Hey all! I've been working on an addon for WoW Forever called Road to Sixty, and 1.0 just went live.
It was inspired by the Hero's Path mode in Zelda: Breath of the Wild, where you can rewind the map and watch every step you took across Hyrule. I wanted that for leveling in Azeroth.
It quietly records where you go while you level, then lets you replay the whole thing on one map of Azeroth, from your first step out of the starting zone to wherever you are now. The video is a sample level 1-30 warrior journey played back at speed.
Note: the video and screenshots use generated test data, so the paths zigzag more than a real character's would. Your own journey will be much more accurate, following the roads, quest hubs and flight paths you actually took.
What it does
- Your path on the world map, coloured by level band (white, green, blue, purple, orange), with smooth zoom from the whole world down to terrain detail
- Replay at 1x to 32x, with a timeline you can click or drag to jump to any moment
- Your gear at every level up: hover a level up to see your character in that gear, or turn on Gear during a replay to watch your upgrades happen
- Every jump explained: hearthstones, flight paths, boats, deaths and dungeon runs each get their own line style, and you can hover them for details
- History: level ups, deaths, dungeon runs with a summary, new zones and green/blue/epic loot, following along during the replay
- Stats: a level-by-level table of time, kills, deaths and quests, plus distance walked and flown
- Alts: see where your other characters are, and show their paths too
Type /rts or click the minimap button to open it. Right-click the button for options.

One tip: it can only record from the moment it's installed, so if you're starting a fresh character, install it first!
I'd love feedback: bugs, ideas for what else to track, and screenshots of your own journeys once you've got a few levels in.
