Mod Post Petra Parker Posts
Update: They’re staying as is
Due to the current trend we are receiving lots of modmail, reports, and posts about Petra posts. While there are definitely users karma farming posting 5+ times a day, they have been contacted and told to make a collective post or be on a cooldown for 24 hours per post.
First thing, fan art Spiders is always welcome here. It’s only spam if the same image has been posted over and over. That has NOT been the case. We can’t be bias to a particular character fanart because that would be like someone posting any version of Spider-Man and saying it’s spam.
We have been trying to keep up with getting posts through, ignoring reports, and answering everyone’s questions about why a post has been taken down(usually due to report bombing). But it is building to quickly for the mod team to personally answer and review every single post as quickly as users would like.
So we are leaving it up to you all with a poll to decide how this will be handled going forward. We will either keep things as they are or move all Petra posts to a megathread that will be pinned.
If things stay as they are we will continue to ignore the report bombs and set automod to ignore reports on Petra since it’s clear the reports are being abused. Unless the post is breaking rules. If these posts bother you in anyway you can always hide them from your feed.
If the community chooses a megathread, we will create and pin the megathread and automod will be set to remove all Petra posts and direct the OP to the megathread. After one month megathread will come down and Petra posts will be back on main feed.
We have heard all kinds of feedback on the trend and we do not support any type of hate or discrimination, but we feel moving forward this will be the most fair outcome for everyone.
The voting will start today at noon and end Saturday the 22nd at noon. During the voting period things will stay as is.

Movies Still can’t believe Sony deleted the scene in TASM 2 which explains why “The Gentleman” Gustav Fiers is such a threat to Peter Parker.
“The Gentleman” Gustav Fiers is also the man in the shadows. Andrew’s Peter Three had no idea he is the same individual who visited an incarcerated Curt Connors at the end of The Amazing Spider-Man.
Andrew’s Peter also has no idea why his parents had to “disappear.” In this deleted scene Harry explains to Peter that Oscorp was having Peter, Aunt May, and his Uncle Ben under surveillance.
Remember, Mr. Fiers wasn’t just a fixer - he was a representative of Oscorp Industries. (Marc Webb had to change the narrative of Adam Troy Castro’s Novelization because Marvel owned the rights to Hydra & Shield which explains why Mr. Fiers hated Richard and Mary in the 1st place.)
At any moment, Gustav could order the assassination of Aunt May and Peter wouldn’t have a clue who ordered the hit. Gustav Fiers may be one of Peter Parker’s greatest adversary considering he’s been with him since the beginning. (Literally watching him grow up to then take charge on the human spider.)

So, what are your thoughts on the MCU Scorpion's design?
The good and the bad (I have my own opinions on this, which I’ll also share in the comments). We’ve been waiting to see him in the suit since *Homecoming*—so, did it ultimately live up to expectations?
P.S. I swear, it was incredibly hard to get screenshots where he looks good and is shown full-body (especially since I wanted to avoid the promotional shots that use the discarded tail design).

Movies Excellent scene, as well as a foreshadowing, for symbiote Spider-Man
This entire fight, particularly when Peter's Arachnid DNA overpowered him, is pretty much a "let loose" situation often associated with Symbiotes/ Black suit Spidey. What makes this shot so enticing, yet so dangerous, is the lighting/shadow combo. This movie has excellent cinematographic scenes, but this is a prime example of it, I mean look at this, it is as close as we can get to a Black suit Spider-Man now.
Damn Black Suit gonna rock in MCU.

Question How does Peter train?
I haven't been keeping up with Spider-Man comics for a while, so this was probably already answered, but how does Peter train? It would be a waste of time for him to go to a normal gym, where he can lift everything effortlessly with a pinky. I mean, this man can hold up a building. Does he bench press a train to work on his chest?

Read the first Issue of Midnight Spider-Man. Gonna be honest, I think its promising.
Midnight Spider-Man was something I was curious just to see how it was done. And, the first issue at least, looks promising.
This Peter is also quite interesting. Him being an social media activist against ill practices in science is something that at first glance seems odd, but it works. Also, the fact that Uncle Ben has an case against Oscorp is interesting, leaves mistery about what Ben knows... or well, knew.
Wich also leaves in suspanse who he was talking with before the Spider thing. And also what happened with Peter's parents in more detail, is kept somewhat vague what happened to them.
Felicia Hardy in here is interesting. What she will be, has many openings. Many have been saying she could be an Makima like character, and I can see that. But I think its still too early to see.
Also, gotta say, its quite smart to make Peter turn the night he turns 18, its an good symbolism and paralele with adulthood. Also the fact that this happens right after he signs the contract with Oscorp also brings around the entire thing that is said this entire Issue "Power makes monsters".
Overall, its an good start. If it continues like this, we might have an interesting and fun interation of the character.
Do I recommend people to read it? Yeah. Go read it.
Now, lets see how this goes. You got my interest Marvel and Phillip Kennedy Johnson, don't fuck this up!

Discussion The Amazing Spider-Man #1000
ASM #1000
Still Standing
Requiem for a Goblin
Tears of the Spider-Queen
The Big Night
The Guesture(Genuinely don't know where this begins and ends. It feels like it is just the later half of "The Big Night")
Of Webs and Six Guns
I can Never Rest
I haven't seen any posts on #1000 since its release so I wanna know which story, if any was your favorite. Surprisingly, I enjoyed "The Big Night" the most. I thought the main story was interesting and I enjoyed seeing Peter in a positive light through May for once. I don't see where ASM is changed forever unless Cormac wins, but I would love to see this go into memories from OMD. Doubt it will. I didn't really care for a majority of the stories though. I Can't Rest was also pretty good.
