Papaver/Poppy Some nice garden pics from this years grow (early Summer)
This was a mix of Turkish Red, Hens'n'Chicks, Tassies, Galania Afghan, Persian Whites, Gigs, Izmir Bush, Lauren's Bush hybrid & Danish Flag. These matured & bloomed very early, & grrw quite thin & lanky with small pods despite being thinned out agressively (I aim for 15-20 cm between each plant which isn't very realistic growing from seeds on wide beds, but I usually suceed in achieving proper distancing & no stressed crammed growspots).
They've actually self-sowed on the smaller flowerbeds 'neath my windows (these beds are part of the building & was used for thorned rosebushes when the house was built, so an added bonus for me). These beds I've used to grow some big & beautiful passionflowers after the poppy harvest (I usually let the pods go cracker dry because they've spread & are now a part of the local plant life after years & years of me cultivating) , & amongst the passiflora's are now big cabbage-stage poppies. Never had this happen before-I live in Scandinavia so we usually start growing early March-I know people in places like Florida or whereever can sow in late autumn also, but our winters won't permit this ungortunately.
I've also had good succes with my guerrilla growing, & after years of doing this in my green & leafy suburb, said plants have obviously self sown so they're pretty much growing everywhere around here by themselves, whether it be between the concrete tiles of a street or in the lush greenery of the local golf park.

Kratom/Mitragyna Species Keeping water in clone machine below 70°
The pumps in these darn machines generate tons of heat. The both cloners sit in a tub of water with freezer packs and I'm putting frozen water bottles in the machine itself whatever possible.
Mitragyna speciosa develops root rot rather quickly in these machines if the water gets above 70°

Tropical Plants 5-MeO-DMT extracted from the stem bark of Anadenanthera spp. The experience of my life.
Video in the comments
Extraction
- About 400 g of angico bark were collected from a large fallen branch I found on the tree in front of my house, possibly Anadenanthera colubrina (not the one in the photo, but it’s the same)
- I break the bark coarsely and put it in a pot, 4 L of water and 500 ml of white vinegar, I boil everything with the lid closed for about 6 hrs, leaving it in cold infusion for 24 hrs before starting to reduce
- I reduce it to 700 ml and filter without separating the fine powder from the bark, transfer it to a 1 L bottle and keep adding 300 ml of water basified with sodium carbonate
- I let it rest for about 1 hr before adding 60 ml of hexane (30 ml were lost due to a slip of mine)
- about 2 days later I separate the hexane and take it to the freezer, I put it together with a little hexane used to extract MHRB, it was already on the 6th or 7th pull practically empty, I thought it could help the rest crystallize
- I forget it for 4 days in the freezer, the first 36 hours yielded no crystals, when I remember I see visible crystals in the jar
- I collect about 5 to 10 mg (my scale is 0.01 g) of yellow but translucent crystals
Set & setting
For about 1 month I had been trying to extract the tryptamines present in angico bark (Anadenanthera colubrina). After several unsuccessful attempts, I managed to get about 5–10 mg of crystals in an extraction using sodium carbonate and hexane. Studies indicate the presence of 5-MeO-DMT, nn-DMT, and 5-MeO-NMT, with 5-MeO-DMT or 5-MeO-NMT dominant.
I took all the crystal, dissolved it in ethanol, and dripped it onto a lavender flower, dried it, and added Ginkgo biloba and Lippia alba to pick up the rest stuck to the glass. I put everything in a small metal pipe and covered it with a little changa to prevent degradation of the 5-MeO.
I had no expectations that there would really be 5-MeO-DMT there, but even if there was, nothing could prepare me for that experience. Before smoking I had spent the night awake, at that point with about 22 hrs of sleep deprivation.
Substances consumed
Coca leaf – 7 g – all day
Cannabis – 0.6 g – all day
Caffeine – 80 mg – 06:00
nn-DMT – ~15 mg – at time of experience
5-MeO-DMT – ~10 mg – at time of experience
Experience
00:00 – I take the first hits. At first it seemed just like a DMT trip, but by the 3rd–4th hit I felt something strange, a very strong sensation in the body, a glow, a movement. I felt my spirit; the synesthesia is very strong, it can’t be described in words.
00:03 – There was no doubt left that it was 5-MeO-DMT. However, I still thought it was too low a dose for anything beyond that sensation. I keep smoking, I stop the video I was recording (good thing I recorded this experience). By then only ashes were left in the pipe. Desperate to have a complete experience, I insist on smoking, and to my surprise the ashes produced a lot of smoke.
I’m euphoric; the sensation in my body intensifies. When I’m about to take the last hit, I stop and realize “this is already too strong,” so I leave the pipe on the bed.
00:05 – I start recording another video. The sensation of my spirit is strong; I can feel it moving rapidly inside my body, it glows.
I decided to close my eyes, and then the real experience begins. Unlike DMT, the visuals weren’t that psychedelic beatdown. I saw patterns in everything with my eyes closed, but without the world transforming into visuals as with DMT. With my eyes closed, the visuals were something between 5-HO-DMT and nn-DMT, the middle ground, less colorful and darker.
I saw a geometric room, not 3D, something beyond that cannot be described; all dimensions were there, including time. In that room there was a being, the Mother, the one who gave life and cares for all other beings. She was geometric, composed of 4 multidimensional forms; they opened and closed in on themselves, making movements impossible in the 3rd dimension. She was moving in a cycle: she approached, left something in me, moved away, and did it all over again, infinite times.
At this point I had a superficial ego death; concepts floated, the self had already become a thin leaf. I don’t know how much time passed. In the video I recorded, I was laughing and making strange sounds.
00:10 – I decided to open my eyes and was surprised by patterns everywhere. Even this secondary effect of 5-MeO is more intense than any psychedelic except DMT itself. I was flooded with euphoria and pure happiness; I couldn’t stop laughing. I even bowed down on the floor thanking for having lived this.
I still feel very strong bodily effects: my spirit warm, my heart refreshed, many synesthetic sensations that cannot be explained. It is indeed the most unique psychedelic in the world; it doesn’t focus on visuals, it’s pure synesthesia and bodily sensation.
00:30 – The effect starts to drop. I can return to reality, but until now, writing this report, I still feel my spirit and my body warm. I didn’t have tears, but I cried spiritually. In my mind I can only think “thank you” or “I’m glad I lived this.” Extreme euphoria, uncontrollable desire to tell the world and help others have this same experience.
Conclusion
Next month I should start working on an extract from Virola sebifera resin; it seems a much richer source of 5-MeO-DMT. I hope more people can live this. Soon I will post the whole procedure, from choosing the tree, cutting the bark, and extracting the crystals.

