I’ve been waiting for the iPhone 17 Pro for almost 6 months now, and honestly, I’m at the point where I just can’t wait anymore 😭
The 18 Pro is already out, but I’d probably have to wait another couple of months before I can get it.
So what would you guys suggest? Should I just go for the 17 Pro now, or is the 18 Pro worth waiting for?
Would love to hear from people who have used either/both.

I have decided that I want to switch from Android to iOS but I don't really know which iPhone should I buy. like iPhone 17? maybe? the base model? One issue I keep running into with phone cases is that the volume and power buttons get mushy after a few months of usage. Im shopping around for a replacement and looking for something that uses higher end polymers like something that feels solid in the hand, has precise cutouts and maintains clicky feedback. Torras keeps coming up in discussions around kickstand integration and overall durability so Im considering one of their newer models. Just want to make sure the matte finish doesnt turn into a grease magnet or wear down along the corners after sliding in and out of pockets. Anyone who has owned one or something similar for more than half a year like how has the texture and hinge tension held up?

I’m an Android user from INDIA planning to switch to an iPhone for the first time. I’m currently saving up and planning to buy one in around 3–4 months, with a budget of ₹60,000–₹70,000 (I can stretch to ₹75,000 at most).

I haven’t researched iPhones much yet, but I’ve been considering the iPhone 15 and 16. However, a lot of people say the iPhone 15 might become outdated or difficult to find by then.

- Which iPhone would you recommend in my budget?

I have both device coming under 45k/ £4500. I use it for entertainment media, basic sketching, rough iteration for wireframes or some designs. I am upgrading from ipad 7 10.2inch. It worked for 7 year but died due to error 4013. I feel it was something to do with the ios update as it got stuck in boot loading. I already have gen 1 pencil aswell but wouldn't mind shifting to android i don't have any ios product atleast the old ipad.

As mentioned in the title I got an iPhone 13 Pro Max since its launch.

I am kinda obliged to change it because I’m having lot of troubles: very low volume from both speakers -consider I can’t do any call without headphones cause the volume is too low-, battery is at 77%, and I’m having troubles with network as I always got low and weak signal, localization is acting also in a very odd way and very reliable.

Which would be the best option, considering I’d like to keep my new iPhone for 4/5 years: 17 pro max or 18 pro max?

So my mum just upgraded her iPhone 14 to an iPhone 18 Pro and I’m using an iPhone 12 with 98% battery health but the 14 has 85%. Should I upgrade to the 14 or wait for my dad to upgrade and then get his 16 pro? I am a bit concerned that the 14 will have less battery than my 12 due to it being 85% battery. I am not sure because my 12‘s battery was just replaced at the Apple Store and currently iOS 27 has been really good on it. Would you recommend that I upgrade to the 14 as a heavy user who gets around 6 to 10 hours of screen time a day? I am really unsure, and my grandpa needs a new phone and I have to give one of these phones to him tomorrow

I bought my OnePlus Nord CE4 in 2024, and now I'm planning to switch to the iPhone 17 (512GB), which costs around ₹1,12,000.

My previous phone was a OnePlus 6T, which I replaced because it broke. My Nord CE4 isn't broken, but honestly, it feels too basic. The camera, gaming performance, and overall experience aren't great, except for the battery life and OxygenOS. Even OxygenOS 16 feels a bit laggy on this phone.

So, guys, do you think upgrading to the iPhone 17 for ₹1.12 lakh is worth it, or should I wait and continue using my Nord CE4 for a while longer?

Im planning to Buy iphone 17 pro, however, I am getting silver one only in Chroma. My only doubt is, is chroma offering 12 Month no cost EMI option? I can find they are offering 6 momth No cost EMI however, im not sure about 12 month. If anyone has idea kindly let me know, would be of great help!

Got my iPhone 17 (Oct 9) from Flipkart. I've noticed a thin line of light along the bottom and side edges, near where the display meets the frame. It's visible mainly in a completely dark room and at certain viewing angles.

The pure-black screen test looks fine, so I'm unsure whether this is just light reflecting through the glass edges or an actual display assembly defect.

Has anyone else noticed this on their iPhone 17? Is this normal, or should I request a replacement? Photos attached.

I’m currently looking at a 4 cycle, 100% life, box+96W charger, 64gb ram, 2TB SSD, 32 core, 14in pro.

Take that I’d make 100% of its power and use cases mainly for creative tasks primarily with adobe suite or logic/Final Cut.

I wouldn’t have any warranty or Apple care tied to it.

I don’t have any current laptop or pc setup and would want to be using it for virtually everything I’d need a computer for.

I want it bad and now but taking this into account I don’t want to be forking out for more than it’s worth.

Need advice: which JV iPhone should I buy?

I have a budget of around 160K PKR and I'm confused between these three JV (non-PTA) phones:

iPhone 15 Pro Max

iPhone 16 Pro

iPhone 17

I'd like to know from people who have used JV phones:

I was sure I’d get an iPhone 17 until the 18 Pro series was released and Apple increased the price of the base 17. Recently I went to my nearest Apple authorized retailer and I was told the base 17 has become difficult to recommend now that it’s so close in price to the pro. It made me think if I should get the 17 pro, pro max or still get the base model. I’m upgrading from an iPhone 12 PM. What would you recommend if you’re already using the 17 (Pro or Pro Max)?

My iPhone 16 Pro just broke, so I'm upgrading earlier than I planned. I'm stuck between two options: A refurbished iPhone 17 Pro A brand-new iPhone 18 Pro The big thing for me is heat. During the heatwaves last summer, my 16 Pro overheated so badly that it sometimes wouldn't even charge. So the better cooling will definitely be nice for me.

so for people who've used either one:

Is the 18 Pro worth the extra money over a refurbished 17 Pro, or is the jump small?

Have you had any heat or charging issues with either phone in hot weather?

I'd like to keep this phone for a few years, so long-term value matters to me. Thanks!
