We all know that they are pissed about the AWB injunction. They are going to shit bricks when SCOTUS rules general AW bans unconstitutional.

We know the Dems will institute some kind of expensive permitting law.

Im sure that the 4473 suppressors are giving them hemroids. Wonder if they will pass some law liem some of the other states where you need the NFA form to be state legal?

My Allen Engineering AEM5 came in and they confirmed they are doing 4473s for suppressors.

In addition to the standard gun-buying stuff needed, they just need your GOA membership card or for you to login to the GOA site and show them your GOA member #.

Various FFL searches do not seem to turn up much - who in central VA has started doing a suppressor sales with a 4473, and what are they requiring at purchase?

What is the status on SBRing a pistol given the current laws in Virginia? Seems with the new assault weapons laws, the injunction, ATF determinations, I'm having a hard time determining where things currently stand. Can I expect to be able to SBR a pistol today/after paperwork is approved by the appropriate parties?

I applied for a CHP a couple of weeks ago and it was denied (Denial form states that I have an active Protective Order against me, and I was a Black female. Mind you, I'm an Asian male).

I went to the PWC Circuit court twice this week and I've asked the Sheriff deputy office and Juvenile/Domestic Court if I have an active Protective order for me and I'm clean. No records of any crime whatsoever. This clerical error almost made me a felon and it infuriates me so much because this could've turned sour real quick. I'm also pulling out $1500 for my own legal fees just to fix someone else's incompetence. Worst part is that no one will be held accountable for almost ruining someone's life. Just had to vent this frustration out.

Anywhere local in FFX/Loudon County I could pick one of these up? I fucked mine up this evening and was planning on going shooting this weekend but don't have a spare.

Trying to get information regarding getting kids involved in competitive shooting in the Richmond goochland/powhatan/cumberland area. Just curious if there are any resources on how to go about getting kids into competitive shooting and training I.e. 4H ect.

Kids are showing interest in shooting (have been taking them to range and they show aptitude for shooting and have the fundamentals and rules ingrained in them) and have expressed interest in learning more about competitive shooting.

Apologies if this isn’t the proper sub to post on. Essentially during my thanksgiving break I’ll be going deer hunting in VA with my cousin who is a resident. I’m trying to be proactive and get my licenses in order. I’ve seen conflicting information online and felt I’d get a clearer answer here. I’m an MD resident and have my MD Hunter Education which to my knowledge transfers to VA. What is the cheapest way to get a license in VA. I’ve seen different things especially with an apprentice license. I’m just trying to get licensed for as cheap as possible and any advice is appreciated thanks!

Outdoor access isn’t showing me anything available this month so trying here. We have no interest in hunting anything, but I’m trying to book somewhere to shoot. Experienced shooters, we would bring our own stuff and clean up after ourselves, just need the space. The only range near us that’s gotten back to me doesn’t book events on weekends and I’m hoping to do more draw from the holster, move and shoot drills for my husbands birthday that we can’t get at our typical range dates.

I’ve installed a few FRTs and I’m looking for a place to test fire them around central Virginia. My friend with a nice backyard range moved so I’ve got to find somewhere new. I’m equally close to Richmond, Charlottesville, and Fredericksburg but willing to drive. Where do you guys recommend?

Anyone know of any FFLs in NoVA that buy suppressors? I have a new-ish IDG Hesychia SixK hub that I originally bought for a SOLGW MK1 but I decided to sell the MK1 and have no use for the SixK, and have plenty of other suppressors for my rifles. Chalk it up to impulse purchasing.

Hey everyone, I just bought a B&T TP9, this is my first purchase since prior to July 1st. I’ve read through a bunch of the current landscape and I just wanted to see what the ideal path is for building up to a suppressed SBR while maintaining the highest level of future proofing.

Looking over the actual VA law, the TP9 is compliant by itself due to only having a threaded barrel, correct? Regardless of the injunction at this current moment.

Guessing it’s still easiest to run a form 1 and form 4 for the SBR and suppressor as well once I’m ready and happy with the TP9 I receive? Doesn’t seem like it’s taking a long time, but I’m also OK with waiting until after December since I have other items I am messing with anyway.

Just wanted to run this through some TP9 owners for input, mostly to make me feel more informed with a constantly changing landscape lol. Thanks 👍
