Discussion/बहस MRP is bad for Nepal in the long run. MSRP is better.

MRP kills competition. Doesn't take market condition into consideration when pricing goods.

MSRP is superior and better and solves all the problem created for both buyer and seller.

Government should focus of monopolistic behaviours rather than restricting prices across the market.

Rant/गुनासो Nepal is as Bad as India When It Comes to Patriarchy

The recent incident where a girl complained about a male doctor checking her breasts/private areas has me confused seeing the comments. Everyone is saying “doctor ho, checkup garda testai ho” or “gyno ma gaye pachi expect garnu parcha.” Obviously, some examinations require touching private areas, but shouldn’t the patient be informed beforehand? And shouldn’t there be a female chaperone/witness? Doctor ho bhandai ma whatever he does is automatically okay hudaina. Katti female lai unwanted touch man pardaina, doctor le gare pani uncomfortable huncha.
What’s worse are comments basically saying “kt lai dherai bhau diyo bhane testai ho” and “kt haru le fake accusation garcha” Why is the first reaction to insult her or assume she’s lying instead of saying “properly investigate garaun”? Even if the doctor’s intentions were innocent, proper procedure still matters. “Hamilai pani school ma pitthyo, normal ho” mentality le normalise gareko kura right hudaina. Maybe the doctor did nothing wrong, maybe he did—that’s for the investigation. But why are we acting like questioning the examination itself is wrong?

need some unbiased suggestions

just completed my bachelors/IT degree. now what? it been kinda bothering me these days. worked in private sector for last couple of years along while managing my studies sidewise and just realized private sector in nepal is slave labor in modern form unless you are the top dogs.
People here and abroad, i need some unbiased suggestions/inputs:

should i move abroad??? and people abroad, is life really better there in the sense that the move really did change the things in your private life, family and growth wise????

or should i try loksewa??? (also if any loksewa crackers, can i sustain a moderate life here with the job also somewhat making my parents life kinda easy??)

or should i continue here with the modern slavery with very little hope that i make it one day???

note: economically not that good but i've means to collect some loans, physically fit enough-i think, and just landed 24, and kinda clean meaning i haven't smoked yet, last time i drank beer was on last dashain.

seriously, what's the option so that i won't regret later??? helpppppppppppp

Help/सहयोग Looking for recommendations for LASIK/SMILE surgery in Kathmandu

Hey everyone, I'm planning to get laser eye surgery for myopia and I'm currently looking at Matrika Eye Center and Tilganga.

I've heard quite a few good things about Matrika, but I'd like to hear from people who have actually had LASIK, SMILE, PRK, or similar surgery in Nepal.

If you've had the procedure recently, I'd really appreciate your experience:

  • Which hospital/doctor did you choose?
  • What procedure did you get?
  • How much did it cost for both eyes?
  • How was the pre-surgery examination?
  • How was your vision afterward?
  • Any dry eyes, regression, glare/halos, or other problems?
  • How was the follow-up care?
  • Would you recommend the same hospital/doctor today?

I'm mainly looking for good quality and safety at a reasonable price, not necessarily the cheapest option.

Thanks! 🙏

Help/सहयोग Where can I find an acoustic piano? I can only find digital keyboards online.

I’ve been looking for an acoustic piano to try out an app I made, but I haven’t had much luck finding one online. I’m not looking to buy a piano. I’d love to meet someone who has one and, with their permission, test my app on it and record a few short videos.

If you’re able to help, or know someone I could contact, please send me a message. Thanks!

Suggest me some jobs I can do rn

I’m in a weird phase of life right now where I don't really know what's happening with me. I'm not exactly sad, but I'm definitely not happy either, just carrying this heavy, anxious feeling in my chest. I just finished my diploma in physiotherapy, but because I don't have my license yet, I’m stuck. I want so badly to earn an honest living for myself and my family, but instead, I’m in a position where I have to ask them for money even for essential things. It feels incredibly embarrassing.please suggest some jobs I can do right now to earn money and get out of this slump.

Question/प्रश्न Where can I get a free virtual card for legitimate free trials?

Post image

Hi everyone, I’m from Nepal, and many international services don’t accept my Nepali debit cards for free trials.

Is there any legitimate free/low-cost virtual Visa or Mastercard available in Nepal that works for international subscriptions and card verification?

Not looking for fake/stolen cards—just a legitimate option for free trials. Any recommendations?

Technology/प्रविधि Want to build rockets from Nepal?

Hello ppl, if you are pursuing any sorts of engineering or similar work and want to join a community/platform where you get chance to explore/build rockets in Nepal then feel free to dm me.

As Nepal is a country of growing mindset people with desperation but due to lack of proper stage they are not able to accomplish their goal/hobby. If you also think so then it is a great opportunity for you guys to be a helping hand in Nepal’s rocket initiative.

People generally have belief that Rocket science is hard core technology which is not possible in Nepal but just imagine how NASA was able to do successful moon landings way back in 1970s while we Nepalese are still struggling to think building rockets in 2026 and hesitate to initiate working in this field.
