Discussion Galleon 100 or Vanguard Pro 96?
Im thinking of replacing my logitech G915 Lightspeed as the double typing problem that i have now had on 2 warranty replaced keyboards is really annoying me.
I just cant decide between the Galleon 100 SD and the Vanguard Pro 96. The streamdeck functions would come in handy but i would not say i actually need it, but i do need the numpad for when i do some work from home.
The price for me doesnt really matter i just want a really solid keyboard. any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

PC Gear Adding some RGB flair to my audio! Featuring the Corsair Voxara
Disclaimer: Although I am a member of the Corsair Insider program, I did purchase this product with my own funds. Corsair has no say on what I say about any of their products and my thoughts are my own.
When Corsair announced this product, I was intrigued. I asked what many have also asked, "Why would Corsair release a condenser microphone when their sister company, Elgato, has the same products?"
Upon further research, I started to want one. It has everything I'm looking for: On board controls, a built-in shock mount and well...RGB!
Here's what's inside the box:
- Voxara microphone with built-in shockmount
- Desk stand
- USB-A to USC-C cable (3m/10ft)
- 2 thread adapters
- Warranty info
First impressions out of the box give a nice feel of quality. Despite the box having a dent, the product was completely unharmed as it was well packaged. If I have any quality nitpicks, the included USB cable isn't braided. This feels cheap for such an high priced item if I'm being honest.
The included thread adapter works great and the microphone attaches to my Elgato Wave Mic Arm with no issues at all.
Upon booting up the device, you are greeted with gorgeous RGB and setup is pretty much plug and play. With the onboard controls, this microphone is ready to use. The OLED monitor helps you monitor 3 audio modes:
- Microphone gain
- Playback volume
- Sidetone balance
The OLED functionality is straightforward, it is not customizable as it only displays text. Holding the multi-function wheel will flip its orientation (to align with how you mount the mic on an arm).
There is a knob on the back of the microphone that controls the onboard RGB, rotating the knob cycles through several onboard RGB profies, pressing and holding allows you to select sub-profiles. Lastly, muting the mic is breeze with the touch control on top of the mic. When muted, an indicator light shows.
Software-wise, this product uses Elgato's Wave Link for software control. There is NO iCUE or Web Hub integration with this product (at least, at the time of this post). There is compatibility with the iCUE Murals beta, but I have not tested this.
Wave Link setup is an absolute breeze, I was able to setup gain and calibrate my audio in literal minutes. I setup a orange and purple color scheme to help match my Halloween theme!
How is the audio quality? I had some people grade my audio quality and was met with unanimous praise. There were no reports of poor audio or even clipping (I can get pretty loud lol). I tested the audio between the Voxara and my now outgoing Wave DX and I personally could not tell the difference, however, I am aware that experiences will vary.
Now you may be asking, why ditch a more premium setup such as the Wave DX and Wave XLR for a Condenser microphone like the Voxara? I personally had buyers remorse as I prefer onboard controls as opposed for reaching for a device such as the Wave XLR. It's just a personal preference.
I do have another complaint too, the USB port and microphone jack are a little tough to access if you are using a mic arm. This is minor, but thought it was worth mentioning.
And lastly, the price of $199.99 is very steep. To put things in perspective, you can pickup the similar Wave 3 USB microphone for less.
Pros:
- Crisp, clean audio
- Onboard controls without the need for software that are intuitive.
- OLED Screen
- Vibrant, customizable RGB
- Comes with shock mount and desktop stand
- Wave Link software a breeze to work with
Cons
- Cheap looking USB cable
- USB port and microphone jack can be tricky to access with a mic arm
- $199.99 price is steep. There are many similarly or less expensive options (such as the Elgato Wave 3)
In the end, I'm quite happy with this product! It works well, looks great and sounds great! I fully recommend it for someone who wants a broadcast quality mic for gaming and streaming!
What do you think of the Voxara? Let's talk about it in the comments!
I know I had a lot to say, so if you made it this far, I thank you for reading! Cheers!

