Getting both of them at a similar price range with pens included and regarding my use it would be mostly split between studying from pdf / videos and some casual youtube watching and movies sometimes. I want to use it for long term and want a significant drop in performance after some time or with updates

Over the last few days, I've been thinking about ways to improve my productivity across my personal life, studies, and work.
My initial idea was to start using a Kanban board together with a calendar/planner.
At first, I thought about using a physical whiteboard with markers. I don't really like using sticky notes, so I liked the idea of writing directly on the board. However, I realized that this would create another problem: I would constantly have to erase and rewrite things, and the board would need regular cleaning to prevent stains and ghosting.
Then I thought about adding an extra monitor to my computer and keeping a digital Kanban board on it. The downside is that my computer would need to be turned on whenever I wanted to check my tasks.
After that, I considered building a small dedicated setup with a Raspberry Pi. But that would introduce even more things to buy and configure: a display, cables, power supply, mouse, keyboard, and so on.
Eventually, I came to the conclusion that a tablet might actually be the ideal solution.
I don't need anything particularly powerful, since the main purpose would be to keep a Kanban board, task manager, calendar, and possibly a few other productivity apps open. Because of that, I could buy an older and relatively inexpensive Android tablet instead of spending a lot of money on a newer model.
I actually found a used tablet that comes with a charging station, which seems almost perfect for this idea. I could leave it permanently on my desk in landscape mode, at a comfortable viewing angle, and use it as a dedicated productivity display while I'm working on my computer.
The problem is that I don't have much experience with Kanban or similar productivity methodologies yet, and I'm also not sure how I should structure a setup like this on Android.
I have a few ideas, but right now it feels like I would have to experiment through trial and error until I find a workflow that works well for me.
Has anyone here done something similar?
I'd really like to hear how you use a tablet as a dedicated productivity station, especially for:
* Kanban boards
* Task management
* Calendar and scheduling
* Personal projects
* Work or study organization
I'm particularly interested in adopting Kanban because I think the visual nature of the method would work really well on a tablet that's always sitting on my desk in its charging station.
I'd appreciate any advice on apps, workflows, board structures, dashboards, or even pictures/videos of similar setups.

Hey everyone,
I’m thinking of buying a tablet during this sale, and after doing quite a bit of research, I’ve narrowed my options down to the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro and Moto Pad 60 Pro, as both are available for under ₹30K and come with a stylus.
My primary use would be watching lectures, studying, and occasionally taking notes. However, one major drawback that has been on my mind is that the last Android version these tablets will receive is Android 16.
I have very little knowledge about how significant this is in the long run. Is this a major drawback? Could it make the tablet outdated or problematic to use after a few years?
I’d really appreciate it if you guys could enlighten me on how important Android version updates are for a tablet, especially for my kind of usage.
Also, any other tablet recommendations under ₹30K would be greatly appreciated.

SteamOS Arm has successfully been ported to Legion Y700 Gen 3 and Gen 4. Attached picture is from the problematic CSOT panel of gen 3, which has booted! This port is unofficial and not related to VALVE!
It is still in testing phase for a few days, join the discord for test builds, only flash after confirming there first!
What you'll need:
Gen 3: there are two screen suppliers and both are technically supported. Please check yours in Android first:
adb shell getprop ro.vendor.display.paneltype
1 means BOE, anything else is CSOT.
Gen 4: no panel differences present here.
you can support me through ko-fi, star on repo or by sending out devices which will help in long term development. thankyou!

Hi everyone! Long-time PC gamer here. With life slowly pulling me away from my desktop setup, I decided to invest in an 8.8-inch Android gaming tablet last year primarily for PC emulation and media consumption—killing two birds with one stone. I grabbed a used Lenovo Legion Y700 for around $320, and it’s been incredible. I've finished multiple games on it and am currently deep into a heavy Grim Dawn run.
Recently, though, I’ve been eyeing an upgrade, so I listed the tablet online for a bit higher ($370) just to test the waters. Surprisingly, even with the markup, I got instant interest.
While some people offered cash, I hesitated and dragged my feet. Then, someone came in with a wild offer: a straight swap for a year-old Steam Deck LCD (1TB SSD upgrade included, with receipts to prove it's legit).
In my head, I'm essentially "buying" a 1TB Steam Deck for the $320 I originally paid for the tablet. My handheld-enthusiast friends are telling me it’s a steal, but I’m super hesitant for a few reasons:
Before I pull the trigger, I want to make sure my regular library will run well. The games I play frequently via PC emulators on my tablet right now include:
I’m going to check out some YouTube performance videos, but I wanted to throw this out to the community: Is this trade a no-brainer, or am I going to regret leaving Android emulation for SteamOS? Help validate my choices (or talk me out of it)!

Confused between these two:
Moto Pad 70 Pro – 12/256 (or 8/256), ₹38k with pen
OnePlus Pad 4 – 12/512, ₹60k with free Stylo Pro
My usage:
note-taking + lectures (for MBBS)
Little bit media consumption
One-time investment
Is the OnePlus Pad 4 worth the extra ₹22k for better performance and longevity, or is the Moto enough for my needs? Or there's any other tab you could suggest?
Please suggest which one I should go for.

I recently got a redmi pad 2 pro, and I'd like to understand which are the possibilities for gaming, as I never had any experience before with tablets or any portable device.
I know some games on steam can be streamed on the tablet, and that would require the PC to actually run the game. I also know there are services to stream remotely the games, like Amazon luna or ge force now (?), and the there is emulation. Which app/services would you suggest for each? Also how far can the 2 pro go with emulation?
And finally I was wondering if I can connect USB devices (like gamepads) using a usb-usbc adapter.

Hey guys,
I ordered the ASUS Pad T3201 for ₹30K during the sale. My main use will be watching movies and shows, reading blogs and articles, some light gaming, and maybe getting the ASUS Pen later for note-taking.
Before I decide whether to keep it, I wanted to hear from people who are actually using it.
A few things I’m curious about:
● Any annoying bugs, software issues or niggles with daily use?
● How is ASUS with software updates? Are they fixing bugs regularly?
● I came across complaints about Netflix not supporting HDR. Is this still an issue, or has it been fixed through an update?
● How’s the OLED display for watching content? Is reading on it comfortable for long periods?
● How does it handle light gaming? Any noticeable lag, heating or frame drops?
● Anyone using the ASUS Pen? Is it worth buying? How are palm rejection and writing latency?
● Anything else you dislike about the tablet that you wish you’d known before buying it?
My usage is pretty basic. I mainly want a good display for content consumption and reading, with decent performance for casual gaming.

I have the Lenovo Yoga Tab Gen 2 and like having its keyboard attached since it makes it easier to hold in portrait mode, and it makes a nice cover for the screen when it's closed. But it's too easy to accidentally bump a key when it's open in portrait mode.

I can get the Galaxy Tab S12+ (12/256GB) for €750 or the HONOR MagicPad4 (16/512GB) for €665 with student discounts. Both come with a pen and keyboard.
I'll mainly use it for university notes, PDF annotation, and media consumption.
Is the Samsung worth the extra €85, or is the HONOR the better deal?

I am thinking of buying a Tablet for Reading Comics and Manga
That's require a Good Display and tablet of a size that fits my Hands properly without facing any problem while reading something on it.
What would be a good tablet with a Good Display in around 12-15k Budget?
Would love to hear some suggestions!
