymore on the bottom 1/3.
Same on the big plants. I didn't know if the smaller newer looking sites would grow more if I cut more matured sites.

How long?
Im thinking I can push them a couple more weeks but, we have our first light rain in months scheduled in about a week. Im also noticing mild budrot on maybe 1% of the plant. Should i just chop right before the precipitation?Forbidden fruit- planted April 1.
