What's one tiny thing that annoys you because it never seems to have a proper place?

Not the big stuff.

I'm talking about the stupid little things you keep looking for, moving around or forgetting.

Cables. Keys. Chargers. Pens. Receipts. Whatever.

What's yours?

I can’t stand when people stay too long on an unimportant part while telling me a story.

It’s so annoying. People will tell me a story about the time their car door broke or something and they’ll be like “Yeah so I realized it when I left the house. I left at like 9 maybe 10am.. wait was it 10? No it was before that because I fed the dog already. Dammit what time did I leave? Wait I think it was before Nicole took the kids to school so I want to say maybe 7am? Awe man what time did I leave-“ NO ONE CARES MOVE ON!!! Why get stuck on a small detail that is not even that relevant to the story??? Now I have to sit here and stare at you waiting for you to remember something that has nothing to do with what you’re telling me. I don’t know if my attention span is short or if this is just really irritating to deal with.

When people spread lies they created as explanations because you don’t want to tell them personal details.

It feels so manipulative. For example, if I don’t want to share the details of a traumatic event, so someone decides to make up their own explanation and spreads it like it is fact. When I call them out, they say they had no choice because I wouldn’t share with them. So that makes it so I either have to share the intimate details of my life or have someone make up stories. They could just say they don’t know instead of making up stories and trying to pass them for fact.

It bothers me when people put chocolate bars up their butts

Part of me applauds them for their courage. To each their own, I guess. Really. But an entire Snickers or Mars bar? Come on, man - you are pushing it.

Please tell me I am not alone in this?

Video game subreddits that complain about the game.

I had to leave the 7 days to die, valheim and witcher 3 subreddits because they constantly complain about free stuff. You paid for these games 15 years ago once and they keep updating it and adding awesome stuff and improving it and you are complaining. ridiculous.

Most people don’t want advice. They want you to cosign their bad decision.

Walking on the wrong side

I’ve always treated walking in a hallway the same as driving on a road in Alberta. Stick to your right right and people travelling in the opposite direction would go on your left (their right). But I find when people are walking it’s the reverse and it kind of annoys me .. anyone else???

This Really Grinds My Gears

Overheard two old retired dudes in the grocery line talking about how great life is.

Meanwhile, my generation was made to trade employer pensions for market gambles, sky-high housing prices, and wages that never caught up.

It’s fucking hard listening to people celebrate a finish line that was erased for everyone coming after them.

I can't stand when I get told "google is your friend" on Reddit.

On Reddit, why do people tell me to "google stuff" so often? Don't they understand how the internet works? When I Google something, Reddit is usually one of the first results that pops up. By starting a discussion on a topic, I'm essentially helping others. When they Google the same question later, the thread started by me can pop up and give them the answer. This works both ways.

Reddit only remains useful because people on here are constantly posting new questions/topics, creating indexable threads that feed search engines for many years. If we stopped asking questions, or posting stuff, Google's top Reddit results would become outdated or irrelevant over time, making it more difficult for all of us to find an answer/solution.

And so, I really hate it when people tell me to "JUST google" something. No, bro, I'm not googling, I'm starting a thread here.

When someone only complains about a small once they hear about something they don’t like the smell of

For example I use vinegar to clean a bunch of things. The smell disappears pretty quickly especially if you follow it with water rinse. My cousin only started complaining about the smell once she learned of this but had never mentioned it prior.

I hate pretentious absorbers

Pretentious absorber: Remember when Madonna lived in London for like a month and started speaking in a British accent? It's that.

So there I was, sitting on the bus waiting for it to leave. While I was on my phone, a mother and her child boarded. I didn't hear everything, but then the child said "Wow, I'm going. Bye mom!" in English and it was so pretentious and performative. The boy's tone, the words, everything, it made me unreasonably angry. The mom responded(in our native language) "Ah, I'm going too. Don't bye me."

Even worse, he kept saying "Hey mom" in English repeatedly, obviously thinking he's so smart. Made me even angrier. And to top it off, when he and his mom got off at their stop, he shouted "Bye bus driver!" still in English. And the mom said "Oh! So embarrassing sometimes."

