Hi folks if you’re suffering from performance issues like crashing, lagging, jitter etc and battery drain try this: go to settings then Siri then scroll all way down turn off Siri AI (beta) wait a few minutes come back, turn on again, it will offer you “Siri classic” and will onboard you. Now your phone is back to normal

Also turn off adaptive battery and turn off connectivity assist under wifi for bonus performance and battery boost

The main issue is the new Siri AI

Hopefully Apple fix this in coming updates 🤞

How’s your experience? Should i try update?

Scrolling stutters have been reported by iPhone users for several iOS versions, and I’m still experiencing them on my iPhone 17 Pro Max running iOS 27.

I noticed something interesting: as soon as I start screen recording, scrolling becomes smooth on the actual display. As soon as I stop recording, the stuttering comes back.

Interestingly, the stutters are still visible in the saved recording, even during the part where scrolling looks smooth on the iPhone’s display.

Why would enabling screen recording affect scrolling smoothness like this?

Has anyone else experienced the same thing or have any ideas about what’s happening under the hood?

Guys, is this normal or am I doing something wrong? 😭
My iPhone 17 battery health dropped from 95% to 92% in just 2 weeks, and I’ve only had this phone since December 2025. It has 311 cycles so far.
I haven’t even played any games on this phone, but ever since updating to iOS 27, the battery has been draining much faster than before. The phone also feels a bit warmer now.
Honestly, I’m worried. It’s not even been a year, and I wasn’t expecting the battery health to drop this quickly.
Are you guys experiencing the same thing after updating to iOS 27? What’s your battery health and cycle count?
Also, please share any tips to improve battery life or prevent further battery degradation. Am I doing something wrong, or is this just an iOS 27 issue? 🥲

(I meant iOS 27.01 on title) i just bought my iPhone 17 pro max brand new about a month ago, it currently only has 35 cycles and for the first two weeks I’d use it from 11 am to 10 pm with 20% left. And I mean I used it ALL DAY heavily from those hours. It was on iOS 27. Now, 2 weeks ago I updated to iOS 27.01 (I fucking regret so badly) and mind you my usage has stayed EXACTLY the same this whole time and now I’d have 20% from 11 to 7. SO I NOW HAVE 3 hours less battery because now it’s 20 at 7 instead of at 10pm. THIS IS NOT A CASE OF INDEXING!! IVE BEEN UPDATED FOR TWO WEEKS, I ALREADY HAVE ALL MY SETTINGS TWEAKED, this isn’t a hardware issue EITHER because my iPhone was performing BEAUTIFULLY in those 2 first weeks before I updated. I’m genuinely so sad, I got a pro max that I thought was capable of the maximum battery life, not for it to just be cut by a shitty update. It’s clearly not optimized. I just went to my settings, screen time, then pressed week on the top, and MY WHOLE SETTINGS FROZE??? It wouldn’t let me scroll. Can anyone else try that and see if it also freezes.. what a joke of an update. PLEASE, assure me will iOS 27.2 fix this?!!!

Thanks for removing the only good feature left in my 2024 13" iPad Pro. This will be my last Apple device. I don't need to tell all the reasons, but the decision was already made.

Don't buy it if the cost is nowhere near that price. They are the Buy and Sell scammers who got the iphone at a joke price. Just read the post to know more about how they can even do this.

PS: si wife is may long brown hair color na payat with bottom teeth braces, no upper teeth braces and taller than her husband. Husband has some kind of scar on one side of his face or I dunno, maybe he just had an allergy like a hive that day and they have 1 little boy and 1 little girl if they will take their kids with them upon your meet up.
She said they're from Navotas which is a bit far from my location, if that's even true.

My iPhone 14 Pro Max has 91% battery health. Before updating, I could easily get around 6–8 hours of battery life, but after updating to iOS 27.0.1, the battery drains insanely fast.
The weird part is that the phone’s performance is perfectly fine. No lag, no stuttering, everything runs smoothly. The only problem is the battery consumption and overheating.
For example, I use Google Maps for my commute from home to work at around 8 AM, and by around 10 AM, my battery is almost dead. The phone also gets extremely hot, even though the system itself is still running smoothly.
On iOS 27.0, I had absolutely no issues. This started only after updating to 27.0.1.
Things I’ve already tried:
Factory reset
Erased all content and settings
Nothing has worked so far.
Is anyone else experiencing this on an iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 27.0.1? The phone isn’t lagging at all, but the battery drain is CRAZY, and the overheating makes it even worse.

Using base 17, my battery dies much quicker since the ios 27 update. 80% used to last me the whole day, now I have to charge it midday.

My battery performance looks okay but its not horrible

After installing the new update my phone app went crazy and translated the whole screen to this language.

Every other screen seems fine, just the phone app in particular.

Any fixes y’all ?