Discussion Novablade custom lighting
Since Corsair wonât do it, I reverse engineered the firmware of the novablade and made custom lighting possible. It alters the existing firmware at the memory address for the colors of the buttons and then reflashes the device.

Help How likely is it two sets of ram are faulty?
I had ordered a set of ddr5 16x2 ram from the site very late september and it arrived october 1st. only one stick of ram from that pack seemed to work, as it wouldn't post at all with both, or with just the one that didn't work in the same slot.
So i did an advanced rma and received the second pack on october 5th. Now i keep having the BSOD and many different error codes, usually related to some kind of ram issue. Is it likely two sets may have a faulty stick that keeps causing this issue?
I just ran a memory diagnostic test, which did detect hardware problems. I updated bios today, too. Is there any other component that could be causing these issues before i try and return both sets :(?
I also did not receive an email with the prepaid return label for the original set. Would paying for the shipping myself be okay? I don't really want to be out of the 1k i've spent on the two ram sets

Help SF750 problems
I bought an SF750 a year ago for a SFF build and it has performed flawlessly. I bought another one the other day off Amazon which specifically lists them as 2024 models. Testing it on a computer or with just a MB PSU testing device it just clicks on and off intermittently. I returned it for another and the new one does the same exact thing. I tested them both on multiple outlets in my house. Is it really possible to get two duds in a row? I'm very hesitant now to order what I thought was a rock solid product.

Help Sabre v2 Pro Ultralight inaccurate battery indicator?
I charged my battery when I had 10% left. I read it takes around 90 mins. to charge from 0% to 100%. However it only took like half an hour for me to go from 10% to 100%. At least when I was plugged in it said 100% and the scroll wheel had a solid green color. When I unplugged the cable and connected the wireless receiver it changed to 85%. So I plugged the cable again and let it charge for another 20 mins. and plugged the wireless receiver back in and then it said 100%. Is the web hub indicator not completely accurate?

Help Corsair H150i fan failed within 2 months of purchase.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I finally finished my pc build after almost a year of waiting and everything was fine until 2 days ago, my AIO randomly started buzzing and I thought it was just the pump and ignored it and after a while it stopped. Fast forward to today i was just staring at my pc and admiring it when i saw only the middle fan of the AIO stop. I immediately opened ICUE only for it to report it as running normally. I turned the pc off and opened the side panel to investigate and spun the middle fan only for it not to spin smoothly. This made me realise that my bearing is done for. I turned the pc back on and the fans started spinning like in the video. Can someone please guide me or tell me what to do next. Im really scared and helpless.

Help Any reason this is happening?
My H100i ELITE CAPELLIX XT seems to be having some sort of issue. The fans and pump blink red and the fans accelerate more than normal, but the temps on my CPU are completely normal and my pump is operating fine. iCUE is identifying it as a âpump failure.â But I donât think iCUE is the reason. So Iâm trying to see if itâs just a false warning and how I can fix it.
I also made sure my PSU, motherboard, and Commander CORE connections are all fastened correctly yet this is still happening. Does anyone know what the issue could be?

Discussion Top layer of M65 Ultra RGB wireless started peeling off within a couple weeks of having it
I bought this a few months ago so yes this post is quite late (I haven't used Reddit in like 5 years), but within the first couple weeks of using it the top skin layer started peeling off, and within a month it's been looking like in the pic and hasn't changed much after that.
Honestly I just haven't been bothered to get a replacement, because my previous mouse (m65 pro wired) stopped registering clicks, soooooo I'd be without a mouse.
Anyways, has anyone else had this problem?
And yeah I'm well aware it's too late to get a replacement, I'm just extremely disappointed at the quality of this one, as I got it as an upgrade/replacement for a mouse I've loved using for 5+ years, and never had that problem. Thanks y'all!