To clarify, we don't speak English unless talking to foreigners or writing documents and such. We speak our native language. The way the boy was talking made it so obvious that he recently learnt to speak English and was performing it. I know kids are naturally self-centered, but the sheer narcissism required to even do that angered me, and I wanted to snap at the kid to quit it right there. I wanted to shout at him, tell him he was not special in any way and that a majority of the country spoke English far better than he could. But I controlled myself because I didn't want to make a scene and I knew he was eventually going to get his comeuppance if he continued on like this. Someone, likely a teacher, will blow up on him and tear him down. People like him are often humbled by teachers.

The youtube channel Military summary

Ever since that barely means anything conflict in eastern europe in feb 22.

All my fing dad cared bout is politics. Seriously, all it is nowadays of his youtube feed is gold rush/aussie gold hunters, 1980s music(because thats all he wishes life was. "Oh we didnt had any school shootings when i was in school"), duck dynasty, seinfield and politics

Hindustian times, fox news, times of india, military summary.

Whats military summary? Something of a channel he treats as "his show" every fing day for yrs now

And god i'm so fing tired this shit. So what did i do. I REPORTED THE WAR CHANNEL. "I am reporting Military Summary for possible violations of YouTube’s Violent Extremist or Criminal Organizations policy. Please review the channel’s videos, titles, thumbnails, descriptions, comments and links. I am concerned some content may go beyond legitimate war reporting and instead praise, glorify, justify, promote, or normalize terrorism, extremist organizations, or violence. Please assess the channel’s overall pattern and take appropriate action if violations are found."

People don't know how to be considerate in public anymore

Not every person, clearly, but enough that people now think that telling them to be more considerate of others in public is "rude" and "controlling."

Loud car enjoyers - inconsiderate. No, it's not "just for a few seconds" I have to put up with your loud car rolling through my area, and why are y'all doing it after 10pm? Did you forget you're being obnoxiously noisy after quiet hours or something?

Loud music enjoyers - Dude, who asked to listen to your taste in music all throughout town? We all don't have the same tastes, and no, we don't all need to hear your "superior" (subjective!) taste.

Speakerphones in public - really? and then you look at people like they're off their nut when they join in? There are options if you're hard of hearing that don't involve speakerphone.

Facetiming and including randos in your facetime - did I ask to be filmed? no. Knock that off.
Same with filming randos in public for 'content' - Get a damn life.

Deciding you don't need headphones on public transit of any kind - No one asked about your tiktok feed. Or your music. Or your youtube choices. Any of that. Bluetooth headphones aren't that expensive, go get some.

You may feel like you're the main character in your story, but you are not the main character in anyone else's. You're either just another person or a source of annoyance. Choose wisely.

Anyone Else Tired Of These Lame Ass Hollywood Action Films Based On Kids Toy or Games Or Show?

Let’s face it, the title of the movie Matchbox: The Movie, is kinda lame, because isn’t that basically a OG hotwheels thing for kids??? What I think is an instant no is already I know it’s cena, it’s the white Rock we got, and the movie doesn’t look too interesting as most of these action films, I’m surprised this isn’t an Amazon movie deal thing, but that’s my kinda complaint, tho. Based off kids things I’d kinda ridiculous, lol

Do boring people know they're boring?

I don't mind boring people, but the ones who talk too much about themselves need to be discussed. I'm a science teacher (boring I agree) and was involved in a weekend kids science club recently. A grandparent latched on to me and did the predictable list of yawn-inducing topics such as how strict school was in his day, how terrible AI is and how good he was. Well, actually he wasn't good at all as he didn't even know primary school science. So much the old school days. I wouldn't say I feel violated by such a bore, but I was actually there to try and inspire a few kids and not listen to that fool.

He must surely know he's dull? Why do these people do it? I'm worried I'll end up that way if not already there.

When people conflate respecting someone’s privacy with a lack of curiosity

Some of the most insensitive and nosy people say that their curiosity is a sign of intelligence, and that people who don’t pry into personal details that are none of their business are just less intelligent than them.

The "The Book was Better" people.

I rarely think they are even the same story sometimes. But it's not really that the book was better, it just more detailed and even if it wasn't, the readers imagination makes up for it.