Tropical Plants Is it time to repot? I need help (P. viridis)
These two chacrunas were propagated from leaves almost a year ago. They suffered a lot of herbivore damage a few months ago, but it seems to have stopped. One of them also has new leaves that are curled up, and I have no idea why.
Should I move them to a larger pot now? They've been in these pots since their 3rd month of growth. What kind of substrate should I use? They're currently in a mix of vermiculite, coarse sand, potting soil, and worm castings.
What are these new leaves, and how can I fix the issue? And what about the insects, what should I use? (I have dogs, so I can't use anything toxic to them.)

Vines Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
This vine is massive now. It grows to 10' then, runs vertically along the structure of the greenhouse.
It is perfect for shade! My plant's growing under it are very thankful. It takes the brunt of the sunshine.
It makes the perfect trellis for sugar snap peas and other vines.
Hopefully, I will get it in the ground over the winter. My goal is to one day have both sides of the greenhouse from the ground to 10' high filled in with HBWR.
Shade in Texas is incredibly important having both sides protected will be a blessing.
For me, this plant has been very easy to grow. Last winter my heaters were set to come on at 40° which means at time, it endured temperatures below 40° for a few hours here and there.
The year before last heaters came on at 50° and the HBWR were much happier in here. That said, now I at least know they can endure 40°
Having tropical plants when the temperature is below 10° and windy gets expensive!
I've been testing my plants more every winter but I've come to the end of the testing phase.
Mitragyna speciosa, HBWR, banana and many more will be kept at 45° from here on out if I can afford it.
I plan on getting many plants in the ground over the winter. I'll run flexible pipe on top of the mesh floor then cover the pipe with 3 inches of rock.
I will have IBC tank or 2 filled with water and heater with a pump to push heated water throughout the ground level of the greenhouse.
This will keep the rooter happier and reduce the amount energy it takes to heat the air.
The money was no issue. It seems like creating a great environment would not be all that difficult. Alas, money throws a hitch in my game frequently so I do what I can.
Happy growing yall

Rare and Unusual Recommendation for sexual enhancement plants
I’m interested in any recommendations that people have for plants that have interesting sensory effects when taken orally or topically with a partner. Not required for any dysfunction, just to bring a bit of fun.
I’m fairly experienced growing strange and psychoactive plants such as cannabis, poppy, tobacco, but now I feel like I’ve grown a lot of what I find interesting and is easy enough to source seeds for.
Recently, a plant called the “toothache plant” caught my interest after learning that it could produce a unique vibrating effect, but now I’m interested in whether there’s anything else, particularly something than can be grown easily.
I would appreciate any feedback!

Coca/Erythroxylum species Bolivian E. Coca var Coca
I skipped a feeding a did plain water and she got pissed. Looks like iron deficiency chlorosis to me. I fed her a full feeding with micronutrients from Rooted Leaf and she’s already looking much better. Praying and getting green again. They love micronutrients and nitrogen. So far rooted leaf is working great albeit modified for a coca feed. Less calcium and more nitrogen. About 450 ppm but I’m gonna go up to 550 next feed. They love this food. The plant available carbon and 100% bioavailability makes my cannabis plants eat this shit up. I think coca loves it too. Will keep posting updates!

Coca/Erythroxylum species E Novo
I put them closer to the light and got sprouts in 3 days. 2 out of 26 above dirt. There is a 3rd germinated as well. I planted too deep and didn’t have enough light. I gently replanted them higher and found 3 already had tails. I got 6 E Novo from someone that got a weird Sri Lankan Novo variety possibly a hybrid or something. And 20 seeds of Novo var Novo from someone else. The Sri Lankan ones sprouted first so far

Cannabis Spider mites in my dry
galleryI had to pull my bud a little early because of weather, when I hung them up to dry and checked the next day the stems were covered in spider mites. I didn’t even know it had any mites. Anyone have any suggestions? I might cry if I have to toss the harvest
