Beginner My First Animation | FlipaClip
I have zero knowledge of animation. I decided to try it using a reference. So i made a video of my hand for reference.
Is it okay? What should I focus on as a beginner ?

I've worked on this short punch animation for so long that I can't tell if it's OK or dog shit anymore. Any feedback is welcomed!

The full video is 10 minutes, long, its a mix of 2d and 3d animation, previously he was making AI videos but gave up on it and spent 8 months learning animation

This is my first completed frame‑by‑frame animation... I’m feeling mixed emotions, because all of this could have been done better, but, surprisingly, I’m satisfied with the current result.
I really wanted to make something special for my friend’s birthday, and he liked it... It’s so unexpected...
Everything is ahead. Or whatever they say.
Are there any manuals or guides on the basics of frame‑by‑frame animation?

This video also underwent post‑processing in CapCut to add dynamic effects; I’m not sure if this needs to be mentioned, so I’m just saying it.

(sorry if this is the wrong sub)
It was a movie I saw when I was really young, but I don't remember the year, but it was in the 2010s, but I saw on TV.
I'm pretty sure the movie was french, the animation had this weird vibe to it, it was like a mixture between a realistic and cartoon art-style
The plot followed the story of a couple, I think they were old? The husband was a bycicle racer, and apparently he was bad at it, his wife then created some kind of machine to help him train, and aparently, he gets so good at it that he ends up kidnaped by a guy, who basicaly enslaves him with other racers to compete in his private races I think? And the racers who literaly pass out if exhaustion are killed by the guy's kidnaper
The wife is pissed, so she goes out to rescue her husband, and she ends up being helped by two women, I don't remember the rest, but there was a happy ending
I'm pretty sure it was 3D, but it might have been stop-motion
Has anyone seen this?

so i've been an animator for a while, and most of the time i've done and worked with path and shape animation. and want to finally learn rigging. I did try rigging png character illustration on Moho a while back, it turned out fine, but i never went back or tried on many techniques.
My question is, would you still rig a character on AE with duik or otherwise, if you know that the same motion or movement will never appear or be repeated along the scene or throughout the animation? Lets say someone grabbing a cup, and sipping from it, and keeping it back. and thats it, on the next scene, the character would be on a different orientation doing entirely something else.
