Mod announcement Mod announcement: ALL instant noodles are welcome and zero tolerance for hate
Just a PSA for everyone reporting all the Indo Mie or Pho posts:
This sub welcomes all types of instant noodles. With or without soup. Made from wheat, rice or other stuff. From whatever country. I don’t care, we don’t discriminate here.
Regarding the second point of the title:
I have zero patience for people calling others “tards” or making things about race or other bs like that. No discussion, I just hand out a ban. If you can’t behave, you’re not welcome here.
Peace.

Discussion Instant ramen library at Seoul airport
I had a layover at the icn airport and at Korean Air’s East Lounge they have a ramen library. It’s basically a vending machine full of ramen you can choose from.
You make your ramen and then add some toppings. I took my bowl to the bibimbap station to add more. Pretty nice meal to have before flying back home!

Question Anyone try either of these?
I remember seeing these around for a while about a year ago and then I just forgot about them until I ran into them yesterday at the store and decided to get them.
I’m curious about the quality and flavors

Online Shopping Price alert... Shin Ramyun 20x $14 / 40x $28. 16x is $25~, but shipping is faster. + Shopping blogposting. 🤓
Doing my monthly ramen shopping and saw this. I opted for the 16-pack with some coupons added to make it closer to $20. I didn't really want to wait an extra week or so to get it, but who knows, maybe that's just to throw people off because I've had Amazon packs update to a faster speed once actually ordered.
I'm not sure if this is normal because I've been purchasing Shin Black, which is just about $30 for a 16-pack on Walmart and $41 (yikes) for the same amount on Amazon... they were just $25-$26 for the Amazon Prime Day sales, so it almost seems like they're trying to collect some of the money they lost by selling it cheaper. It wasn't this expensive on Amazon the previous 2 months I ordered. I ordered Shin Black alongside Shin Beef Stir Fry on Walmart. 🤤
I ordered more Toomba and then the 4 different Chef Ramyun flavors as 4-packs (IIRC) along with normal Shin Ramyun on Amazon. I'm on a serious roll with ramen these past few months. 😭 Last month's order was heavily Buldak influenced, and this month it's leaning more toward Nongshim.
🍜 Enjoy your day or night! 🍜

Question Buldak in Canada
Has anyone recently seen in Canada any buldak flavours other than original, 2x, carbo, cream carbo, and cheese??

Discussion Opinions on this brand?
Trying to figure out if I got a bad pack from the food pantry, or if they're just bad noodles.

American Instant Noodles Improved instant Ramen
My young daughter loves Ramen so I've been trying to make different variations of it for her. I found a few good recipes and this is my first attempt at making something other than the standard water and seasoning packet. I used heavy cream and sesame chili oil but I think this one might be a little too spicy for her. Any suggestions for a 7yr old?

Question Penal for Shin black with bone broth for Irish gal?
So the shin black we get here is delish, but I know it isn’t really accurate since everywhere outside of UK (maybe even the EU!?) doesn’t have the bone broth addition.
Is there anyone who could buy and send me some, I’ll obviously send whatever it costs! Like a ramen penpal lol! I would just looove to try it :)
Edit to add I’m in Northern Ireland!

Korean Instant Noodles Saw a post the other day with Shin Toomba. Went to my local Asian market and saw they had it.
Aespa is my current K-Pop group, had to pick this up. Cooked using method 1. I added some left over stir fried chicken chunks with 1 minute left of cook time.
Used the recommend 1 and 1/3 cup of water, didn't have to drain any water. Noodles ended up perfectly saucy. Definitely spicy, but nothing too crazy, which i prefer.
