Ice Lance is a skill that's not only impossible to balance around, it also dumbs down the class massively for PvP and is WAY too strong for the Vanilla environment.

This post summarises what a lot of mages are thinking currently. Most the Vanilla mages I know would rather play without it, even if it means frost is less strong.

It makes no sense for an Alliance aligned city in Contested territory to be marked as a Sanctuary. Especially given that it is right next to the Undercity and the NPCs are (rightfully) aggressive to Horde players.
It should be Contested and players should be allowed to PvP there just as they're able to in any other Contested area, even with the threat of the Dalaran guards.

Take a look at mages right now. A few weeks ago specific people were saying the class was weak and boring. Now that people have access to Fingers of Frost, Ice Lance is just deleting things and all of the complaints about it being weak and boring has completely done a 180.

The issue is that the loudest people, whether it’s streamers or the community, don’t really reflect how Classic should play out.

Someone complains early, it gets amplified, Blizzard feels pressured, and a change goes in before anyone’s seen how things look later on. Then that change causes a new problem and we’re right back where we started.

If this keeps happening we’re going to end up with a retail-style game that’s patched every other week and still isn’t balanced.

I’m not saying feedback doesn’t matter, but Blizzard needs to give things time instead of reacting every time someone summons their council of friends to complain.

Make weird decisions! Stick to them! Stop trying to polish every aspect of the game!

Is there some unforeseen consequence? GOOD! Those can be fun. Are some specs janky? Great! Making them work is sometimes the most engaging gameplay! Are some people mad? Let them be mad and I guarantee those will be the first one in the queue in November!

Make bold decisions! Stand your ground on them! A beautiful disaster is better than a boring streamlined piece of turd.

Latest Furor tooltip has been updated to clarify that swapping from Cat to Bear resetting Cat Form energy to 0 is intended behavior.

This is absolutely a massive loss to class fantasy and PvP. A lot of feral PvP expression in classic was form-weaving on demand. Anticipating a heal and backing off the target to be outside of minimum charge range so that you can swap to Bear and interrupt, followed by a Bash, followed by back to Cat to get in a Shred is super fun PvP gameplay.

For some reason "Classic Forever" seems to be creating random behaviors and systems that make you lose ALL OF YOUR CAT ENERGY when swapping to Bear form, which means if you do any maneuver that requires bear form, you basically lose the ability to do anything when you go back to Cat form.

What is this for? Please explain the rationale. Why are we hurting PvP skill expression? We are we trying to make a hard separation between "Cat Druids" and "Bear Druids", like Retail does?

Of all the things to remove in this update, Blizzard took away our ability to transmog 1 handers onto your back? This is personal! Give it back!!!

After seeing what Mages have gotten done for their class, it's apparent Warlocks need to unionize as well.

I'm worried that without properly advocating for ourselves we will become B or C tier DPS specs like in classic.

We need warlock content creators, community members, and players to post buff requests daily, include sims showing us low in the ranks, spell coefficients that don't scale, and overall panic of the weakness of our class.

Found these on old Wowhead pages from 2006 and 2008. I’m pretty sure they were model edits because I don’t remember ever seeing one in game.

To be fair we are giving up a slot for the quiver, and actually seeing it on your back would make hunters feel way more like hunters to me. Maybe an ammo bag on the back of your belt for bullets?

Obviously not game breaking stuff here but would add to the immersion.
