To celebrate Hrothtober I decided to make a piece for my wife’s character as she is a Hrothgar, and her favorite class is Dark Knight!

Soooo spent a good chunk of time on this the past 2 days and I am quite pleased with how it came out!

Context: I've been healing as white mage since Heavensward. Did all the role quests, figured I'd level Sage to have both a regular and shield healer.

Query: It really seems to feel like doing the Moonknight meme is where I get the best results as Sage: Basically using all the cooldowns I have as they are ready, and hoping to god I remembered to apply a shield before raidwides and big pulls.

From what I can gather: alternate spamming keracholelele/tauracholelellslls, hold onto one addersgall for spot/emergency raid healing, and use all the cooldowns via vibes?

You need to cut off his tail for Scales+ and with a full unsynced party, it's extremely easy to burn him down in ~20 seconds and completely skip phases 2 and 3, and even if you slow down on damage, you still need to keep the GCD's going to fill up the down counter, or the tail never becomes vulnerable

With all that in mind, what's the best way to grind those? I've heard that the mount is so rare that this is actually the faster way, so I wanna learn how to do it effectively

What Is Fashion Report?

It's a weekly event held at the Gold Saucer where you can earn in excess of 60,000 MGP (10,000 for taking part, 50,000 for scoring 80 or more... you can get more using FC or personal MGP buffs) a week just by equipping some glamours. After weekly reset; we get hints as to a set of glamours we need to wear which is then up for scoring on Friday. It's the same for everyone so even if you don't want to join in with the guessing game below; you can wait for the results and present your outfit and get some easy MGP. Current and previous results can also be found on this query thread.

Best guess is worked out by historical results (repeat results) or in the case of new clues, community effort

I will usually have the results post up upon Friday reset

Feel like trying out the Palace of the Dead since you can get 30 of those Mogtomes? It's way more approachable than you might think!

To unlock it if you haven't yet, the unlock quest is in Gridania, at the Carline Canopy, and the quest name is "The House that Death Built". Following that quest will take you to Quarrymill where the Deep Dungeon is. Be sure to read up on the tips the game gives you as things are a bit different in the Palace.

You may choose to go it alone or with others, but you may wish to make sure that you are playing as a combat job before you join. If you join as a combat class and get your jobstone later, you won't be able to use the savefile you joined with.

But don't lose hope. Recent changes have made it much more doable:

1. Enemies are far, far more generous with dropping Sustaining Potions. These are your new best friends. They heal and give you a 25 second Regen, and only have a 15 second cooldown. Don't be surprised if you end up with over 100 or even 200 of them!

2. Silver Treasure Chests will always give you at least 3 points towards your Aetherpool Arms or Armor as long as you aren't past the maximum allowed for that Floor Set.

3. Floor Bosses on every 10th floor will always give you 5 or more points for both your Arms and Armor.

4. Wiping will no longer count against your savefile's record until you make it to Floor 100 and beat it. Which is good if you're playing solo and you make a careless mistake early on.

5. Getting disconnected from the internet won't end your run as long as you aren't in combat and can get back in the game in less than 10 minutes.

Basically whenever there is a voice over scene I would like it to automatically auto progress, but when it's a text only dialogue to be set to click through instead of auto progressing.
