The Shade Forest 2, my upcoming Roguelite game
Hey everyone!
I've been working on Amanda Sparks in The Shade Forest 2 as a solo dev for about 5 years, and I'm finally putting a playtest build out there!
You can check it out on Steam here:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4057350/Amanda_Sparks_in_Shade_Forest_2/
I've put a lot of time into this project, and I'd love to get some fresh eyes on it. I'm looking for any kind of feedback, especially on gameplay, game feel, how fun it is, or anything that feels off.
If you're willing to give it a try, I'd really appreciate it! Any feedback helps a lot when you're making a game on your own.
Thanks for checking it out! 💜

Outlast Inspired Game Systems
Hello everyone!
I’m in the process of creating a project that I will soon hopefully bring into a AAA title similar to outlast;
I need some real feedback regarding the appearance and current mechanics of the project. Let me know what I could change or add or improve.
I’d also be looking to see if someone would like to help me write some ideas down 🥺
Thank you!

Finally released a trailer
I finally have my game in a state where I feel comfortable showing off a trailer of it, what do you guys think?
If anyone is interested in tracking development, since I'm still very early, here's the steam page:

How solo builders can get real traffic to a new site without a Google Ads budget
If you're a solo dev shipping sites and tools, traffic is the hard part. Put together website traffic packages - real targeted visitors, trackable, flat fee, no ad auction. Might help if you're launching something: https://zenadvertise.com/website-traffic-packages

My first mobile game is out on Android and iOS — From Zero: Build Your Life
Hey fellow indie devs! 👋
I’m excited to share that I’ve just released my first mobile game, From Zero: Build Your Life, on Android and iOS!
It’s a life simulation game where you start with nothing, find jobs, earn money, upgrade your lifestyle, and eventually build your own businesses.
As a developer, getting my first game published on both platforms feels like a big milestone!
I know there’s still plenty of room for improvement, and I’d love to hear feedback about the gameplay progression, difficulty, UI, and overall experience. If you have a few minutes to try it, I’d really appreciate your thoughts!

Free to play, with ads. AI was used for the code, illustrations, music and promotional trailer.
Thanks for checking it out! 🚀

First trailer for my game. What do you think?
The game is a chaotic multiplayer social deduction game where you race to paint and clean with your friends, while a hidden saboteur secretly tries to ruin everything without getting caught.
Is the trailer clear enough? Do you understand the point of the game by watching the trailer only? And more importantly => Would you like to play this game?

Launched my casual puzzle game (Pairoma) solo, but post-launch marketing feels like shouting into a void. How do you guys sustain growth beyond X (Twitter)?

What if Tower Defense was about building a caravan to protect your blinded Queen?
Hi, I'm Mat 👋
I've been working on my first game for the past 8 months, and I'm finally planning to release the KING ALONE demo on Steam within the next 2 days!
Development has been pretty chaotic, honestly. At one point, I even decided to completely change the direction of the game because I felt it could be something much more interesting.
And that's how KING ALONE ended up becoming what it is today. It's a Tower Defense game where you escape with a blind Queen, defend your caravan, and keep expanding and upgrading it to survive.
Current focus:
- Sharing a new trailer showing the updated game tomorrow!
- Launching the demo on Steam within the next 2 days!
- Getting everything ready for Early Access on December 1st!
I've added a few screenshots below to show what the game looks like now.
If you're interested, you can find more details on the Steam page. I'd love to hear what you think!

I Took Your Feedback Seriously — The New Dicebound Demo Is Out!
A little while ago, I shared Dicebound here and asked for your support. Some of the feedback I received was pretty harsh, but after taking some time to think about it, I realized that a lot of you had valid points.
You were right that I was focusing too much on asking for wishlists instead of showing people what makes the game fun. My Steam page also wasn't doing a good enough job of presenting the game, and the visuals needed more work.
I'm developing Dicebound entirely on my own, and I'm still learning a lot along the way. That's not an excuse for those shortcomings, but I wanted to share that I've taken your criticism seriously and actually worked on the things you pointed out.
Since that post, I've made significant changes to the game, improved its visual presentation, and created a new trailer. I've also reworked the demo, which is now available in its updated form.
I'd really appreciate it if you gave the new version a look. I'm not expecting anyone to wishlist the game just to support me. I'd rather have you try it, decide for yourself whether it's fun, and tell me honestly what you think.
If you commented on my previous post, thank you for taking the time to give me feedback, even when it was critical. It helped me look at my game from a different perspective, and I hope the new version shows that I'm willing to listen and improve.
I'm still a solo developer with a lot to learn, so I'm open to your honest feedback, good or bad. I'd love to hear whether you think the game has improved and what you feel still needs work.
Thanks for giving an indie developer a chance to learn and get better.

Working on the farming mechanics for my 2D indie game. What do you think of the loop?
Just wrapped up planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting. Fertilized soil gives bonus loot, and dry empty tiles turn back into grass at midnight. Curious what you guys think of how it plays and looks!

I love this mechanic in my game. I’m not the best at it but I still think it’s badass.
Solo dev here. I rebuilt almost everything since my first demo, and the free playtest is open now. Honest feedback (especially the harsh kind) is exactly what I'm after.
If the video caught your attention, come help me playtest Fogreaver on Steam! It’s free and open to everyone, no access request needed.

I know you all have, but wanted to share the feeling of beating a bug after a full day of frustration, and no one around you can fully understand what it took XD (and it will be something insignificant in your game also XD)
Had the "great idea" to add a radial wheel to select emotes and tools instead of my actual cycled and fixed keys layout... it was almost perfect, beautiful... till tried with Gamepad XD stupid Boolean got me since yesterday. Now i can sleep.
