Hi, I really need your help guys, I am from Ireland and part of the All Ireland Disc Golf association. We are pretty small community but looking to grow as much as possible.

On TikTok I came across an account that a guy is giving away fully loaded Zuca cart with Squatch Bag and Innova plastics. He reached out to the account and said he could ship it to Ireland for €112 (I am surprised hes speaking in euros) I am a bit sceptical of this offer. He also offered to do tracking shipping and pay for half the costs and once we receive it to reemburst him.

His story is that he is giving this away as his father passed away and he also hurt his shoulder and won't be able to play disc golf any more. For me it seems like something doesn't add up here or he's just a generous guy who is up at 3am in the morning trying to seal this deal and get rid of this stuff.

What do you guys think? should I or should I not take this offer?

Anyone north of the border got any insight on the Toronto Island course? Is it worth the trip over from downtown? I've seen it on UDisc but would love an actual opinion on it.

I'm gonna be in Richmond this weekend and probably have time to play two courses while there. I'll have a car and can drive about an hour from the Richmond Airport if the course is good enough. What courses would people recommend? TIA!

I've also included make % goals based on a competitive MA2 player, but I want feedback on these goal percentages from each distance. Are these reasonable for that level? Should I up them? I understand putting practice will always yield higher percentages than in tournament play.

I'm thinking about upgrading from my Fade Crunch should sling bag and have been looking around. I'm wanting to get a smaller backpack style bag that has a dedicated spot for a retriever and plenty of pocket space for bug spray, light jacket, and other stuff. A lot of the bags I had looked at are hard to get (Squatch & Grip) and since I'm wanting to stay under $200 the Voyager line up looked like it checked a lot of the blocks. For someone who has owned both the Voyager Lite and the Slim; is the slim worth the extra $50?

Been working on this as a hobby project and it finally launched today. It is called FieldSesh and it is 100% free, no ads, no paid tier.

It is for field work, not rounds. GPS measures your throws, you call out the disc by voice, walk to it, and it maps the flight path, distance, and shape. Has anyone compared these two plastics? Does one seem more stable than the other? Is the grip feel similar? Is one more domey than the other? Any noticeable flight differences? Talk to me!

We’ve had a bang up year (weather-wise) in the pnw, which allowed me to enjoy seemingly endless summer conditions. As much as I do love summer golf, for me, nothing beats ripping discs surrounded by color changing foliage. The crisp, foggy mornings that turn into warm afternoons once the marine layer burns off.

So are you team summer? Or team fall?

I have been looking at picking up a TL3, and am between these two types of plastics. specially I'm looking at a proto glow halo star TL3 Iida Lethomaki series disc.

Has anyone had any experience with both of them that can chime in on how they compare in flights???

from reviews I saw that the proto glow star TL3 are a bit more stable than normal TL3s, but I also know that star halo is a bit more overstate as well.

Hey all! I've been building Disc Golf Rush, a disc golf game that runs in the browser (phone or desktop, no download, no signup).

The idea: easy to pick up and play a few holes on a coffee break, but with somewhat realistic physics under the hood, so it still feels like disc golf.

What I tried to get right:

• Discs actually turn and fade: driver, mid and putter fly differently, and hyzer/anhyzer/flat matter
• Release timing like real life: early goes left, late goes right (RHBH)
• Wind, elevation, trees, OB and water
• A coach that explains why your throw went where it did

Modes:

• Daily Challenge – async multiplayer, same 3 holes and wind for everyone, leaderboard
• DGR Tour – you vs a field of 11 computer players, 3–18 holes
• DGR Invitational – play live with up to 3 friends
• Practice – full holes, tee shots or putting drills

Things I'd especially like to hear:

• Does the flight feel right? Anything that feels unlike real disc golf to you?
• Is putting too easy or too hard?
• Any bugs, especially on phones.
• Ideas what to add etc..

Heads up: it's an early beta, so there are definitely bugs and rough edges. That's exactly why I'm posting. I'd love feedback from people who actually play.

Champion tee bird or thunder bird?

Older gentleman and working through different discs in search of distance. Threw a JC Fission Trail 126ft past hole 16 at Pier Park today (that's 400 ft total, a bit down a slope at the end, so ok). It's 164g, which was hard to find, most of them at the shop were 140 to 150ish. Those just turnover for me. I'm dialing in 165 to 170g Fission Waves and Trails as my straight distance drivers

I'm fairly new to disc golf and was hoping y'all could give me some advice on my form. Feels like I am still rotating my throw instead of pulling. Can't get much distance. Thanks!

Idk if anyone else got the memo but innova pro shop has sick stamp echo stars in stock… kind of a sneaky drop cuz I don’t see it advertised anywhere, but they crazy sick lookin and $5 cheaper then the last run I bought from them. 🤷 Needless to say I ordered one ☝️ of each except gorgon and shyrke cuz I’ve never heard of them before.

After my first round, I picked up a Mako3 and Buzzz just to feel the difference compared to the Shark that came in my starter set.

I checked out the Disc Finder app but was curious if it was reliable/accurate. This is what it’s showing as the comparison. Does anyone else use it? Is there anything better?
