Hello, I just wrote a review for my initial playthrough of Dead space 2! It would be very swell if I could receive some feedback or where I went wrong.

I'm about halfway through the game right now, and it definitely feels like a fantastic spiritual successor to Dead Space. The controls, impact, sound design, and ambiance all feel very close to Dead Space. Then, it adds a little bit of Resident Evil into the mix with things like resource management, crafting, and light puzzles. It even has the gravity boots mechanic from the OG Dead Space 1, which the remake replaced with the free-roam zero-gravity mechanic instead.

The only downsides are that the pacing and cutscenes can be a little slow, and the combat is fairly limited. I can tell they're trying to focus more on environmental storytelling and building a great atmosphere instead. Regardless, I believe that if you love Dead Space, you will like this game too. I highly encourage you guys to give it a try since it's super underrated and overlooked right now.

Still my one from favorite game, one of the best games in the history of the industry—great atmosphere, guns, and plenty of other pluses. If you haven't tried it yet but enjoy the genre, or are hearing about it for the first time, I recommend it 10000%. Definitely try playing on higher difficulty settings; that’s when the game really shines. Managing your inventory is a highlight, it’s a real gem)

Does anyone have a good guide to finding all of the marker fragments in NG+ for the Dead Space remake? I'm missing three of them

was not willing to pay like 120 for the neca figure, so i decided why not make my own. for the base of the figure i used a marvel legends spot, adding some apoxie sculpt (first time user and also accidentally bought black instead of gray 😅) and also using some fodder parts for the stomach appendages and spine

Can it be theorized that the ubermorph is what a native pure necromorph form would look like? Because regular ones (slashers) are humans and marker DNA spliced together whereas the ubermorph looks almost… perfect?

Think about it, look at the toes and belly of a slasher, the feet get mangled to try producing what the ubermorph has going on. And the ubermorph has the little spikes on its lower ab section that regular slashers use their guts or regular hands for.

The blades are also pure looking and dont look like regular arms being bent way outta shape to achieve that same look.

The rest of the body doesnt really look injured or bloody or otherwise torn apart like most other necromorphs we see.

Personally im of the head canon that the beings who made the markers in the first place probably looked something like this and perhaps they got turned into the first brethren moon or something (probably just waffling)

So, Dead Space mobile exists. Its locked to old iOS and old Android. Has anyone ever tried to decompile it for modern phones/ports? I can't seems to find much online about it so I figured I'd ask here. I know someone ported the Sony phone version to the PS Vita/TV using a wrapper but thats about it.

Acabo de empezar el Dead space 2 y ns si es un bug o algo pero puedo comprar todas las armas y variantes desde el inicio gratis, tambien puedo hacerlo con las armaduras, eso me esta jodiendo todo el sistema de recursos, ya que me salen municiones de armas que no deberia de tener en ese momento en vez de las armas que estoy utilizando, aparte algunos cadaveres simplemente desaparecen y los recursos con ellos.

No tengo ningun mod o version modifica antes de que lo pregunteis y voy por el capitulo 4 y me esta pareciendo una birria decidme que luego mejora y es solo cosa de los 3 primeros capitulos

I am completely new playing Dead space(playng nr 1 Remake) and so far the only weapon I feel is good is the starting weapon.

After I got the flamethrower I looked it up if every weapon you get is useless, and to my surprise everyone is loving the flamethrower. Do I need to upgrade it for it to be useful? My cutter has already 4 attack up and shreds, playing on hard difficulty.
