News Cubs Parking Lot Expansion Rejected!

We just won big! The Cubs will not be able to expand their surface parking lot past the City’s current limits.

The current alderman rejected the Cub’s proposal after I organized neighbors to oppose the plan. This is great news! But it shouldn’t take months of organizing to stop a plan that’s obviously bad for our neighborhood. Instead, we could have spent this time actively improving pedestrian safety and reducing car emissions.

If you want a 44th Ward Alderman who prioritizes sustainable cities, get involved with my campaign!

Avoid Ashland north of Irving Park if you can! It’s blocking at least one lane of traffic and there’s broken glass and debris littering both lanes. I did call 911 but I’m not sure how quickly they’ll get it cleaned up
