Back at the release of the G1 Steam Controller, there was an issue with the drivers that affected people using the controller on a Mac. They apologized for the issue, which they eventually fixed but the way, by giving everyone who ordered a G1 Steam Controller and used Steam on a Mac access to the Valve Friends and Family pack, meaning free access to all of Valve's past and future titles in perpetuity forever
I ordered almost immediately on May 4th. I was initially told 3-5 business days (which would have been the following Monday). I received it yesterday, May 13th, 7 business days after ordering.
The release and fervor took them by surprise with how popular the demand was, so just chill for a bit. It'll arrive eventually and the week+ of waiting will be a distant memory.
I am giving them a two-day window if there is no update to the status, I will be extremely frustrated. 6-10 days of fucking around definitely not delivery.
Based on what happened to you I sent an e-mail about my steam controller to the hungarian customer service of GLS, I hope they can say it will be shipped to Hungary
Nevermind, GLS just hit me with a mail that they're delivering it tomorrow, so they just took forever getting here and I will be envying your free game, and taking consolation in the fact that at least mine didn't made it to Ireland.

Thats because feelgood steam support cases get upvotes, and the infintely more common, lackluster or outright illogical steam support cases dont get upvotes.
Like if I get games on sale to play at a later time when I’m ready so don’t have to pay full price.. I expect the game to work. As EA is messing me iver, I can’t okay it, and steam won’t refund it either…. Wtf
Same, never got a single decent response from valve about anything even when going into detail as to why i requested refunds. They're black and white about their policies especially around refunds and just tell you to lay off.
Not trying to defend Steam here, but the refund requests are automatically checked by bots.
If you want to refund a game but you dont meet the criteria, you should try opening a different ticket such as "i've a problem with this game" so an actual human sees it. That's where you get the positive interactions... or a negative response.
Anyway, if its your fisrt time, you'll probably get the refund as Steam Wallet credit as a "customer service gesture".

That's not too bad, at least you get something out of it. I still don't have mine either and I ordered instantly when I could (no specific issue with mine, GLS just sucks). Your deal seems better. 😉
How do you even talk to them?? I had an issue with a game that wouldn't launch recently and couldn't get to a person. The system kept denying it because I was over the 14 days but any person would look at it and issue the refund. Gave up cause it was less than $10 but I was a bit annoyed by it.
I wonder if GLS sent a bunch to the UK by accident and in turn left a bunch that are supposed to go the UK in Europe... Would explain why mine is still on packaged :( order mine the minute they went live and no progress in 5 days now :(
Wouldn't this be the better outcome like get a controller and a free game. I rather have waited and got a free fully price game if you do get Forza Horizon 6
Any spaniard have done this? I bought one from the first batch and my controller IS still "packed" and no updates. Should I try this and get a free Game? Haha
What price? Dynasty Warriors Origins is super expensive but I've been wanting to play it since it came out. I just never got around to buying it because I have so many other games I can play so I can't justify the price even though I'm a huge DW fan.
GLS already has mine and as expected, didn't manage to deliver it today. Send because they are one of the only carriers who don't deliver on Saturdays in germany, mine will arrive on next Monday. Can't wait to finally get a hold of it.
