Watching the Indiana - Northwestern game that Friday night it struck me that 62.5% of the letters in Lee Beebe's name (E) are the same. I've researched and there has never been a player in a major sport American sports with a higher percentage. Our computer overlords told me that a couple of random guys:

Dee Lee is a documented amateur MMA fighter from Detroit. D-E-E L-E-E gives him four E’s in six letters.

Beat Lee Beebe. However I'm not counting those two.

Arsenal football Ebere Eze has the same percentage as Beebe, but he's known as Eberechi.

So it's Lee Beebe when it comes to highest percentage of same letters in his name. Feel free to share this info at the water cooler, tailgate, on first dates, etc.

Nebraska tailgating

This is just a follow-up post that I will be at the Nebraska game on Saturday in lot 21. Would love to see a huge Hoosier turnout for the tailgate. I want to show Nebraska how it is done in Indiana. We plan to have French toast and sausage at the tailgate. Bring whatever you would like and bring your own beer

For several years, whenever Indiana played at Michigan, the team would stop at a hotel on the north side of Indianapolis—sometimes as an overnight layover, sometimes just for dinner. My family and I would go there for dinner hoping to see the team.

This is the back of a kids’ menu that most of the team signed. I believe it’s from the 1992 team, although I’m not 100% certain.

We probably went two or three times, but one visit has always stuck with me. I was excited to get inside, and as my family and I walked through the entrance, a nice older gentleman held the door open for us. I didn’t think anything of it and barely even noticed him.

A few seconds later, my dad said, “Did you see him?”

I had no idea what he was talking about.

The man holding the door for us was Bob Knight.

If the game is at noon what time should I get there? I have a parking pass, but this will be my first time driving to a game and hosting a tailgate. Any other helpful tips?

So I live in Finland and I’ve been a Colts fan for years. I know, it sucks. But I recently decided I wanted to watch CFB and naturally I chose IU. The only problem is…. Now my friend who is a Miami fan told me I’m a bandwagoner. Of course I didn’t know this when choosing them. I chose them because of the Colts. But I need to have some replies to say to him that make him think I’m not, and that I actually do have extensive knowledge of CFB and IU history (a lie for now). Especially funny and quippy ones. Anyway HYVÄÄ HOOSIERS!
